Fantastic experience: Back To The Future is far and away the best destination in the area for anyone looking for retro gaming. In the course of just a couple of weeks I've picked up a PS2 that still reads discs, a Nintendo 64 that plays Japanese games, and a fantastic selection of great finds like Streets of Rage 3, Final Fantasy IX, and Fire Pro Wrestling Returns for excellent prices. All of the consoles I've bought have been in perfect working order, and all of the games I've purchased have either been in perfect condition or - in the case of Streets of Rage 3 - sold at a lower price to reflect a bit of damage to the sticker. You could be looking for a rare game still in the package worth thousands, or for a good bargain on a used copy of a game that's hard to find. Either way, Back To The Future is where you can get it.

Ive done lots of business here over the years and the owner is very kind and professional if I ever had a problem with a game or console he would immediately make it right with a replacement. Also if you buy multiple games he will always give you a better deal

Fantastic experience: I bought a handful of Pokémon games here and some ps2 games as well. They were all in great condition for a great price, plus the owner took additional money off since I bought multiple. Came back a few days later, he remembered me and showed me the new Pokémon games in stock. I got those and a 2DS. He then gave me another discount and a complimentary case for the 2DS. Super nice guy who knows his stuff and has a lot of cool stuff too.

Fantastic experience: Starting my collection and this place has been a great resource for old systems and games. Grabbed a full Sega/32X/CD setup and a PS1 (that was modded found out when I went to mod it so win win). 1 controller was bad and they gave me another no questions asked. Even let me keep the bad one and I repaired it myself. Prices are decent and the man working there is super nice. Will be going back for many more visits on top of the few I have already made.

Fantastic experience: Went in to pawn a 3DS game and was quite pleasantly surprised by their selection of cassettes. Lots of great outta-print Bowie, Queen, Pink Floyd. Stuff I've never seen in a record shop (I'd been to a few in Prov that day and left w/ peanuts). Manager saw me geeking and brought out a special case w/ even better pulls. Got it all for a great price, better than anything I'd find online. If I didn't live across the country I'd be back every week.

Fantastic experience: Legit treasure trove! If you wanted anything from the 80s, you’d find it here. (Except Legend of Zelda which my son was looking for, but that’s not the easiest find ). We found a bunch of other games my kids wanted and Jose the lovely owner, made us a good package deal. Worth a stop!

Fantastic experience: I went here looking for a VERY specific *NEW* 3DS XL and after scouring the internet and a couple retro stores I randomly decided to stop here on my way by. I entered and was immediately greeted by an older gentlemen inquiring if I was looking for anything specific. I told him what I needed and he directed me to the 3ds consoles. They had 1 of the specific one I was looking for but a good varied collection overall, domestic and import. He didn't know the specifics of what I was looking for but it's so specific your won't really know unless you are a serious hobbyist. He asked me to teach him the difference when I picked out the one I had been searching for. He was friendly, professional and pretty well versed on the products and considering when I go to places like this people in his age group aren't very knowledgeable generally so I was overall impressed. He also gave me some $$ off for teaching him about the differences. *honestly it helps fair and standard price scaling* He also buys games and consoles so I will probably bring him some things to purchase off me, it's for building good faith bartering relationships and he seems like he's willing to haggle within reasonable means so a good consumer relationship with gentlemen like him is a must for any collector.

Fantastic experience: There is a large selection of video games, music in all formats (8-tracks, record, cds, cassette tapes), movies (VHS, DVD, Blue Ray), clothes, Legos, game systems, collectables, and memorabilia. From full-sized American Girl dolls in their original boxes to more Child's Play Chucky memorabilia than I have ever seen in one place, you will find things you didn't even know you were looking for. This is a hidden gem in the outskirts of Providence.

Fantastic experience: This place is fantastic . It has an indoor flea market vibe but cleaner & in the city. Wide variety of stuff including video games, movies, collectibles ,etc . Prices seem pretty good, i was impressed. The owner is super friendly & approached me at the door to welcome me. It's not far from the rt-95 & it's located near a Chinese restaurant that smelled great. I will definitely be back here soon.

Bought two LPs, one had the wrong album inside of the sleeve, and the other was sealed but very damaged. 100% on me for not doing the due diligence of checking them, but it's disappointing that these items would be for sale in the first place.

Fantastic experience: Very cool place. I sold some of my old PS1 and PS2 games in exchange for a Nintendo 3DS XL. The owner was a cool older guy who took time to speak with me about his store . I had a great overall experience and I would go back in search of retro games and Pokémon memorabilia. Definitely worth a visit if you’re into this type of stuff.

Fantastic experience: Great spot! The owner was very pleasant and courteous and the store is full of collectable items. I went there for vinyl records and they have quite a few. My only critique would be to grade your vinyls (VG, VG+, Mint, etc.) and price them accordingly. Alot of the vinyl was less than VG and they were asking $5.00 for it. Which is usually in a $1.00 bin in most stores. Vinyl shopper can be described in three categories: Audiophile Vinyl Collectors that only buy mint condition vinyl that they listen to in Hi-Fi equipment that is expensive, Memory Vinyl shoppers that buy an album that struck a memory from their childhood. But, Are not avid vinyl buyers, Then you have the Crate Diggers who buy records in bulk that might be anywhere from VG to Mint condition and it's usually used to gather instrumentation sounds and melodies to manipulate into something else to create your own music. I consider myself a Crate Digger and I spent $30.00 and the vinyl was not in great condition. Hopefully this advice is not taken wrong and is helpful. Nonetheless, I'm glad to see another shop that sells vinyl in Rhode Island.

Fantastic experience: I visited Back to the Future a few times and this is my honest review. They have a really great selection of video games ranging from Atari to the newest consoles. There is also a plethora of other vintage merchandise and products that go all the way back to the 1970s. There are just way too many different types of items sold at Back to the Future to list here in this review. It's worthwhile to note that there are a lot of boxed NES and Genesis games inside glass cases as well as many other unopened vintage items like figures and other collectables. They also have vinyl records, CDs, old magazines, and a whole room of VHS, DVD, and Blu-rays. This place is definitely worth a visit if you are into nostalgia and want to find some really neat items too pick up for your home. The older gentleman who runs the place is very kind and courteous. I would definitely recommend visiting this place if you're in the area. FIVE out of five stars.
