Experiencia negativa: Very rude counter worker. Greeted by the phrase " don't touch my stuff on counter". Lied to phone customer saying they were the only used video game store in the Huntsville area. They don't deserve your money!! Avoid this store at all costs

Experiencia fantástica: Gamerz World is run by a good group of people, helpful and knowledgeable. It is also one of the best selections anywhere. The hours are a bit odd because absolutely nothing is going to stop the owner from picking up his daughter after school. The aisles have gotten a bit tight, which may bother some people.

Experiencia fantástica: Extremely friendly staff, however I would say be extra sure of the used controllers. I purchased an Xbox One X controller for my emulator and then immediately went out of town so I didn't get a chance to test it. Got back about ten days later to play finally and realized the left trigger didn't work. I tested it through a gamepad tester and saw that the left trigger registered as constantly depressed 60% and it doesn't register any input from the user. I took apart the controller to see if it was just an alignment issue that could be fixed but it was immediately evident that the controller had been either previously modified or the previous owner tried to and did a very bad job of it. Massive soldering issues all over the left side of the PCB. Disappointed. As I now have to drop another $50 on a controller. Don't let my review dissuade you from checking out the shop. Just double check everything first. Edit: They made it right. Gave me a new replacement. Incredible stuff.

Experiencia negativa: If I could leave a 0 star review I would. I have been up there not once, not twice but three times to get my HDMI port fixed on my PlayStation 5. After the third time I heard rattling inside of my PlayStation from Kyle not putting things back correctly after “ fixing “ the issue. ( I even texted him letting him know and haven’t heard back about that. ) Now here we are again, needing the fourth repair for the hdmi port. Only good thing I can say is he didn’t charge me each and every time he tried “ fixing “ it. Spend the extra $80 and get someone who can fix it and be done with it. This has been such a huge head ache. ( still awaiting Kyle’s response ).

Experiencia positiva: Large selection of videogames, consoles, etc. Location is kinda small and gets crowded when it's busy. We went shopping here because of the local game expo, Game Jam was canceled, but good people are running the place.

Experiencia fantástica: It's been years since I've been to this place. Gamers world deserves a 5 star review. The owner is great guy and will work with you and is a very honest hard working man. I've obtained a nintendo 64, Sega dream cast and about 50 or so games over a span of a few years from them. The game boy advanced sp is still working without any issues, my n64 and dream cast are still in prime condition also. You will not find a better deal on retro gaming.

Experiencia fantástica: Talk about bringing back nostalgia, I walk in the store and transport back to the 90s when I was a kid playing sixty four playstation, anything, handheld, and all the games that just bring you back to those days they've got such a big collection and the people that work there know their stuff on top of they have pretty much anything you need to get an old system running again including some more modern upgrades, for your old consoles

Experiencia fantástica: I showed up and got a replacement controller. Found it to be in a near perfect state just needing to be cleaned once I tried it myself. Also it is working better than 2 others I have around. Immediately I’m happy I was able to get a replacement and they offer a warranty on the used controllers. I had a controller going out in the first place and went to a different store. They had no controllers at all and then I tried out this one to be surprised. Also, I find this store to some better stock. They have about everything. I will be returning here and next time I will make sure to walk in through the Front Door.

Experiencia negativa: Brought the switch in for a repair. Quoted up to 2 weeks. 4 weeks later no call, drove over only to find out it hadn’t been even started. Waste of my time. Find a better organized shop for your needs owner won’t make it right. I shouldn’t pay full price for a repair when you are 2 weeks over estimate and I had to waste my time driving to you for nothing.

Experiencia negativa: I've been trying to do business with these people for almost a month now. If I could do 0 stars I would!!!! We walked in and spoke to an associate. He said he was a bit flooded with repairs at the moment and to give him about 1 to 2 weeks. We did that after I called him once the 2nd week was up he said he was still backed up and to give him another week. That week came and I tried calling multiple times thru the day and my number was sent directly to voicemail and when I tried a private number it was answered but the line "disconnected" I work retail myself and I of all people completely understand that things happen when situations occurs. I'm not an impatient person by far. But if they couldn't fix my console the least he could have done was say it flat out. My console is an original 2000 Xbox. I was excited just to be able to have it fixed. But once I realized I was being ran in circles I went somewhere else and got the mother board fixed THE SAME DAY. this was completely unprofessional and I do NOT recommend this place to anyone ever

The customer may not always be right but they are still a person deserving of respect just like the business itself deserves respect.

Experiencia fantástica: I actually specifically came here for a PS4 disc drive repair. Kyle was quick to take a look at the unit & gave me a fair quote. He repaired it a few weeks later & let me know it was ready. He even returned it to me for the less than the quoted price. Unit is back home working fine now so would definitely recommend his services. Nice selection of games & systems there too.

Experiencia positiva: I had a good experience with the owner who helped me out a lot. The cigarette smoke is a little strong though, and the location isn't great (not very bike friendly and its kinda small/cramped). I'd go again though if I ever need help with retro consoles or games.

Experiencia fantástica: There is no better place in town to find literal treasure. I don’t think I’ve ever had a question unanswered, and I always find something cool for my 90’s collection. The products are also cared for even though it’s cluttered and it seems like a hot mess. All of my games have worked and been in good condition and even if it didn’t, I promise you the issue would be taken care of! Bring him your game and console boxes too, there is little in the game world that doesn’t belong in Gamerz World.

They had a decent selection just not to much I was looking for like Pokémon legend of Zelda stuff like that. Buuuut I did manage to purchase yoshi Tetris and Pac-Man all worked great and will be coming back soon
