Fantastic experience: Came in not really sure what I was looking for but was able to ask one of the employees for help. Brooke was very helpful and very knowledgeable as well as very friendly. She helped me get what I needed and even helped me look at a few different options.
Negative experience: I had a frustrating experience at a GameStop location recently. I went in to trade in my Apple Watch because I needed some quick cash for gas. At the first store I visited, everything went smoothly—the employee checked the watch and gave me a quote with no issues. I just had to go home and grab my ID. Since I was low on gas, I decided to go to a closer GameStop instead. That’s where things changed. The employee there took my watch, went to the computer, and after a few minutes told me the system wasn’t working and that the serial number was “wrong.” This didn’t make sense because I had just had it checked at another location with no problems. When I tried to explain that, she started giving me inconsistent explanations, saying I shouldn’t have reset the watch and that I needed to pair it back to my phone. It felt like I was getting the runaround instead of a clear answer. I ended up going back to the original store, and they processed the trade-in without any issues at all. Overall, the experience at the second location felt unprofessional and unnecessarily difficult, especially compared to how simple it was at the first store. I hope GameStop can make sure their employees are consistent and transparent with customers.

Negative experience: Extremely disappointed with this GameStop location. And GameStop in general Our son purchased a gift card, with his Christmas money.... In store, only to find that the code did not work...When we returned to the store with the receipt (which was barely legible to begin with), the staff provided a code — which also did not work. After calling the store again and explaining the situation, we were told that they’ve had this problem before, yet they refused to refund the money or provide a working replacement. We were essentially told, “There’s nothing we can do, can't help you" Let that sink in: a business accepted money from a child, failed to provide a usable product, acknowledged prior issues, and still refused to make it right. That is unacceptable. To make matters worse, when we contacted corporate customer service, the representative was unable to effectively understand the issue, became rude, and hung up the call. So the end result? Money taken. No working product. No refund. No accountability. This feels like a systemic problem, with GameStop.. , not a one-off mistake. We will be filing a formal complaint with the Attorney General’s office, because consumers — especially kids — should not be left with “tough luck” after paying for a product they never received. Avoid purchasing gift cards here unless you are willing to risk losing your money from this location....
Fantastic experience: I had a unique problem with budget constraints and the woman I talked to (Julia) really helped me out and went above and beyond. She was aware of technical specs and offered several courses of action. I highly recommend this location.
Negative experience: I had one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I’ve ever had at this GameStop location. After waiting over 20 minutes just to be checked out, the employee who finally came over to the register (Julia) acted like helping me was an inconvenience instead of her job. The situation got worse when she tossed my brand-new game across the counter during checkout. I called her out on it because who wants their new purchase thrown around? And instead of acknowledging it, she responded with, “Well, your tone is rude.” I waited patiently despite the wait, only to be met with unprofessional behavior, attitude, and disrespect. A customer pointing out mishandling of merchandise should not be met with defensiveness or blame-shifting. GameStop needs to seriously address customer service at this location. I expect basic courtesy, especially when I’m spending money and have already waited far longer than I should have. This experience was unacceptable and definitely left a bad impression. Julia, you’re extremely miserable and it shows.

Negative experience: I come to this gamestop regularly as its the only retro branded gamestop in the area. Every time I have been the staff have been friendly, helpful, and interesting to talk to and have even pointed out games I might be interested in which I ended up purchasing. I recently bought an xbox 360 game record of agarest war. The disc inside the case is a bootlegged copy that just plays a video of the start up screen for xbox 360 games which is how I imagine this was missed when it was tested, if it was tested. The disc is very obviously a fake with blurred artwork on the front of the disc and a blue dvd tint on the back. I will be going to this location tomorrow in person to try and get a full refund or I will not be going back. The only reason I am giving this 2 stars and not 1 is because the staff is so fantastic, I will update my review depending on how tomorrow goes, If I get the refund as they should do since they sold me the incorrect product this will go significantly up to reflect their dedication to fixing a mistake. If they do not offer a refund or any kind of restitution this will go down to 1 and that will be the last time I step foot in that store.

Fantastic experience: This is by far my favorite GameStop! I've been to so many locations and this one blows any other one that I've seen out of the water. It's really large in comparison to other GameStops and the selection is huge. So many figures, socks, backpacks, shirts, games and even computer accessories and parts. I remember the first thing I recognized was the carpet. Very on theme and makes the place even better. Not to mention all of the deals GameStop constantly has to offer. Definitely worth it to get a membership. It pays for itself in two months if you go in just once a month. Being a pro member gets you $5 of in-store credit per month and it's only $15 to sign up, and after you sign up you get $5 credit immediately. There are also many benefits to being a pro. I can't recommend this location enough. The workers are always so helpful here and ive never seen it busy, so you almost always have their full attention. 9.5/10

A few days later, I decided to buy one for my good friend w/o his knowledge because he had to cancel his order at the last minute. I tried ordering it and the purchase wouldn't go through because of this stupid rule of one transaction (Xbox One S) per customer. Thanks,said no one ever.

Negative experience: Bought a used Xbox one controller, paid $48 for it. Get home which is down town Savannah only to find out that the X and B buttons were sticky, drove all the way back to this location to swap it out. They had no more wireless, so I settled for a wired, the Michael G was ready to check me out without even testing the controller so I asked him if I could test it out myself and he was hesitant to let me even check it out, I go to open the zip lock style bag and he told me I couldn't open it and to feel it through the bag so I felt it and low and behold the buttons were sticky as all get out, I decided to get a refund and go to Walmart. Got a brand new controller for $45. Game stop is a joke, I can't wait til Amazon plows y'all under.

They work fast to get you in and out as fast as possible while giving you information on things to come. I went there for a headset replacement, but there were no more in the store. She found me 4 other locations to find the same headset, but also offered me something just as good in the store. Great service I recommend you see a gamestop for your next video game purchase.
