Fantastic experience: Stop by this location switch 2 opening day and had no problems trading in my oled switch to the new switch 2 . The store clerk Stephan was nice enough to help my kids transfer their old files to the switch 2 while showing them how to operate the new switch . Overall great experience. Thanks again !

Fantastic experience: This is a cool GameStop. I don’t have to go here often as I have one much closer to me, but I was able to snag a Switch 2 (base model) preorder plus some accessories which was great!! It’s not the Mario Kart World Bundle, but I’ll get MKW eventually. Never had any problems whenever I come here! :)

Negative experience: I’ve been a consistent customer of game stop since the early 2000s. I’ve never been handled or talked to the way the male manager/ employee talked to me today. I’m a very happy person. The guy came from the back, looked me up and down. Barely greeted me until I spoke to him. I honestly didn’t know if he worked there. I went in to trade a barely used ps5 to purchase a Nintendo switch along with a plethora of game’s and accessories to gift my 5 yr old for being promoted to the 1st grade. The horrible customer started when my ps5 wouldn’t hook up to their/ game stops’ computer monitor at the register. The guy told me I need to drive home or he will charge me $30-$40 to hook it up to the tv in the store to change settings. The Guy talked at me to provoke an altercation vs talking to me as a customer to understand him. I asked why don’t they have a tv to plug the systems up just like another store has. He and the other two employees kept rudely cutting me off instead of allowing me to talk. I don’t believe he is happy working there. I believe this guy needs to be promoted to customer. He’s leading the other employees in the wrong direction. Went home to do as they said. And they didn’t give me back my power cord. Went there and yet again he tried to insult my intelligence by telling me to ,”have a great day,” instead of see you when u get back. The store likely should do an entire refresh of happy employees. As a multiple business owner I find it unacceptable and will like a call from his/ their hire ups or store owner if not corporate please.

Negative experience: Walked in selected the game I wanted handed it to the cashier. He proceeded to look for less than 5 seconds, turned to me and said, I can't find it. Mind you, he was huffing and puffing when I walked past him and still huffing and puffing when I handed him the game. Apparently having a bad day! I've been to gamestop many times, sometimes the person did have a little difficulty finding the game but searched high and low for it. Just a big waste of my time, i guess I'll go try another location. This is the algiers gamestop.

Negative experience: Came in to purchase a ps5 controller , I was charged for the pro membership even after saying I was not interested. I called customer service spoke to supervisor Pablo and went in store to try to get a refund before the 48 hour mark. No one could help me, not even the manager in store . Shameful customer service.

Fantastic experience: I always go to GameStop for my POP needs...I happened to miss the GodSpeed character for my DC collection and mentioned it to the sales person...he went far beyond my expectations...he checked around and managed to locate it in New York or Washington and have it shipped to New Orleans...It came at regular price & was a limited edition, which is awesome. Cudos for the customer service and rounding out my collection with this unique character

Negative experience: Went in to do a return. Initially the cashier was nice but the moment I said I was making a return he then got loud and had an attitude. Asked why I was making a return, I stated my personal preference about the console and he tried to insult my intelligence in front of other customers. My goal is not to hurt the GS business. I've been a customer for almost 20 years. The goal here is to prevent other loyal customers from snapping on your employees. I dont know his name. I dont care to know it, but I do hold GS accountable for their employees.

They were friendly, outgoing, had a great sense of humor and didn't mind helping. Best customer service I've received from shopping at GameStop. Will definitely recommend this location to others!!!
