Experiencia negativa: Was told false information that not only wasted my time but charged me more than the price that was told to me, I was told I should received a discount not only on membership but a game and was still charged full price on top of other preorders for other titles I didn't not ask for, very upset needs new or better Management/employees go to another retailer or location if you'd like better service. This isn't the first hap I or friends of mine experienced but felt like I wanted to give them benefit of the doubt for it to lead to another disappointment, waste of time and money I DONT recommend coming to GameStop or at least choose a different location than this one.

Experiencia negativa: I visited GameStop today to grade some PSA cards and Crystal was working alone. Right away, the employee gave me an attitude and seemed unwilling to assist. She told me it was “up to me to do everything,” but I’m not sure what that means or how to complete the process myself. I specifically asked for Phil because he’s familiar with the process and has helped me with this successfully in the past. I’m frustrated that instead of helping customers get what they need, some employees make the process more difficult. Going forward, I’ll only request Phil’s assistance. The employee I dealt with today (the one with blue hair) had the worst attitude I’ve encountered there. Thank you for looking into this—I’ve always appreciated the help from certain staff members like Phil, and I’d like to continue being a customer.just not with her attitude!!!

Experiencia negativa: I went to this GameStop a few months ago and purchased Shadow of War while I was taking a short vacation to Detroit. Today I finally had some time to open the game and play it. My game finishes downloading and Lord behold it's Shadow of Mordor. The game I didn't purchase and the game I already have. Come on GameStop. Y'all just lost a customer from this mistake. Beyond upset and disappointed.

Experiencia negativa: Went in for a switch 2 and I got attitude for not wanting a warranty. I guess warranty and membership sales is GameStop's business model now, but don't make your customers feel awkward because you don't want a warranty for a product that already has a manufacturer warranty...or a membership for a store that they visit once every 10 years.

Experiencia negativa: They're supposed to call you when your pre-order is ready. Never got a call, and they won't answer the phone. Even had another gamestop location to call on my behalf, and they didn't answer for them either. Don't waste your time on this store location. The other once in the area are way better.

Experiencia negativa: It's sad that a customer knows more about trade ins and deals than the assistant store manager (Crystal) i went in to trade some stuff in and first of all she did not want to accept anything. Telling me she has to take a bunch of the trade in credit because there was a scratch on the console. That's only the beginning. I asked her if I would he able to buy a quest 3 with my trade credit online and pick it up so i can save $25. She said no it's only for in store. So I said I'll just go to another gamestop. I went to the 13 mile and gratiot store and the guys over there had no issues at all. Traded everything in without an issue. Also when I go my trade in card I used it only to buy the quest 3 so the assistant manager has no clue about anything at gamestop. I hope this gets to corporate because now I had to go through all this hassle just because she didn't know her own company's policies.

Experiencia negativa: I totally forgot about this. But when Tears of the Kingdom released. They I did not receive my preorder bonus. They told me they only had a limited amount of them. This was the last straw. I have not spent money at gamestop since then. They owe me 2 years of game informer magazines as well that I will never see.

Experiencia negativa: I never leave reviews but I don’t know why anyone would go to this location the guy working today 6/6/24 was rude and pushy I needed a xbox hard drive and when i told him it was for my series s he said “ I don't know why you or anyone would buy one that it was a bogus product” due to having to transfer games and almost wouldn't sell it to me and tried to push a $180 one on me because he personally did not like the one I wanted then when I said its okay it’s only because call of duty is a big file he said “those games are not good and not allowed in my house because if a kid breaks his controller he will shove a switch controller up their *** ” rude and unprofessional makes sense why nobody shops in store anymore

Turns out, the game is available on Xbox after all. Why would he lie to try and make a console sale?? Smh Horrible service! Never come to this location.

Experiencia fantástica: I know 5 stars is a big deal, but the team at GameStop in the 11 & Hoover Plaza deserves it. Both Max and Anthony were not only polite, friendly and patient with me and my little one who’s on the spectrum, but they worked with us to make sure we were getting the best deal possible - to me, that exemplified true customer service. I also enjoyed conversing with them. Thanks, Max & Anthony - you guys are great!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Max is the best! My son wanted a Roblox robux card for his birthday. I had no clue how to go about getting that for him. Max explained it to me and even offered to help me redeem it if I couldn't figure it out. I mean how many employees anywhere offer that kind of help? I know I don't run into that ever. Thank you Max for not making me feel like an idiot and being so helpful and kind. You are awesome!

Experiencia negativa: I pre-ordered Zelda Tears of the kingdom. When I asked about my pre-order bonus I was told that it was while supplies last, so I did not recieve one. I did not receive that information upon purchasing. I did not even have a chance to get the preorder bonus because the midnight release was announced only one day before the release date. I had to work, there was no way a working person could show up to that. I also asked for the new TOTK pro controller, which they were also out of stock. The lady said they had only 7 of them total. What is gamestop even thinking? Only seven of the new controllers on game launch? Also the lady cashing me out was telling me about how her ex fiance was first in line for the midnight release, so she had a bad day. I dont know what that was about. I should be playing Zelda, not writing this review because I want gamestop to do better.

Experiencia negativa: Terrible service, even worse return policy. My son bought a used game; returned it a week later, 7 days to the date of purchachase. The game was defective and malfunctioning. All I wanted was a exchange for the exact same game. I was given a very hard time because I didn't have the receipt. The kicker was we even paid extra for the warranty It's very clear why the company is decline. Save your time and money and go to disc replay.

Experiencia positiva: I spent 15 minutes in the store being reassured by a manager and an associate that the $400 wheel I was purchasing could be returned no questions asked within 30 days as long as it was not broke. I asked if it would be refunded back to my card or if I had to exchange. They said it would be refunded. I went to return it after one time use and they said, "sorry, exchanges only. You should have read the bottom of the receipt." Fotunately I talked to a different manager and they were understanding and refunded me still. Thank you!
