Negative experience: Mark stuff expensive prices but will offer like 10 bucks in store credit for my PS4 and some games went to go buy a Remote Charger Stand for 40 bucks, brought it home didn't work lost the receipt, they only said I can return it for barely any store credit, they keep bothering me about their dumb Membership that milks my pockets every month for barely a few cents off something when I barely go there

Fantastic experience: Jared was amazing! I had an issue with a Christmas present that was sent by my dad they sent the wrong counsel from Virginia customer service said I could come in exchange the wrong item for store credit and basically eat the cost difference. I came into the store after a long battle with customer service and he did everything he could to make it right!

Negative experience: I walked in the store to sell my PlayStation 4 the minute that I stepped foot in the side of the building the gentleman said yeah we close at 7:00 the time at the moment was 5:54 he said we stopped doing tests on PlayStation and things like that take it to the South store they'll take it from you

Fantastic experience: All im going to say is Chett is an example of customer service and going above and beyond and Gamestop best recognize him and his kindness. I cant seem seem to contact customer support via the Telephone number provided on the companies website it rings and then goes to a busy signal fix it.

Positive experience: Customer service here is very good... I have to add, I was in today to pick up a xbox one s and left with a xbox series s and a pro membership, and felt good about it. Alleck and Kris... WOW Amazing customer support :) I would give these guys a 5 star. When you look at their service and the prices and everything, then I give it a 4 star, but WOW.... Fantastic experience: Just want to give a big thanks to the staff at this GameStop (especially Chet and Aleck)!!! I was after some collectibles during a sale and they helped get some from a neighboring store so I could maximize the sale. Really appreciate all the help they gave me!!! 5 stars for sure!!!

Negative experience: Apparently you guys don’t know the difference between Cold War and call of duty 2 I got a 20 cod point card and have the guy a call of duty one then on the recite said Cold War like come on at least try to be good at your job I’m never going there again and do not trade games to GameStop 22 dollars store credit like come on it was a white guy wiht glasses and mess up up teeth

Negative experience: I'm actually so irate at GameStop now I had to leave a review. I've been looking forward to the Diablo 4 release for weeks. I preordered through them for the steelbook as part of their deal. Apparently buying it online made it so the physical edition shipped to my house. I called SEVERAL times to make sure this was okay. I first called 3 weeks in advance, and was told to call the week of release, which I did. I told the woman I spoke to that it was getting shipped to my house and she told me not to worry and she would take care of it, but that stock is limited and it's first come first serve. So I take release day off OF WORK to make sure that I'm there right away to get the steelbook. Which I was. There was only one other woman there walking around the store with her children. The clerk that I talked to told me "I'm sorry I only have enough steelbooks for those who purchased in store." I proceeded to tell him that I talked to his coworker last week and she said it would be taken care of. He proceeds to look at something and say that he doesn't have any notes on that and that he can't help me. Now not only do I NOT have the steelbook, my preorder says "waiting for availability" AND I can't even cancel it at the moment. I would give GameStop 0 stars if I could right now. They will never get my business again and I will not recommend them to absolutely anyone.

Negative experience: Worst Gamestop around. Stephen is such a terrible store lead. For a dying company, I can't believe how terribly he treats his staff and customers. He charged me for a product in which I showed him went through on my bank account but refused to let me leave unless he charged me again (over $300). Now I have to deal with GameStop customer service. Absolutely do not recommend this Gamestop.

Fantastic experience: In the past I would have given gamestop 1 star, but recently it has improved a lot! The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the store has a great selection now. I like that they finally carry pc accessories and stuff.

Positive experience: We went there to get some xbox 1 games and their selection was decent. The games are all in very good condition and the staff are super knowledgeable. Their prices are comparable with ebay or amazon and you don't have to guess with these games if your are going to get one that is all beat up or in decent condition.

Negative experience: Over a month ago I pre-ordered a game for my son. When I pre-ordered the game I did not get a 'pick up by when' date and I put down a five dollar deposit. I came in today to pick up said game, and I found out that apparently someone had already picked up and purchased the game under my name and there were no more in stock. Ari was very nice to refund my five dollars to me, however the pre-ordered this game for my son for Christmas and now it is not in stock anywhere in the state or online. They said they are suppose to check for ID's and my account did not say who picked it up, just the date it was picked up. This is frustrating and seems to be a bit scary if anyone can come pick up a game using your phone number if they overhear you pre-ordering a game in the store.

Positive experience: They push the subscription service way too hard even though I told the guy I don't go to GameStop more than once a year. It was honestly pretty annoying and made the transaction take way longer than it needed to. Also, used games here are only $2 cheaper than new... Why the hell would I pay $38 for a used, possibly not working correctly game that I could pay $40 for a brand new version of??? No wonder gamestop's slowly going out of business...

Positive experience: Edit: the store manager personally called me about that problem I had with my blizzard balance card. He told me in to come into the store and he would resolve the issue. He was very professional, apologized, and issued me a new card. Great job!! The shift manager could have been more professional. I asked for the store manager when trying to resolve the issue and the shift manager said they were. They said take your problem to corporate or Blizzard there is nothing I can do. When in reality they could have said that they don't have permission to fix a problem like this and only the store manager and regional manager can fix this.

Negative experience: UPDATE....THEY DID IT AGAIN...PUT OUT POPS BEFORE THEY COULD SELL THEM!! I WOULD RECOMMEND NOT GOING TO THIS GAMESTOP!!! OTHER ONE IN TOWN IS BETTER!!! Too bad you cant give ZERO STARS!! I will NEVER go back to this gamestop again! We picked out a few items when we wanted went up to pay and were VERY RUDELY told that the stuff was "street dated" so they couldn't sell it!!!! Then WHY was it on your shelf and WHY BE SO RUDE???

Positive experience: Love the store despite its issues as a whole(not this specific store). Even on Black Friday(today) they got everyone through the lines quickly and efficiently while still being polite and professional. The ONLY reason i didnt give five stars is due to the franchise as a whole, this particular store(Rochester Crossing) id give 5 stars

Fantastic experience: These guys always know how to take care of customers without being pushy, overbearing, or sales focused (even though their corporate superiors want them to be pushy sales reps). This truly is the one place for the core gamer to shop for their games. Usually it's the locally-owned, smaller game store that focuses on the needs and wants of a hardcore gamer, but both the Gamestops in Rochester prove that a smaller game store would go out of business here.

Positive experience: Gamestop is looking more and more lonely as time has gone on. There's nothing necessarily wrong with this Gamestop in particular, but it is smaller than the north one, forcing if to focus more on games. The issue is that less people go to Gamestop than ever before and digital distribution is killing the company as a whole. Still good for getting a few used games cheap, but the same problems Gamestop has always had is also here.

Positive experience: A very nice place with mostly any game you need! It is a smaller store and when they try to fit in all this stuff that isn’t games it feels even smaller. Sometimes the line is INCREDIBLY slow, this is due to sometimes not enough to workers on shift but if you’re at this GameStop you will hope that nobody is in front of you. Otherwise great place with a ton of games and mostly great workers!

Negative experience: It is not a place I would recommend going to if you are buying a new game and if you were buying a used game I would recommend buying off eBay because if you encounter the store manager Stephen he will ask you a bunch of corporate questions that are not necessary and the normal game advisor Jon is not that nice, I would only buy something there if it was a pre-order and I would make sure if Daniel Anthony or been was working that I would buy something
