Experiencia fantástica: Amazing experience every time I visit! The staff is super knowledgeable and always ready to help me find the latest games and accessories. Love the vibe and the community events they host—definitely my go-to spot for all things gaming!
Experiencia fantástica: Went into GameStop today and was a little worried and unsure what to get my kid. Felt pretty lost but some young guy named Jonathan helped me out and was really nice. He went above and beyond asking about interest of my kiddo and helped me get something my kid LOVED. I impressed my kid and now I feel like the coolest dad ever. I'll be forever grateful to Jonathan. Seems silly, but it means a lot to me. Big kudos to him.
Experiencia negativa: I wish I could give no stars, but this is one of the worst GameStop stores I've ever been to, and the staff doesn't care about helping customers at all. None of the workers answer the phone just to see if they have the game or console in stock before driving there. Again, no one cares about the customers, and the workers look like they are dead or sad, like they have never worked a day in their lives. Soon, someone will probably get fired and hire someone who really cares about their job. Go to the ventura gamestop, the employees actually care about customer service, just saying

Experiencia negativa: Tried to trade in my console today at 7pm. The employee, Brandee, visibly annoyed that he had to do work while at work, claimed that they stop doing trade-ins at 7. I explained my guaranteed trade in voucher expired today. Broshortee looked at me blankly, no apology, and lied saying the system stops trade ins at 7. We were the only customers in the store so there was no excuse but Broatney’s laziness.. I’m incredibly upset. I was trying to get a ps5 for my nephew who is currently in the hospital dying of lung cancer. He’s going to pass having never experienced Fortnite in real 5k. Thanks for the amazing customer service, Bacordie.
Experiencia negativa: Went in a hour before they close, Brayden not friendly seems like he’s not wanting to be there and being forced to work so already it’s been a not so pleasant start. Tried to trade in a system to get another system and he wouldn’t do it saying that the system wouldn’t let him which was a lie. We Called another game stop to ask their policy and if there pos system does such a thing and the guy said no.

Experiencia fantástica: I spoke with Matt over a month ago regarding questions about the Silent Hill f preorder and followed up with him again today. He was outstanding in addressing all of my questions both times. His professionalism and helpfulness truly stood out—he’s one of the best!
Experiencia fantástica: Great GameStop in a large shopping center. They have a large selection of collectibles and cards (sports and otherwise). Staff is always helpful and I’ve personally witnessed them assist folks in picking gifts for their kids or in basic troubleshooting of their devices. Will be back.
Experiencia fantástica: Went into Gamestop Rose. This is the 2nd time Jadon helped us and it was a good experience. Jadon was attentive to our 4 year old daughter when she asked him questions. It is often that she gets ignored since she is so small and that wasn’t the case with Jadon. It’s pretty clear that Jadon is also familiar with games and sales as well. He has a natural ability to not force his presence on customers and also provide accurate information which leads to a sale. I hope as Gamestop changes (Ryan Cohen / PSA grading) it pursues providing enough incentives to keep good and experienced workers. Historically (15 plus years) Ive seen all types or workers at this store and I have even applied for a job here as well. Ive heard many things, for example that leaving a review via the Gamestop receipts was the only way people get recognized (they might have gotten rid of this, not code on my receipt).
Experiencia fantástica: The employees are so kind (and I’ll be honest, not judgmental- as a 30 year old man adjacent person comes in asking meekly if they could check the system for a rare Sonic (Silver) the Hedgehog squishmallow) Without any huff or dismay he checked the back for me- another employee also came in around the time of my transaction and helped him look; and there it was! I have worked in retail and no one ever wants to check the back… it meant a lot to me, and I finally got this collectable! Thanks dudes

Experiencia negativa: Worker “Matt” was an hour late ( store was supposed to open at 10 and he shows up at 11) and wouldn’t take a military i.d for trade in because it wasn’t a “government issued i.d” what a joke.
Experiencia negativa: Bought a whole new ps5 and found out it was not matching the Serial number on the box According to the worker took up to Sony they said not our problem because thats on them now I went back to them All of a sudden the serial number matches. At this point Walmart is like a better gamestop by the way

There’s not even a sign to say “we’re not opening today due to no support” or something along those lines.

Experiencia negativa: This GameStop is very horrible. About six years ago I purchased a sixty-dollar Xbox One game(Titanfall) for my console. I unwrapped it and opened it only to come to a cracked disc in the game box. I took it back to the store and spoke with a team member about getting it exchanged for a new one. It was only just a couple of minutes since I left the store when this occurred. The team member that I spoke at that time said, “something internally has to be wrong with it, otherwise we can’t do the exchange.” I asked for a store manager and pointed out the facts in back of the receipt. The team member then said, “Sir, I am the manager and we can’t do the exchange because of the damage on this disc, I’m sorry.” I later contacted corporate about the issue; to fact check this manager and she was indeed right. Since that day forth, I’ve never returned to this GameStop, nor will I ever purchase another game from this location again. I’d rather buy my games at Target where if ANYTHING were to happen to it, you can exchange your copy for the same copy within 14-15 days regardless of what had happened to it HASSLE-FREE. A “valued lesson” was learned that day.

He just said we run out, someone else also walked in while I was asking questions and wanted a remote for PS4 and he blew them off too. He made no effort to help me or the other customers.

Whenever I need a product they call other stores to check for me since they dont answer when I call lol didnt even have to ask thank you the guy that called yesterday I picked it up on time and I absolutely loved it!!!! Experiencia negativa: I promised my son I would take him to games top because he had been super patient and helpful. From the moment we walked it they just seemed to want us out the door. My son even had a game in hand that he picked and wanted. But the lady just kept telling us we should just order games online from the game stop store. They clearly didn't want our business. They made it clear that we were wasting their time. I won't be bringing my son back to this store. He deserves better service. The guys at the ventura mall treat him so much better when we go in there. The Rose is so ghetto.
