Negative experience: It's been awhile since I have been to this location. It was a mess! Trash on the sales floor, didn't look like they have swept or vacuumed in weeks. Product everywhere. Wasn't greeted, no one asked if I needed any help till I was standing in line. I remember when this store was jammed with people but the staff still took the time to stop unpacking boxes, leave the counter and have a conversation with the guests that came in. And what's with the cardboard boxes on the floor filled with random crap. I almost tripped over one of them. Nothing was organized. Very disappointed
Fantastic experience: Jairo Vasquez is the absolute GOAT when it comes to game recommendations. I walked into GameStop with no idea what I was looking for—just vibes, y’know? And boom Jairo swoops in like a gaming guru sent from the future, and instantly starts helping me with a level of energy that could only be described as the definition of hype. He didn’t just recommend games. Nah, this man dove deep into my soul like he was scanning my brain with a high-powered gaming radar. He asked about my gaming history, my vibes, my mood, the texture of my inner gamer. It was like a spiritual experience. I was like “uhh I don’t know maybe something chill” and he was like, “BRO, I got you.” He pulled out the perfect game for me, like a wizard pulling a fireball out of his pocket.
Negative experience: Gamestop is offering PSA grading cards service. I sent in 3 Cards a Kobe Bryant, Patrick Mahomes (Short Print) and Cam Ward Bowman Chrome. GameStop calls 2 months later and says cards were lost and offered me $8 for the value of the 3 cards. I will never use GameStop for PSA grading again.
Negative experience: WARNING TO ALL COLLECTORS !!!! We had a HORRIBLE experience with GameStop’s customer service when we submitted our cards for PSA grading. Several members of our household sent in their cards through GameStop, and from the very start, the process was riddled with issues. First off, the customer service was absolutely terrible. The staff was unprofessional, unhelpful, and seemed completely uninterested in resolving our concerns. It felt like they were deliberately evasive, and they did not offer any transparency about the status of our cards. Every time we reached out for updates or clarification, we were met with silence or vague responses. It’s incredibly frustrating when companies act this way, especially when dealing with valuable items. To make matters worse, we suspect they don't want to provide clear email updates because they are worried about being "called out" for their mistakes — which in our case, involved the alleged loss of our cards in transit. This is unacceptable. Customers should never have to deal with this level of incompetence and dishonesty, especially when sending valuable items for grading. Based on our experience, we would strongly advise against using GameStop for PSA submissions. If we could give zero stars, we would. WARNING to other collectors: This is NOT the place to submit your cards! Do yourself a favor and go directly through PSA or find a more professional, reliable service to handle your submissions. Trust us, you do not want to go through the headache we’ve experienced.
Negative experience: Would be a 1 star, but the store is clean, stocked & staff is friendly. It's just . . . These stores are worse than a pawn shop. Took in a brand new Xbox Series X controller, just bc I have 5, and was offered $4. FOUR dollars for a $60 controller. It is used, yes. But, really? I watched the employee do the test and he told me it was defective, after watching it pass. Said stick drift, which it didn't have. Asked him to show me again and he was basing this "drift" off of a slight line in the directional bar that was there bc he bumped the stick. It didn't happen again when I asked him to repeat the test. So he kept repeating the test, I guess trying to get a result with drift - didn't happen. Still refused to accept it without the defective status, so I kept it. If it was defective why would they buy it at all? Replacing the sticks involves desoldering & resoldering very small connections (I've done it) and it's very hard. It would cost far more just in labor to fix a defective controller than they sell for new. Makes no sense, other than the business model similar to a pawn shop - taking advantage of people. Offering them next to nothing for things that they don't need but still have value then marking it up 10 fold. It works bc most people that sell things here are desperate for cash or are children who don't work for their $ hence have no sense of value for it.

Positive experience: It's a good place to shop but I wish they updated there store hours so we aren't walking in while they close.
Negative experience: Came in to pick up an order at the Northridge location and couldn't even get what I paid for. They said it was canceled, when it clearly says on my app that it's in progress. If your system is buggy, don't offer using it. That easy! I called the manager here at the harden ranch location and she said that the system canceled my order and to call support. When calling support, they couldn't even get to me because of an hour wait time and hung up on me due to that. Horrible customer experience and service! Gamestop used to be great!
Negative experience: Only 2 workers. Only one of them working while the other just sat & looked at the computer screen. Saw a few people leave because of how long they were taking to help costumers out

Fantastic experience: There was this employee there named Brandon and he was extremely nice, and cool. And he treated me like a best friend, rather than just a normal customer. Take it from me, that man deserves a raise, or some sort of promotion for his amazing work.

Negative experience: Asked to put a certain nintendo 3ds on hold a while back. I went to the store I gave them my name and the lady who I think is one of managers there gave me the wrong system. I told her that's not the one and she blamed me and said well you put the wrong item on hold even though I clearly know what I said and didn't even talk to her on the phone earlier. Anyways I don't know if she was having a bad day or something but she kept talking to me in a rude tone the whole transaction. Especially when I told her I didn't want to sign up to be a gamestop member. I'm not the only one who has problems with her my friend has told me she talks very rude to customers at times. Customer service can be better.
