Experiencia negativa: Was ignored in the middle of service by brain. In mid conversation another customer had asked for help and he left me to help them. I felt depreciated. If that store wasn’t my only option at the time I would have gone somewhere else. Got what I needed, just didn’t come with the service I expected.

Experiencia negativa: Not one star since they still limit the amount of items a person can get on release days, but down to 2 from 5 stars since they started letting Pro Members get twice as many limit items. Sad, they were doing so well for so long, but now scalpers just have to pay a tiny admission fee.

Experiencia negativa: Recently preorder a +$100 game from this location and requested a physical copy, the manager even said at the time of purchase “your in luck today’s the last day to guarantee it arrives by launch day” yet they ordered me a digital copy without my knowledge or consent, after they already attempted to sell me a lower edition of the game, claiming that no other editions ever existed in the first place, only after I argued did they try to do there job and realized I was right . Now I’m stuck with the wrong version of the game I waited for, really disappointed in the complete lack of professionalism and effort, I was really excited to support GameStop they are an important part of my childhood, but I’m never going back to this store, I recommend you stay clear of these folks they don’t care about their work or you.

Experiencia fantástica: My son got a job this summer and we have spent more time in gemstones than we'd care to imagine. But the staff was friendly. He was looking foe a game used and another location said this location did not have it but to his surprise they did. He had picked up the case for the new version and the staff was nice enough to say, I think I have a used version and went and got the used case for us. Friendly as usual. This is one of the better locations. And we've been to many this summer!

Experiencia negativa: Every time I visit this GameStop location, there's only one employee working and a wait time of at least 30 minutes just to get helped. Today was no different—one staff member assisting a single customer for over 30 minutes while multiple others waited in line. This is completely unacceptable and extremely frustrating as a paying customer. A retail location should never be operated with such little staffing during normal hours, especially when there are clearly people waiting to spend money. Please address this staffing issue immediately—customers deserve better.

Experiencia negativa: There was an employee telling a customer that humans can't see beyond 30 fps so it doesn't make much a difference using a console that doesn't support it. Found that a bit odd. Also attempted to upsell me for protection for a game that helps out in instances of softlocks. Not certain how getting a replacement game would help in this instance.

Experiencia negativa: So I can’t buy a black ops game without an ID? I get it, I forgot my ID, but I’m clearly old enough to play a video game. The front worker was not lenient on me for not having my ID. Why are we being strict like we are a bar, as if selling a popular video game is like selling alcohol. First time customer wanted to try it out, turns out first time AND last time coming. Thanks for letting me know the “cameras are watching”.

Experiencia fantástica: I just want to trade some games in to get a snowboarding or skateboarding game had no idea what I was doing.... I am not gamer savvy... but Brit who helps me at the counter did an amazing job helps me get through the process and got me the game I wanted and it's getting shipped to my house she did an amazing job!! She has excellent customer service abilities and she is great with people!!! I just want to say you guys hired the right person for the job!!! Thank you again for your help Brit!! Not sure if that's her full name but that's what's on the receipt!! No matter what she did an amazing job and I would recommend anybody to her!!!

Experiencia negativa: Went there today and normally there's the regular guys in there that are super friendly... and I loved stopping at this place cuz the guys where so nice.... but today there was a new girl... I never seen before named "Brit" and she was so rude to me and my wife and my nephews ...got a attitude with us about renewal of our subscription was madd at us because we didn't want to renew the GameStop subscription ....and was very rude while telling us how much we are missing out on ...then carded my nephew for a call of duty game that is 17+ mature rating.. was rude asking for his ID he is 17 in two months he will be 18 told him he couldn't buy the game... so I stepped up and said.." I will buy the game" and she refuses to sell it to me!! I'm 43 years old ...but refused to sell it to me... then her rebuttal is" I need the guardian "to purchase the game so i go get his mom that was waiting in the car Wich is on oxygen...what a power trip she was on... I will never go there again after being treated like that !!stay away from this place this GameStop sucks now cuz these employees are on a power trip... I hope corporate see this ....as a business owner myself id fire employees that act like this

They are very quick and reliable with filling same day pick up orders, assuming you place the order at a reasonable time. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Experiencia negativa: This location appears to be closed now? Ordered online for in store pickup. Have gone twice now during hours to pick it up. Once ar 5pm on a weekday, another at 1pm on a Sunday. Both times the lights have been off and bars on the doors. Order says it'll be canceled if I don't pick it up soon but physically can't.

