Fantastic experience: 1st time stopping by this Gamestop, I noticed that they were out of Dragonball packs. Jessica was super awesome and went out of her way to get more of them for me. That was superb customer service. Thank you so much Jessica that made my weekend.

Negative experience: When you buy a gift card to a store for your grandchildren to buy games for Christmas you expect them to be able to purchase whatever is in that store. GameStop does not honor this. Apparently they don’t allow you to buy any digital games even though they sell them. Who ever heard of a store not accepting their own gift cards. I will never buy another thing at GameStop such a disappointment.

Fantastic experience: I genuinely never leave google reviews, this might be my first. I met Dominic today and he was the coolest and most helpful person. Whatever he’s making he should be making double, that guy could sell sand at a beach. That dudes a winner and so is this store, keep it up.

Fantastic experience: I just want to say wow. This store has upped its game, and not at the hand of GameStop. Dom was helping a ridiculous amount of customers ranging from difficult to chill. While I waited in line it was instantaneous the way his work ethic and character was beaming outward at work. The dude is personable and knowledgeable but also incredible quick to help you out. AND ADMIT WHEN HE MADE A MISTAKE. I can’t reiterate this enough: I’ve had mixed emotions about this game stop since I moved her 5 years ago. Dom needs a raise, recognition and eventual promotion. This dude made my shopping trip an experience and community activity. Going so far as to chat with me and two other customers about the last ronin, something he wasn’t even familiar with! I don’t know what the training codes and guidelines are like at GameStop, but if they’re anything other than what Don was doing they’re falling short of greatness. Get this man some recognition!! 10/10 will be shopping only at the liberty store thanks to Dom. Honorable mention: he did a great job selling pro as a solution to a problem rather than a product. This dudes going places

Fantastic experience: Went in today to see if they had a Nintendo switch 2 and my son was in luck. The man working there (receipt says his name was Seth) gave a lot of great advice for setting it up and linking it to his old switch. I'm actually really glad the other places we looked at didn't have it in stock because this guy was so knowledgeable and helpful.

Negative experience: Monday June 23 I tried to call from 12:35pm to 1:00pm when I finally decided to go to the store there was a note on the door that said “bathroom break” and the store was clocked and there was also another customer that said he had been waiting outside atleast 10 minutes….

Fantastic experience: I stopped in yesterday, 1-3-25. I was looking to purchase a copy of "GTA-V." The two gentlemen working offered great customer service. As I didn't catch the name of the employee who sold me, the game was very helpful. As earlier in the day, I had attempted to deal with Vintage-Stock, but their service was extremely poor. Any other video game needs that I need to make purchases for, I'll definitely use Game-Stop in Liberty, Mo.

Negative experience: i buy time card blizard, this card dont work,(i have account differrent country) , i ask if problem i can return? - casher tell me YES, i come in different states - game stop- he check card, tell me we cant return - REAL ? casher dont know rules? -OR lie to me.... Fantastic experience: I was having some problems trying to exchange my headset at the Creekwood location. So I went up here to this location and Emmy the manager there resolved all of my problems. She’s an awesome manager and I recommend going here for your GameStop needs!

Negative experience: You let me get a gift receipt for a pokemon chest, but when I came back with all receipts said it's non-refundable because it falls under trading cards. Would be nice to know at the time of purchase, and should not give a gift receipt for an item if the item cannot be returned. Super unhelpful store.

Negative experience: Ordering from this store is what nightmares are made of! Because they were short staffed on Sunday, their ONLY staff was 1 Lady who had to close the store down just to take a lunch break, the door dash driver cancelled my order because they thought the store was closed for the day! So I called the store with the door dash customer care and tried to get it reshipped but the girl just said she was by herself with no one else to cover and closed the store down temporarily. This caused my whole order to be cancelled! Very frustrating! Get more people! That's just poor management and poor payroll!

Negative experience: I’d be careful if you shop here. They just tried to pull a bait and switch. I picked up a game from the shelves in the store that was labeled “ New for $39.99” but during check out when the clerk took the box to the counter behind the register to get the cartridge he swapped the box for one that was labeled “pre-owned $54.99”. And rung that up. Thankfully I remembered what I saw on the box when shopping and noticed that the employee had placed the original box on the back counter under another game box. I called them out on it and they gave me the refund for difference but they were very non-apologetic. I don’t know if this was accidental but it did NOT feel that way.

