Fantastic experience: Great local place, Mike behind the counter is incredibly friendly and it was a pleasure talking to him. Prices were fair, some over, some under market value, so I'd say it was worth it and I don't regret my purchases. Now where the REAL steal of a deal is with Xbox Burger King games! Dude is selling 4 sealed games for $5! Never in my life have I considered getting those games but I would NOT let a deal like that pass by. I know Mike talked about retiring or maybe switching to selling his stuff online, so I'd def recommend coming here sooner rather than later. at the very least to get that deal on the Burger King Xbox games.

Got great choices for atari, master system, genesis, game gear, nes/snes, gameboy, n64, playstation, etc. I also saw a good amount of merch and publications - I got a genesis game and a 1994 Electronic Gaming Monthly. The cartridge was cleaned before I left and the rep was very nice. Ill definitely try to return.

Fantastic experience: What a great little store packed with tons of vintage games that are hard to find nowadays. I was amazed at all the Atari selections and found some gems for my collection for pretty good prices. I'll definitely re-visit anytime I have to go to Cleveland and you should too.

Fantastic experience: This is such a cool store it has so many classic games. And a lot of classic gaming consoles some that I didn't even know existed. I loved the GTA San Andreas poster and the guy in there was very nice to us.

The products and games were all very well cared for and some even looked brand new. If I didn't live way out of state, this store would definitely be one I frequently visited.

Fantastic experience: I started going to Video Game Connection as a kid and have never had a bad experience. The store has a wide variety of retro games and I'm sure you'll find what you need.

Fantastic experience: I've been coming here with my brothers and father for about 20 years I'd say idk when this place opened exactly but this game store has the best prices and a lot of great games but the one thing that really stands out is they're quality of merchandise you can find none better than here. Everything checks out correctly and they will not buy a bad disc or something

Walked away with a Genesis game and a Neo Geo joystick, but if not for $$$ would easily have found more. This is a top notch independent game store and worth a visit if you're in the area. Fantastic experience: They had a small, but very diverse collection of gaming systems, from the Nintendo Virtual Boy, to actual arcade cabinets, to the newest systems. So many different game choices as well, for both new and old systems, as well as plenty of things for vintage gaming collectors. My only complaint was that some of the display cases were a bit foggy with the glass due to wear and tear, but the shop attendant was more than willing to take out anything you couldn't see clearly. He seemed extremely knowledgeable as well. A really pleasant visit.

Fantastic experience: Everytime I go here I usually end up buying something. The owner is a great and knowledgeable guy. I brought in my Famicom to test out rf cables and he set the tv up,and even plugged them in to test it for me. He also gave me an extra cable for no charge and let me test out a multicart there. My only real complaint is the high prices of the virtual boys but they been re fitted to ensure their life span for years so it's pretty worth it. I would suggest getting more Famicom or Japanese imports as well. But great place and I definitely prefer going here then James games or the exchange (which pesters you constantly imo). Great store!

Fantastic experience: I love this store the first time I went. I’m 14 and big into retro gaming and it’s great to have a place where I can buy and trade in person at amazing prices. I had called earlier and when I went a few days later the remembered me and were able to help me with my every need and answer my every question. I recommend this store to any retro gamer, classic gamer, and modern gamer.

Negative experience: I came here to purchase a Switch about around the 2nd week of January. The man I spoke to said everything worked fine, the controllers were brand new and that he tested the dock on his own TV and the dock was completely fine. When I took it home, the dock did not work. I called and the man said that there shouldn’t be an issue, but if there is still an issue after trying again to bring it back. Due to my schedule and the fact that the days I’m most free are the days this place is closed, I couldn’t bring it back and the dock never worked. Ever. I’ve tried it on about 5 TV’s and nothing. Then, first week of February arrives and one of the controllers start having a hard time connecting to the switch itself. I thought I had fixed that issue but it just got worse. Here comes the 3rd week of February, and the Switch charger, which I found out was NOT an official Nintendo switch charger, also stopped working. Since then, I’ve had a dead and unusable Switch, which I paid a whopping $250 for. So if it isn’t enough that he charged just about $50 under the price of a brand new Nintendo Switch, it took only 7 weeks for it to be completely useless. I used to come here for all my gaming needs but I don’t think I will ever come back because I was scammed. There’s no if’s ands or buts about it. There’s absolutely no way this thing was working “like new” 7 weeks ago only for it to start breaking down literally the day I purchased it. I’m upset and disappointed knowing I’ll never get my money back for this, so I decided to leave this review to warn people from spending your money here. You’re basically BARELY getting a deal for anything you buy (I also purchased my used Xbox one here at $50 below what I would’ve gotten somewhere like Walmart or GameStop and I also had to pay more money to get it fixed 6 months in) and it just doesn’t seem worth it, especially when they are willing to lie about how good these things actually work. Unfortunately due to the fact that my kids loved the switch, I’ll probably have to drop another $300 just to get a new one but I guess that’s what I should’ve done to begin with. Steer clear from buying anything you can just pay $50 more to get brand new. They have a wonderful collection of older video game items and it’s probably the biggest I’ve seen, so that’s what the 2 stars are for. Other than that, it’s just not worth the trouble.

Fantastic experience: This is not a store for more modern games; although, there is a well priced selection of used Switch, PS4, and Xbox One games. There were lot of old cartridges, systems and other options to play older games. The man inside was very friendly, seemed knowledgeable, and was happy to talk and answer questions. A must stop if you like retro gaming!
