Positive experience: Prices are higher than I'm willing to pay for games and as most of them don't carry many titles per system. You have to be a member of their program to benefit from anything with them, yet you need to be a hard core gamer and someone that will be in there to as much to use it.
Negative experience: Came to pick up a game during store hours only to be met with a sign that the store was "on break." Staff the store.
Fantastic experience: This is the place to go for gaming. The staff is very knowledgeable. I hope this location stays open. This is a place that has something for all of us. Old school to new school.
Fantastic experience: Friendly lady who rung me up for my video games purchase. No retro games just current model stuff meaning no PS1, 2, or 3 which I was seeking. Retro gamestop is Dundalk location and Towson location. Found some PS4 games I wanted. Not bad pricing.

Fantastic experience: Thee best gamestop in the area, handsdown. It's usually pretty empty and the staff isn't annoyed if you ask questions. Great spot to pick up funkos and cheap games. Their selection of new/used games are usually pretty solid. I've been using my monthly 5 dollar credit to pick up games I've been meaning to add for a bit. Gamestop at this point is what you make it. Great spot for collectibles and clothing if you happen to catch a sale.

Positive experience: I visited for the first time today, and the staff were very friendly and professional. The interior of the store was spacious and clean, and well-organized.
Negative experience: I’ve tried stopping in several times with in a month period and each and every time I stop by they are always closed with a note on the door “saying stepped away will be back shortly” more than an hour is not shortly. Save your time and just go to other locations or stores. This GameStop location has gone down hill. Oh and they never answer the phones either.

Negative experience: The workers were very nice. But they left out a lot of info. Including that tho, the PlayStation was used. They gave me a PlayStation that had, other peoples account info on it. And had not been properly turned off. And when I called multiple times to ask questions they weren’t by the phone. Soo I missed the 7 day window to figure out everything on my own. To GAME STOP! Stop hiring people who don’t know anything about, what you are selling. At the end of the day, they’re ripping people off.
Positive experience: One of the smaller stores that still manages to have a decent selection. Friendly staff and a convenient location make up for any size related shortcomings.
Negative experience: I’d give zero stars if I could. Nick signed me up for a membership I didn’t authorize and it charged $15 to my bill. He could not take the charge off once done and as compensation threw in a free game in exchange. I didn’t check when he threw in the game to see if it was in the case but on Christmas Day my son was upset he was gifted a case with no game. When I called and shared my experience Nick first said he would check to see if there was a game without a case in store but needed me to return the call in 10 minutes given a long line in store. Called twice and no answer so I drove up there . The manager took the game case back and could not offer assistance refunding the $15 charged on my receipt in error by Nick. This place is a complete waste of time and the manager is useless. That is the last $124 I will spend at GameStop!!!

Fantastic experience: This game stop location has an awesome selection and a super knowledgeable staff. They've always been good about using gift cards and have never had any issues with trade-ins. One time we purchased a game that did not work and couldn't go back for six days to return it and they had no problem and took it back and replaced it no questions asked!
Negative experience: Swung by to buy something and the doors are locked with a sign saying they would be back in 10 minutes. I waited for a bit but no one came back so I rolled. I guess they don't like customers buying things.
Negative experience: Walmart has Pokémon for $50 dollars in store But this GameStop would not price match because they could not find it at that price online. I even took a picture of the price in Walmart and showed them. No other GameStop has given me this problem before and I do this all the time. I just wanted to use my GameStop gift card but I can get it for 10 dollars cheaper at Walmart. Come on, everyone knows Walmart sells Nintendo games for cheaper it’s not a big secret. This GameStop just wasted my time.

Negative experience: Just got another copy of watchdogs it was the only one that had a copy that was close to me exchanged it for one that worked I asked the lady if she had the original case and she said no I watched her take it out the original case it's a shame you lied right to my face I wont be coming back to this location due to the fact she lied right to my face like it wasent an issue.

Fantastic experience: I just left and I won’t lie it’s the best experience I’ve ever had at GameStop. Ash is who took care of me she helped me out in every way possible. And they didn’t even have my game so she said she would drive down to another GameStop and pick it up for me and a few hours. Whatever the highest raise you can give you should give to her. I’ve never been blow away by GameStop customer service if anything I find it annoying because everytime I’m there all they do is try to up sell me 24/7 till I start getting pushy about and say NOOOO for the last time lol. Positive experience: Store has been generally clean when I've been there, but that's about the best thing to be said. They have no real deals on ANYTHING, from games to consoles. I may as well order what I want online, and not go to the bother of stepping inside the actual store. They don't have any exclusives, and trading in games is ridiculous - the last time I tried that, I took 15-20 games in, and walked out with less than $5. Then the used games are marked up, and when all is said and done, it just isn't worth it to buy here. The staff has always been friendly, especially to my kids, so I guess there are two positives: clean store, friendly staff. But if $$ is at all a factor - you're not going to find any even decent deals here.

Negative experience: I am livid. I went into this Gamestop to return two games and possibly buy another game. I wanted to do two transactions so I didn’t accidentally wind up with unwanted store credit at the end of it. Tricia, the employee working, didn’t want to do that. She was super pushy about doing it all at once, even though I said multiple times I wanted to do it separately. She was extremely unpleasant and had a nasty attitude because I was going to hurt her sales numbers, which are apparently more important than customer satisfaction. I then said “Well maybe I’ll take my business elsewhere” and she said something along the lines of “Fine, you do that.” I won’t be buying from them ever again. I won’t support a company that hires that sort of person.

Negative experience: Don't buy their refurbished Products. The employee that I talked to here basically tricked me into buying a refurbished ps4 instead of a new one. The HDMI port was broken, and the ps4 was covered in dust and scratches. At first, the output from the hdmi port just had tiny red spots, and now the port doesn't work at all. The pins in the hdmi port were cut and bent when I got the product, and now two of the pins are broken off entirely

Fantastic experience: Went to the Gamestop today to look for some PS3 games that were on sale. The manager Andrew was very helpful and knowledgeable. We talked about different consoles (PS4 vs Xbox One), as well as various games we've played through the years. Employees like Andrew are invaluable to a company like Gamestop due to his experience as a gamer. I ended up buying two games that he recommended. Will continue to go back there!