Experiencia negativa: I don't like the policies they have in place for returns or trade in's. Also some items they have labeled as "New" are not actually new. The most penny pinching company I have seen. I also don't care for the rude girl working there now. Receipt says 'Caitlin'.Bleach fried hair, glasses, chapped lips. She has an attitude out this world. Certainly not quality customer service. She has no place in customer service, management, ALL thee above.

However this change today they call me one hour early to night early release to let me know the will not be a release. 2 days ago a talk to one of the guys in this store and he confirmed the earlier release de game is already out and downloaded for others digital gamers. Experiencia fantástica: The store itself has a fairly good selection with decent prices. The real star of this review, however, was the employee (whose name I very sadly missed) who worked the 9th of February during the huge snow storm we got. He was very friendly and helped us find what we needed but as my boyfriend and I were driving away from the store, we got stuck on a completely snowed over curb. The employee working that day came out in his sneakers and sweatshirt to help us push our car out (when there were no customers in the store) so we were able to get home safely. He went absolutely above and beyond and I am so grateful he was there that day to help us. Honestly, GameStop manager, if you’re reading this, that man deserves a raise.

Experiencia fantástica: Traded in a ps4 slim and old Xbox one for a ps5 a few days ago. The three gentlemen that worked there are really cool and helpful. You can tell they're all really passionate about video games and helping people get what they need. I wish more retail stores had customer service like this. The one guy, Joe, who was already off the clock from his shift was still there helping customers because it was busy. Give these guys raises and keep them around so that we can enjoy having people who actually care in brick and mortar stores.

Experiencia negativa: Story time: So we went in the other day to buy a brand new copy of Hervestella. Apparently Gamestop doesn't keep the plastic seal on their "new" games so I'm already a little upset that we didn't get to take the plastic off the game since that's one of the joys of buying new games. That was just a slight annoyance to what happened next. Before handing me the game, the employee put a sticker over the case sealing it shut! Now, first off, I don't know why that's necessary since I am the one buying the game and I'm standing right there, but this isn't any ordinary sticker. This is one of those stickers you have to carefully pick off. This thing would not come off without a fight and without leaving tons of sticker residue behind. I tried my best but although I finally got the sticker and residue off there is now permanent pretty much unavoidable damage on the case of my brand new game. Thanks Gamestop. I've never experienced anything like this from anywhere else I've bought games. Buy your new games anywhere else.

However, it drives me nuts that GameStop loves to remove the original protective packaging from their games and slap on their own stickers. Experiencia fantástica: I decided to stop by on my break not knowing what I wanted to get. An associate greeted me and offered suggestions and then informed me of any deals going on. During checkout we tried to get the power up $5 discount to apply and tried to even scan it through the app but it wouldn’t work. I understand there will be some bugs with the transition going on and I know the money is going to an amazing company so I’m not torn about it. Overall wonderful experience.

I wish that they kept the new and used games separate though. Also, I wish that they were able to get the new Xbox gaming system in. But that's no one's fault but Xbox...‍♀️ I'm not going to lie, it's getting a little depressing not being able to purchase something that has been out for almost 8 months. Why even bother releasing something if you can't even slightly keep up with the demand? SMH

Experiencia negativa: I called tonight to see if any switches were in stock and I was told that there were. I proceeded to drive from out of town to Madison. When I arrived to purchase my console I was told I could not purchase it without it being in a $500 bundle. The associate on the phone failed to mention that promotion on the phone. I wasted my time by driving an hour and was greeted by 2 employees with horrible attitudes and no recollection of a phone conversation with me that occured a little over an hour ago. There eyes were bloodshot red and appeared to be high. Then when I came back in to purchase a game they were selling a switch to a different person. What is happening at this location? I will be reaching out to coporate and district managers. Someone has to take responsibility for the complete unprofessionalism, poor customer service dishonesty, and stoned stupidity of the employees.

Experiencia negativa: We were greeted and asked if there was anything in particular we were looking for. My son answered and said DS games. We were directed to a couple areas. The first area he said "these are all under $10." the second area (that were in a locked case) he said "these are all over $10". My son decided to look at everything under $10. They were each individual packaged in a small envelop and priced. He found a game that he has been wanting in the under $10 area but it was priced at $17. We were both confused and thought someone made a mistake and put the wrong price on it since all of these were supposed to be under $10. My son went up to the guy that greeted us and told him about the mistake and asked him how much it was supposed to be. The guy said "oh thank you so much for finding this, someone made a mistake and put it in the under $10 envelope and in the wrong area." My son said so it wasn't a mismarked price? And the employees response was "NO!" This is not how you run a business! If you as the business made the mistake this is not the customers fault. Your next step is to make the customer happy. We will NEVER be back to another Game Stop again!
