Negative experience: It is 5/28 I arrived door still locked and bars up at 11 am and and man arrived at 11:07 and still told me give him 2 mins and told me it wasn't his fault because some called in late I'm pissed

If you're not on this side of town, the other GameStop on battlefield is really good too. Everyone needs to understand that GameStop has their rules and their employees have to function within that. Negative experience: We showed up after work with the business having a little over 1 hour left open to try and get a switch, the door is locked. The guy comes to the door and tells us that he’s about to take a 45 minute break. At the last hour of business. Make that make sense.

Negative experience: I went in to obtain a free code distribution and was forced to spend $15 before I would be given the code. I already made the trip and had to wait forever to be helped so I didn't want to back out at that point. My advice would be to try any other gamestop in town before this one

Negative experience: Came in to sell my ps5. Yes it was dusty. But gamestop doesn't charge for cleaning it. Madi, my cashier/helper did the trade in. There was another female present, short blue/purple hair. She was obviously an employee off shift, and she made a crude comment about the condition of my console. If that's how this location treats customers, whether they are clocked in or not, but still on the premises, then that's shameful. Madi agreed her comment was unnecessary. But did not disclose the rude employees name

Negative experience: I have to be desperate to go into Gamestop. It's not worth the hassle to buy ANYTHING from there. I would purchase more items but STOP HARASSING YOUR CUSTOMERS AT CHECKOUT FOR MEMBERSHIP! If you call they have to recite the equivalent of The Gettysburg Address before you can even say hello! I'm sure the employees hate having to do it. But they get paid to be there! Us customers do not. I had to wait 25 minutes to be checked out because a customer who was getting checked out when I walked in 20 minutes before waiting to be checked out, because someone took the offer! It took so long 2 different men walked out after waiting and I almost followed them! THEN when I say I just want this nothing else. He still tries to offer me credit and when I cut him off with a firm nope. He gets attitude.

Fantastic experience: Jordan was an awesome guy to chat with. Got a pretty good selection to choose from, although to be honest I was surprised that there wasn’t that much of Yugioh products, but maybe they couldn’t acquire them as much as Pokémon.

Fantastic experience: Great experience and very happy to have a local GameStop here. The staff and management was very helpful and I ended up purchasing a new Xbox One X here as well as a couple games and extra controller, accessories, and signed up for a pro account. I'll definitely be returning here for gaming hardware and trade ins. Highly recommend this place. Don't go anywhere GameStop! Loved the documentary on Netflix too. :)

Fantastic experience: The staff we have met so far, are just the best. So willing to help, they let you shop for what you want, not what they want to offer. Tons of games, collectibles, clothing, posters, some drinks and some snacks and so much more. Friendly, polite, very helpful and also, they have enough patience for anyone to shop i do believe. I am a 55 yr old that goes here shopping for games, for my switch and my sons PS4. TO THE STAFF; KEEP UP THE GOOD JOB Y'ALL ARE DOING, IT IS WORKING!!!!

Fantastic experience: First off i wanna say this store is excellent! I had an issue getting a ps4 pro 1TB and it turned out to be 500gbs…no problem I went back in they checked it out and deemed that wasn’t right and sent it back as defective. A gentleman named Alex(I don’t know his last name) helped me with the whole process and answered all questions I had. I wanted a ps5 but was completely unsure of spending that kind of money, but Alex helped me with price differences and I decided to go with getting a ps5 and absolutely loving it! Thank you Alex! You did an amazing job and so did the managers and others of the store! I will 110% be shopping here again!

Negative experience: I used to have great service through all store locations in town. It's been sliding throughout the years. I pre-ordered Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and the Link Amiibo months ago and paid in full. Never received a call for either of them when they finally released. Luckily, I made it up there to grab the game but forgot I had pre-ordered the Amiibo a couple of days after release. Went back the next day to grab the Amiibo and they said they didn't have one at any Springfield location. Normally, I wouldn't hold policy against a company but I definitely received no call when they came in and no call before they sold my PAID IN FULL Amiibo a couple of days after it came in. The explanation I got was that the attending employee "didn't make the phone calls." I spend quite a bit of money through GameStop, as they were my primary. They're nowy last resort and I'll just start buying elsewhere online ‍♂️ they were more than willing to help me with my refund though, so it could've been worse, I suppose.

Negative experience: Never have I encountered such a rude hateful employee at a GameStop store. I wasn't even there all but five minutes and I could tell this person did not want to do their job. Smoking a cigarette outside the front doors when I walked up, I politely smiled and said hello and employee looking very put off that they had to go back into the store. Not a word was said to me not so much as a hello or welcome. I noticed the phone ring and instead of answering it the employee just hung up without answering. I could go on with a couple of more things but overall a very terrible service and again I wasn't even in there for 5 minutes. I've always enjoyed going to this store but I don't think I will be back after today. There's a couple more GameStops in town that are just fine. Sorry to be an inconvenience as a customer walking into your store

Fantastic experience: The Manager here is AMAZING!!! I WAS so worried about getting a gift for my daughter. I called the store at 10am and he said they would help me. I got there After 5pm and HE WAS STILL THERE and he stayed over to make sure we got everything, including putting on a screen protector for us! Guys he's Awesome and so were all the other employees. One of my favorite places to go because of the customer service ❤️

Negative experience: The worst customer service experience I’ve had in a really long time. The assistant manager named Austin was completely unprofessional. They made the mistake of not adding in my game pro rewards and when I called him out on it, he insisted that I shouldn’t be upset about them keeping my 10 dollar reward. I earned that reward. Then he tried to excuse his poor behavior by saying I should be nicer because he’s had a bad day…completely not understanding that he escalated the situation by not trying or wanting to fix the mistake that was made on his store’s behalf. I was met with nothing but the poorest of the poor attitude from the moment he was asked to assist with the situation by another employee who was very professional and actually tried and did remedy the situation. He should be stripped of his job title and fired while she should take his spot. Who cares if you know about being an assistant manager when you don’t have a clue about exceptional customer service.

Negative experience: we talked to them on the phone and wanted to order a game but they did not tell us that we had to come in to the store and place the order. I am not very pleased.

Negative experience: No real selection. Don't pay you anything for what you have to bring in. Used to be a fun place to get good stuff for your kids. Now it's more of a collector's shop that charges way too much and pays way too little. Used to be one of the stops that always made with my kids. Now I stop in just to see how outrageous they've gotten.

Be he answered them all and I was a great visit. They had a great supply of older and newer games, but no older systems before ps4, xbox360.