Negative experience: Still going downhill, never have the game I'm looking for, they always tell me it's at another store then when I show up to other store they tell me the store I just came from has it in stock. Don't go here. You will have a better time and luck somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: We are novice game stop people. Not gamers by any means. Simply buying presents for our 5 and 3 year olds. Sebastian was so good. Explained things as we were clueless on the system and was never annoyed by my questions. He deserves a raise for sure.

Negative experience: I have brought two Nintendo Switch from here... Less then two months both are not working...I have warranty on both... While I trying to get the replace let's say GameStop is selling products that aren't in they system. When scanning the serial number is not showing up but My warranty for this product is on file. Make it make sense to me... I yet they think this is cool.. I wouldn't advise any shopping their to buy their pre owned anything... I have plenty spend of money at this location but not no more... I stay with Walmart for now.. The man working here is unborther by my situation at all... I wish region manager would reach out to me... I have alot of negative things to say about my experience with this. I having to wait on another employee from another store to come assistance because this employee doesn't know how to do his job.. Sad day for GameStop.. Please stop treating your Black African American customers so badly... If I was white I had it replace with no problem but I spent about $700.00 on these purchases and to stand this customer service you better know I boycott this store with my dollars... #stopdiscriminationGameStop

Negative experience: The new management running this store is not capable of running a business. Empty promises are made, we’ve caught her telling different people in my group completely different info on the same day. I’m STILL owed items I PRE-ORDERED and am yet to receive them 5 months later. When telling them that was BS I was hung up on and now they won’t even answer my calls. So they can avoid calls but couldn’t place them about the items I already paid for being in stock and being sold to customers. Was told the manager had been out for 2 weeks with Covid but my friends were then told she’d be out the next two weeks with it. Also was told they didn’t have battery packs in (an item I pre ordered) but my friends were told they did. I spent over $800 at this location to be screwed around the entire time. I’ll drive 30 min out of my way to never to go this location ever again.

Negative experience: Worst GameStop in the Kansas City area. Poorly managed. Jenna the manager is in over her head & more concerned with smoking cigarettes right in front of the store than helping customers. Was sold a broken Series X with a pointless warranty they refused to honor. On top of everything else the Xbox I was sold and the Xbox serial numbers on my receipt did not match. AVOID THIS LOCATION. Anytime I would call I was either given the run around or my call was ignored all together. The GameStop location on Noland road was more than helpful and will be where I take all of my business for now on.

Fantastic experience: 1st 2 games we choose were out. I admit I was upset. I wanted to leave.The tall darkhaired young lady took the time to help us out(I am bad at names sorry). She spoke with me, instead of getting upset. She did all she could to help us each time. The 3rd was a go. She was so pleasant and sweet. I have to say that just speaking to such a calm ,kind person really made my day! She makes it 5 stars store. You guys are so lucky to have such a great employee. This is a go to store!

Negative experience: Very disappointed in how the new manager runs her business. We have been on a list waiting on new product for several weeks. We have called her weekly checking to see if they will continue to call customers on the list. She confirmed this each time. However, once she received a shipment she changed her mind to first come first serve. Lieing to your customers week after week is a good way to keep them.

Negative experience: Never gave me a receipt, never logged my purchase into the system, and now stuck with a game we won’t play because I can’t return it. They don’t care. Don’t do business with a company that focuses on screwing you over on purchases and trade ins. Also signed us up for Rewards Pro, didn't give me the promised discount and is now claiming the only way to get it or cancel the program is to go back to the store. What a joke.

Fantastic experience: I went there and got 2 games. One of the games I got only had one disc, and was supposed to have two discs. I was pretty disappointed. I went back the next day, and the staff was very nice & fixed the issue right away. They were very professional and made things right.

Positive experience: I usually have a good experience here, but went in the other day to pay for a pre-ordered game. But come to find out they pre-ordered a digital download for me. Seriously??? Who goes to there to pre order a digital code?? On top of that the pre-orders for the game were closed and couldn't be done anymore. The employee just said sorry you're out of luck, nothing I can do about it now. Ended up cancelling my order.
