Negative experience: I gave GameStop 1 star because, I know that a lot of kids under the age of 18 but and trade games all the time; and for them to require a California Identification is absurd!!! And I don’t respect that at all. Although, I feel like that get over on a lot of policy’s like when you buy a game for 59.99 and when you trade it you don’t get even half of that and this is supposed to be for kids!!!

Negative experience: The main manager was very rude and condescending in the was that he spoke me during our interaction he also almost let me but the wrong PlayStation card when I told him I wanted to the plus and he let me grab a points card luckily someone stopped me. I've talked to other people and theybhave also had bad experiences with this particular location specifically with the manager who just seems to want make it a hassle to purchase video games other then make sure his store is turning a profit.

Positive experience: It's GameStop, pretty typical, would be 5 stars but they had items on the wall that were not in stock and items without prices on them near the register and they workers didn't know they prices.

Fantastic experience: I called about a gift card which they found for me and kept until my arrival. Workers were these 2 nice guys- friendly knowledgeable very much not pushy, made me comfortable and ignored my total lack of knowledge relayed to modern consols, games and handhelds. they helped me tremendously in increasing my knowledge of current electronic games, didn't push any thing at me, answered questions enthusiastically despite the heat and afternoon feeling of lethargic indifference settling down upon the rest of lower Oakland. ill be back to get more game stuff and maybe get Nintendo once price gets to a reasonable level...

Positive experience: Nice store with well organized games. But some of the price stickers were misleading, they did not match with the actual price of the game. I bought a Nintendo 3DS game for $20, while expecting it to be $17 because that was the sticker price. I disappointed that I had to pay $3 more but overall satisfied with the good condition game.

He had a line of people waiting while he was testing some dude's PS4 waiting to buy games, and he was like I gotta diagnose this guys PS4 while the rest of you can watch. Has no idea of customer service, and is rude besides. He could've tested the PS4 when we had all bought our games on his own time, instead of making everyone wait with him. Total moron.
