Experiencia positiva: It's a smaller store. Not a ton of variety. I was annoyed with the poor customer service. I was trying to pay and the only other customer in the store waa buying some service at the register and had been for awhile before I got in line. I stood there for another 10 minutes while they talked and were obvious. Giving me time to take pics of the store while I waited. I don't suggest coming to this location if its the only store your shopping at just because there isn't any free parking. . . .
Experiencia negativa: WHY DOES THIS COMPANY EVEN STILL EXIST? I've been coming to this store since i was a kid. I could go for something newer now. No one buys disc games other than old people. And everything they sell u can find it cheaper elsewhere. Best buy and Target has better game deals! Game Informer magazine sucks now and the pro membership which also sucks went up to $25. Its time for a new store. Close these gamestop stores down so there's no excuse for gamestop to use loopholes on their coupons such as online and store only coupons. Oh and also i asked for a refund and they took away my pro rewards membership but never gave me back the money and its been 3 months of false promises
Experiencia negativa: The store is good but they never pick up the phone which is really really annoying. I don't want to have to go to the store for simple requests that can be taken care of verbally.
Experiencia fantástica: I have only had good experiences at this GameStop. I was having difficulty with my Tears of the Kingdom preorder, but store leader Dan was able to patiently resolve my issue, even though it took several minutes to work it out. Very happy!
Experiencia positiva: Standard Game Stop. Upselling was a little aggressive on add-ons, but thats where the money is for them. They had the joy cons i wanted, so it was up to par for me. Smallish, but still a good standard selection of products and kitsch. Conveniently close to the entrance and on the ground floor, so it was easy to get in and out without too much malling.

Experiencia fantástica: I’d rather pay for parking and drive the distance for the customer service. Brookline GameStop is extremely rude. The lack in customer service and I’ve had to report them on several occasions with no follow up. A lot of the GameStop locations are being closed so it’s unfortunate but again, I’d rather pay for parking and drive further than deal with Thomas in Brookline :)

Experiencia negativa: I had a bad experience picking up fire emblem engage pre order bonus when I came to store because it was out of stock. Spent almost an hour on customer service telling me I was out of luck and that supplies were limited even though it was promised you would get the pre order bonus when you ordered. It's not this gamestops fault they didn't receive enough in stock but it's gamestop fault for blatantly lying about the pre-order bonus. I will be returning the game and be buying it somewhere else

Experiencia negativa: This is a good game stop, but I feel like the cashier sort of scammed me. After I made a reasonably large purchase of some games (~$150) the cashier told me to sign up for GameStop Rewards. He said it’s $15/yr. I said I rarely shop at GameStop. He said, with the purchase I just made, I’ll already have $13 in my account so it’s basically paid back, plus a $5 coupon each month. Impressed by how quickly you can accumulate rewards ($13 for a $150 purchase seems good) I decided to sign up, even though I don’t shop here often. Come to find out later, I only got $3 for my $150 purchase. He said $13 because you get a base $10 reward for first signing up. I don’t shop at GameStop frequently enough (only once or twice a year) to ever cover the permanent $15/yr subscription each year. And guess what? It’s super hard to unsubscribe. You have to either wait on hold for the phone for hours with GameStop corporate, or emails back and forth. I elected to email back and forth after seeing how long the wait on the phone would be, and it took 3 weeks going back-and-forth for someone to finally unsubscribe me. They pull you in at the counter with lies about how good the rewards program is, and then make it so hard to unsubscribe because they’re hoping you’ll just give up and let them charge you $15/yr forever. Seems scummy, and it all started (for me) at this GameStop. I wish the cashier had been a little more realistic to me about how this program works before convincing me to sign on.

Experiencia negativa: I ordered an ps4 platinum headset. Never got the headset inside the box. Only got 2 wires and when I tried calling GameStop, they don’t pickup. I’m really disappointed and I’m going to go to the store tomorrow and ask for my money back or get the all the stuff that is supposed to be in my box.

Experiencia negativa: Employees were very rude and unhelpful, insulting me when I was trying to trade in my Xbox one. Scammed me out of $20 by pretending my controller was broken when I used it recently. Would not have sold my Xbox to them if it had any value.

Experiencia negativa: Walked in and first thing i heard was one of the staff members aggressively selling games to a kid along the lines of " Do you have x game, WHAT its only y amount you gotta get it" and fir an adult to do that to child was really trashy, I will never spend money here.
Experiencia fantástica: Darriel and Scotty are absolute legends. Helped out with purchase of a preowned console, were super clear about warranty and suggestions. FYI it’s a smaller store.

Experiencia negativa: This store reminded me exactly why I just order my games online... waited just under 15 minutes for the only cashier in the store to serve one client while getting bumped into inline by a kid behind me only to find the game I was looking to pre order would have to be picked up at the store or have extra fees related to one day shipping added to it... needless to say I'm purchasing the game from Amazon that provides delivery on the day the game is released

Telling me if I come in store to purchase a Nintendo Switch bundle by that night, I would have it by Friday with next day shipping. I made my order Wednesday.... Anyhow, I'm following the tracking number provided by Gamestop which says I should have everything by Monday. So I'm annoyed, but whatever.. I just want the Switch. I come home early from work to catch my delivery in time so nothing happens to it, and just a book from Zelda is on my doorstep. I check my email, I now have a new email with a new tracking number from gamestop saying that my Nintendo Switch is above to ship now!!! Wait what? Next day shipping? Its been nearly an entire week and still HASN'T SHIPPED YET. I call this number I found Dedicated Customer Care: (877) 676-GAME.... I call them looking for a refund only on the shipping that I was lied to about. They come back and say they can offer me a gift card! lol AYYYY... Like i haven't already spent enough money with you!? Just give me what I am owed and be done with it!!!! I could have skipped all of this garbage time spent, and ordered the bundle I WANTED off some other internet source. If this was Game of Thrones, Game Stops saying would be, "we promise, but we lie, we are game stop"... RIP Gamestop. You are NOT for the gamer. SHAME!!!!
Experiencia negativa: As others have stated, they are understaffed. There is currently one employee, and they are having a casual conversation instead of checking out customers. I would recommend going to an actual GameStop, or somewhere else.
