Fantastic experience: They only had one person working and the line got backed up pretty quick but the employee was enthusiastic and very helpful!

Negative experience: Came here yesterday afternoon to buy a refurbished switch. It rang up as $202 under the account I wanted to use. The employee (Ashley, I believe?) was extremely persistent in saying it made much more sense for me to create a new account and that I would be charged no extra. She yammered on about discounts etc even after I said it's okay, I'm good. Eventually I gave in and said fine, if it gives perks without costing anything extra. Upon leaving I realize I've been charged an additional $25 for GameStop pro. I walk back in the store one minute later and ask for explanation. She gets nervous and stutters a bunch and says something like this: that's not extra, it's how we have to price it in the system with the switch, you weren't charged any extra, etc. I ask specifically if it was an upsell. She said no. I wasn't sure what I could do then; she was losing it a bit. I call my friend later who used to work at GameStop and he says: that was absolutely an upsell - she lied to you. I asked chatgpt to analyze my receipt as well and - shocker, it said the same thing. I couldn't believe someone could blatantly lie so easily and snake me into paying more than I was supposed to at a supposedly reputable store. I also don't understand the logic of upselling me with the intention of getting me into the store to buy games and accessories when you behave in a way that is malicious and deceitful. I will NOT be shopping here again. I'll find a locally owned business or shop on amazon. And if you're reading this: what was that? why not just come clean that you did something shady when I asked kindly so many times?

Positive experience: Doesn't always have the thing you want but what it lacks in stock, it has in atmosphere. It is truly a great place for those who wish to talk about games, find gaming accessories, and find your next physical disk adventure. Just be sure to keep your budget in mind as some of the prices will leave your wallet crying for mercy ;P

Negative experience: I waited in line for at least 45 minutes to trade in my PS4. One of their employees was 30 minutes late and their TV was not working to hook a console. The result is a showing of unpreparedness and disorganization of the store:(

Fantastic experience: Went in on a Saturday afternoon and it was busy. There were a ton of things to choose from. I really love all of the Halloween, Pokemon and Hello Kitty Squish Mallows. The gaming selections for Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo are great. Paying the extra for the Pro discount is awesome. It pays for itself after the second visit. A great store to visit

Negative experience: Small gamestop which isn't the problem. The customer service at this location sucks. I was asking the associate about the new assassin's creed comin out and he acted like he didn't want awnser questions or help me reserve a copy. He told me he didn't have time to awnser questions mind you I was 1 of 3 ppl in the store. He never told me to get out but didn't make me feel welcomed at all ended up not resevering a copy. Had to go somewhere else.

He's got long hair and is the single most knowledgeable source on video games and computer components I've ever known in the North Florida area. Negative experience: Very recently I attended Gamestop with my best friend in order to look at games for our Nintendo Switch. Upon entering the store I was greeted by an employee who gave me a paper that indicated the upcoming sales and offers and clarification of any questions. However, my greatest issue with my experience is that he completely ignored my best friend. There's no doubt in my mind that she was not given the same service as I was due to her gender. These decisions are part of the reason why women gamers often feel isolated or unwelcome into gaming communities and ignoring a customer based on their gender is a norm I will not support . I will no longer be shopping at this Gamestop and hope that you won't either until they make it clear that they value ALL customers.

Negative experience: They had the game we wanted. The store clerk suggested we get a Micro SD for the Switch game. We walked the mall and went back in asking if they had any of the cards and i was told they were sold out. We were looking more for somethibg else and i saw 4 boxes on the shelf for micro sd cards. I asked for the price on one of them and was told "were sold out completely" when asked why they have empty product on the shelf i was told "were required to display all of our products even if its out of stock." So in other words this Gamestop isnrequired to provide FALSE ADVERTISEMENT by having empty box product visible on the shelf even if they are sold out. Was told it was Corporate that requires it. @gamestop #gamestop

Negative experience: Will never shop at GameStop again. The store did an online order for me in December 2019 for a Christmas gift for my son since they were out of the item I wanted at the store. My son asked several times to confirm she was ordering a new and not a used product. She confirmed it was new. I paid extra for expedited shipping as well. Three days later on 12/19, we looked up the order status and it showed a used product. Immediately called the store and was told I had to call the online number for the item to be cancelled. Get the order canceled and was promised a refund in 3-5 business days. It is now 2/29/20 and I still do not have a refund a keep getting the run around from everyone I speak to. I call repeatedly trying to get my money back to now avail. I am filing a complaint with the BBB as well. DO NOT BUY FROM GAMESTOP!!!!!
