Negative experience: Manager is incredibly rude and condescending, dont go if you see him there (usually on launch days for games). They have snuck warranty onto my purchases 3 times now, and gotten snappy and rude when I returned it. They once tried to sneak a 25 dollar warranty on my switch 2 and when i refunded them and had them take it off, every visit since then theyve been rude snappy and petty. One time while figuring out how to use a giftcard they went "you dont do this often do you bud" in an almost condescending tone. They have also made sarcastic comments when i pick up games and the such, its mainly this manager and an employee that I haven't seen in months, so i assume they left for better things. you see a heavyset guy in some sort of retro game apparell and a beard, come back past 5 when he's likely not there or just another day. The other location on east broadway is miles kinder and more accomodating. Better to go there.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a customer and friend of this store/company since I moved here in 2008. They’ve always treated me with respect, and I’ve befriended everyone there, both past and present. I was even fortunate enough to meet an employee from Nintendo. For most of my childhood, I tried to get a job there. If they had hired me 14 years ago, I’d probably own the store.

Negative experience: Nobody answer the phone there.

Positive experience: It's a pretty average mall gamestop - nothing exceptional here. They have good deals from time to time though, which is why I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 3. The only problem I've seen with them is that they don't always have that many plushes from relevant properties in stock, instead usually mostly carrying generic ones that I'm not really interested in anyways. There are other criticisms too of course about things like trade in value and such, but those are from Gamestop corporate, so I'm not going to judge this specific location too harshly on it. If you like gamestop, this one is OKAY - if you don't, just stay away.

Fantastic experience: Went in today to deal with an issue with a pre order bonus. I called ahead and they sorted it out and I was able to pick up the missing bonus item and both employees were excellent to interact with. The Broadway store was rude and basically had horrible customer service when I dealt with them. One cashier was willing to help, the other cut us both off and was a little hostile. Glad the Bernadette store is still around. The employees are awesome here.

Negative experience: Was gonna go to GameStop in the mall to exchange my headphones I had under warranty so I call ahead make sure they got them and dude said they were out but I would still have to come in and they can order them that will be 1-3 days and I said I’m actually gonna call the other ones if they did and he said he checked and they didn’t but I didn’t trust that and I called anyway and they did… terrible service

Fantastic experience: I went in to this gamestop to buy a nintendo switch used i talked with Allison and she helped me find the right switch for me she listened and gave her honist feedback and didnt oversell us she was very professional and understanding of my budget there is a gamestop that i can walk to from my house but if i ever need anything im going to go back to this gamestop in the mall just because its nice to have an employee that is kind and professional and knows what there doing i strongly suggest going to this gamestop because they truly know what there doing thank you allison

Fantastic experience: My 14 yo asd son had his first date, and took her where they both felt comfortable... the mall/ gamestop! The 2 gentleman were patient with him, his friend, and his gf and helpful. They purchased a game, then learned of a deal..he went and priortized, returned the game to get the buy 2, get 2, to include the game that they returned and a hat for his gf. You never seemed to mind. Thank you! (I was the mom on the mall bench, keeping distance).

Negative experience: Not there during posted hours and no explanation as to why. How do people pick up orders if nobody is there and no explanation as to why? No way to leave a message anywhere phone just hangs up on you after 4 rings. Poor execution. Also Employees clearly rate on Google to offset earned negative reviews.

Positive experience: Edit: I got called 2 weeks after and said they were able to get me a launch ps5. Changed rating from 1 star to 3. Tried to preorder a PS5 for 3 weeks and despite going there at opening multiple times when told they would never take my preorder. The first time I was told they only got 12 systems and they somehow got sold before the store even opened that day. The 2nd time I was told it was 1st come, 1st served so got to the mall at 9am and was 5rh in line..I was given a ticket and told there were only 8. Waited until 3pm until buying a giftcard at the managers recommendation so he could put in the preorder when able. Got called the next day and said they arent getting PS5s and I can be put on a list. Now I dont even have the gift card or a PS5. Ridiculous. Go somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: This GameStop is truly the best GameStop I have ever been to. The store may be small, but it has a comforting atmosphere and almost never feels cramped. In most cases, it is very simple to find what you are looking for here and it never feels messy or unorganized. The best part is the employees (especially Jennifer and the owner, Bryon) because many times they have impressed me many times by doing the best they can to make sure I get the best deal and make as easy and quick as possible(They even remember me and my sisters name). Also, they have a pre ordering process that is much easier than stores like Target or Best Buy because instead of making me use a credit card or buy a gift card, I can just say what I want to pre-order, give them my phone number and address(and they may remember that info if you come often), and pay what I need to pay and you can even pay off that pre order gradually unlike other stores. They may have some ridiculous policy's (like that you can't use their powerup reward points on gift cards), but I think the outstanding customer service and their comfortable environment keeps my experience a 5 star and keep in mind this is a review for this store, not GameStop as a whole. Overall this GameStop receives a Medal of Honor because of the many amazing experiences I have had here and would recommend this place to anyone shopping for video games or anything game related.

Negative experience: We had a horrible experience at this GameStop. We bought a refurbished xbox 360 and it had serious issues. It obviously had not been refurbished correctly. This was not this individual GameStop's fault but how they handled our return was. We originally were going to swap it out for a new one at this store, but decided against it after the service we received. The woman that handled our return was blatantly rude. She said that "they really don't care" about the game cases being broken when being sold, she said it was "her problem, not ours" with an attitude when we asked for a return instead of an exchange, and just generally had a terrible attitude. We will not be returning to this GameStop for anything.

Fantastic experience: Jeremy and Jen are GREAT!!! Been doing business at this location for over 10 years. When I walk in they know my name, 9 out of 10 times they don't even have to ask for my phone number to look up my account. They are always great with customers, but I think Jeremy should dress up in a Pikachu costume and let people throw pokeballs at him... I'll miss my Gamestop when I move though! :(

Positive experience: The service is great and so are the people. Have never run into a bad employee. They're always very knowledgeable and willing to help. The only thing I hate is they sell you a game full price, then if you return it (used) they give you 1% back, then proceed to put it back on the shelf for full price. (That's the company though, not the store).
