Fantastic experience: The girl that works there is very sweet and helpful! This is the best GameStop I have visited. The staff are knowledgeable and dedicated to helping and providing the best possible service to customers!
Negative experience: lazy , didn’t want to buy my perfectly fine xbox series s , I could tell as soon as i walked in , the girl has a attitude, made up that the “xbox won’t connect to their internet “ LOL , never had a problem there until today , also first time meeting that staff

Fantastic experience: To be honest, I was a long-time customer of GameStop since I was in Guam 2015 And it's been 10 years I like the way they handle things, and they are so very nice, not like 4 months ago Due to an accident that there is an employee shout at me! Because I asked about my order then he asked me to go inside near his cash register Luckily I know what his trying to do I reported him at there HR about that accident

Negative experience: I stopped by after work to see if the have any more pokemon destined rival tin can. The old man that works there said that, he already sold the last one to the guy right before me. less than a minute later another guy came in and ask for the tin can that he told the old man to save for him and handed him a pokemon destined rival tin can. The old man was supporting that scalper that came after me because the guy literally told the old man that he just went to vacaville gamestop and bought a lot of destined rival tin can before stopping by fairfield gamestop.
Negative experience: We literally stood outside for 2 hours for the gamestop associates to tell us that they were catering to people who bought the Nintendo switch 2 the day of midnight release rather than the pre order customers being a high priority. This was such a disorganized release and it should have been made clear to the pre order customers that we weren't going to be able to get our consoles until the next day due to the store closing at 10pm....yet they stayed open for the customers that purchased the console the day of release. I shouldn't have to wait until the next day if I pre ordered it. Pre orders should always be a high importance especially if you're telling me that I can pick it up on midnight release. Such a bad experience with gamestop.

Fantastic experience: Nice clean store, well organized, and knowledgeable staff. Bought a game for myself and a fun markdown action figure. I had also visited several months ago and also purchased a game. Will pop by on my next visit to Fairfield.
Negative experience: Went there recently to preorder some games where we met the new manager/employee that wears glasses (Don't have his name). He tried to help us, but said that he couldn't find the game that we were looking for, but it was for preorder on their website, we showed him the game cause he kept saying that game wasn't showing and coming up as something else. He then got frustrated at us cause he refused to type in the keyword, he kept looking up "Nintendo" and told us to come behind the counter and look for it ourselves. This was my go to spot for GameStop for a while until this employee started to work here. Every time I went and he was there he was rude, didn't ever want to answer questions and told us to do his job for us in a sarcastic manner. GameStop should look into his behavior and retrain him or let him go, he seems to not want to work there by how he treats customers. I refuse to go to this GameStop as long as this employee is working here.

Negative experience: Before visiting this store, I called to inquire about their policy regarding an online promotion: spending $250 qualifies for a $25 discount upon in-store pickup. The representative assured me that they indeed honor this promotion. Regrettably, despite my preference for this particular store due to its stock availability, my experience upon arrival was profoundly disappointing. The only representative present is the person in the image, demonstrating an unacceptable level of rudeness and lack of professionalism. So I approached him with the intention of showing the items I wished to purchase on my phone, I was met with a curt response: "whatever we have on the wall, that's it." This attitude displayed a complete disregard for customer service. I ignored the attitude and proceeded to locate the items myself, noting that they were also on sale. Upon bringing them to the counter, the total rang up to $277, entitling me to the $25 discount, thus totaling $252, consistent with the amount displayed on my phone. Politely, I inquired whether the discount had been applied. In response, he dismissively retorted, "you already have plenty of discounts." I reiterated that the items were on sale, attempting to show him the expected total on my phone. However, he exhibited no interest in assisting or even acknowledging my concern. Abruptly, he became confrontational, stating, "Do you want them or not? If not, just get out of my store!" Confused by this sudden turn of events, I questioned why the advertised promotion on their website was not being honored. His response was to begin removing the items from the counter and proceeding to serve the next customer. Subsequent research revealed similar accounts of poor customer experiences with the same individual. Whether this location operates as a franchise or not, whether he is the manager or the owner, such behavior is wholly unacceptable in a retail environment. It is disappointing to witness such a disregard for the principles of customer service, particularly in an establishment aimed at providing entertainment for children. I implore @GameStop to take appropriate action regarding this individual. To save yourself a day, I advise against visiting if you encounter this person behind the counter.
Fantastic experience: Just dropped by GameStop after work to look for a couple of action figures and found the two I was looking for. Gretchen was helping me. She is always friendly and helpful the times I’ve gone into the store and she was working. She actually remembered me and my son which was nice. It was unfortunate the last couple of days the store has been short handed due to staffing issues but despite that Gretchen was still very friendly.
Positive experience: Store was clean but manager and customer were arguing about PlayStation power cables and the cops got called. Do NOT ask about PlayStation power cables here.
Fantastic experience: Gretchen is very nice and very helpful. She was able to help me with alot of things including the problem i had with my trade credits. Life saver there. I prefer the gamestop in fairfield, the people there are always nice and give me a refereashing smile. Always ask if i need help and gives me a uptight positive attitude, especially Gretchen.
Negative experience: Went back to exchange my headset out for a new one because I had a 1 year warranty and the employee told me I need my receipt which I didn’t because I had talked to the manager and he told me I didn’t need one.I came in today and same issue they won’t let me exchange my headset out.The employee is not well trained at all.
Positive experience: Okay experiences here. They usually have everything in stock. Sometimes the staff are just too swamped to help everyone in the store. Other times they are busy with stock and stuff. It's a hit or miss experience for me.

Positive experience: Good prices, good selection of consoles, accessories, games new and used. Customer service was geeky but nice. If you need something quick or just don't want to wait, and/or have questions and the answers are not online, this is the place to go. Large parking lot, it is not a first thing in the morning store.

Negative experience: Went into GameStop looking for a One Piece Funko. After being there and looking around for a while an employee came towards the shelves and pulled out one that he had hidden for a customer. After the customer asked if they get chase funkos the employee said that if there were any he would take them. I left shortly after overhearing this. Safe to say I probably won’t come into this gamestop anymore.

Negative experience: Went to the store around 1:30 in the after noon on a Thursday and the door was locked. I waited around and nobody came so then I ordered what I needed for pick up and waited around for like an hour after I ordered went to check at the store they hadn't received the information on their end yet. Then they couldn't find all of the items that came with the Xbox One X so they said it would probably be a coumore hours until it was ready. Made the 10 minute trip home and 10 minutes after getting it was ready so then had to go all the way back. Kind of annoying.

Negative experience: I went into GameStop Fairfield,Ca and there was a woman near the door as I walked in. I believe she was doing inventory not sure though. I said hello and she didn’t reply. I said hello to the guy Nick who was behind the counter and he didn’t reply either. I’ve never seen either of these people there and I visit GameStop a lot and make purchases all the time. Nick wouldn’t let me use my Klarna, sezzle or QuadPay as I do whenever I’m at GameStop and he and the woman both gave me unwelcome vibes. I promised myself not to purchase if I ever return and see either of them again. I’m normally greeted by a gentleman that’s normally there and I haven’t caught his name but he usually opens the store has great customer service and he’s very helpful and a multitasker. Nick I believe is a lead and he deserves no stars.
