Honestly she is an exemplar of Customer Service she went above and beyond to help me find the right game. 10/10 will only shop here again if Allison is working.

I let him know what i was looking for and he said great ill be with you after. I waited patiently and browsed. Once I heard him wrapping up I came to the counter. Then more people started coming in. He proceededs to help a new person. I think fine might be he forgot. Im waiting(right in the front he can see me) he starts to help another person. Then another. By this time im irritated and even another customer was like you keep forgetting about him. I just walked out and walked across to best buy. Too bad I was ready to spend some coin. Never been treated like that. It was bizarre

Experiencia fantástica: I cannot express how refreshing the customer service from Adrian was today. My kiddo brought in an entire laundry basket full of games, consoles and even an old iPhone. Adrian was incredibly patient and helpful throughout the entire process. In the end, my kiddo was very pleased and was able to purchase the Nintendo Switch 2 that he was saving up for. Experiencia negativa: I visited this location on the evening of 06/07/2025. There were a few customers in the store. Some shopping and others in line.There was a family at the register being helped by an employee, I got in line behind them, then another employee(Allison heavy set woman) came to the line and called for the next customer. When we approached the cashier, I informed her that I was interested in purchasing Pokémon cards. she walked my son to the cards. After he picked up the ones he wanted, we proceeded to check out. After she ran our order,she asked for a telephone number. This is where things took a turn for the worst. I gave Allison two numbers my account should be associated with. she informed me that neither account was in the system. I politely said well don't worry about it."" She asked if I would like to sign up for an account, then proceeded to tell me the benefit of having an account. I declined, and she seemed very bothered by my answer . I went into my purse to get the cash to pay for my items. Once I had the amount, I handed it to her. When it was time for her to return my change and receipt, I held my hand out. Allison bypassed my hand and placed my change and receipt on the counter. As I scrapped my change off of the counter, I shook my head in disbelief. I didn't say anything. I just shook my head. She noticed me shaking my head. She then asked me, "Was something wrong?" I told her yes. I explained to her I had my hand out so that she could return my change to my hand. She says " I have OCD and I am strict on how I return change" I say OK, still in disbelief, because she took the money from my hand, so I really didn't understand why she didn't place my change and receipt in my hand. She then said, "You're band from the store." I couldn't believe that I was band from the store. I looked at Allison with further disbelief, and I informed her that I wouldn't patronize Gamestop if they were treating customer's in that manner. She did some type of motion with her head and lips as if to say, "Oh well." And I left the establishment. It seems as if she was looking for me to respond in a negative manner so that she could have a reason to "ban" me from the store from the time I declined to set up an account. What was supposed to be a fun time with my child was interrupted by Allison's unprofessional and immature behavior. I wanted to inform someone of how I,as a customer, was treated. I noticed from other reviews that things of this magnitude have been done to previous customers.

I told the store clerk with pink hair that I just started getting Back into collecting Pokémon cards They were very helpful when I asked them about their Pokémon card drops and gave me a little insight on when a good time to come is. They also helped me renew my membership and Told me the benefits. Overall, super friendly, super informative and good experience They definitely made my day!!
Experiencia negativa: The experience my son and I had at the Antioch location would take too long to explain. Short version: Thursday morning (5/15/25) we had an unpleasant encounter with the one employee who was working that morning/right after 12 noon that day. Due to an interaction I was having with the customer behind me while waiting in line during which the clerk was getting my son the packs of cards we were buying, she (the clerk) said she didn't have to help us because she thought I was talking bad about her. That was certainly not the case. Due to the two different interactions we had with this clerk two different times on the same day, we will not be going back to this location. She ruined it for us.
Experiencia negativa: Went for the Pokemon drop today and the sign on their door said “two per person” for the new pack. We got to the register and because me and my significant came in together and live in the same household we got denied a purchase for him. The two women working were VERY rude too. Make sure next time you actually tell people that and put it on your sign.

Experiencia negativa: Worst GameStop ever. The person impersonating the manager that clearly gave me a fake name was very combative and condescending. He had no interest in helping or apologizing or rectifying the situation. His co worker referred to him as the assistant manager and when I asked for a manger he basically lied. He was more interested in his feelings and paid no regard to what the customer wants.

No acknowledgement of our entry beyond a quick glance Waited behind the guys at the counter while my wife looked at some swag. Nobody else came in so I'd pop over to her really quick and come back to stand behind the other group. Sitting there behind the guys when other people come in, get greeted and served immediately. We walked out and went half a block over to best buy and bought our series x there.

Experiencia positiva: The staff is always quick to greet you upon entering their store. Most are knowledgable in regards to questions I have about certain games or merchandise. I only have one complaint, on three separate occasions I've purchased two to three games, only to get home and discover at least one game disc wasn't placed inside of the case. I've had to drive back to the store to get the missing game, just to be told they dont actually have the game. People make mistakes, we all do not a huge deal. Heres the thing though, my son has to earn the things he wants so to see the excitment of finally owning said game, then for him to be completely disappointed by the end of a positive experience(s), is quite frustrating for him and for me as well.

Experiencia negativa: Very disappointing lack of professionalism, I witnessed a large group of people waiting in line for the 2nd wave of PS5 pre orders to get snubbed as I was 6 in line. People ahead of me had been waiting since 4am.. "Manager" shows up at 10:50 am, gets out of car at 11:10am to say, "no pre orders, didnt you guys read the sign" (sign been up since first drop as a few stores locally had same sign posted). The upsetting part of the situation is that they had a second drop list from the first drop from what the "manager" had said. Seems fishy Atleast a half dozen people had said they had called day before and was told they will be dropped in the morning first come first serve basis. I can go on and on about the situation but trying to keep it short as possible. I would think at a minimum, common courtesy, a sign posted regarding that "fishy" situation. Well atleast I know not to ever shop at that Gamestop.
Experiencia fantástica: I guess gamers don't like making reviews about stores (only 154), just the games. After this shop being here forever it still has the rip off when buying back games but they have to make a profit and have money in reserve incase no one buys it. Enough if that though. This store though and the community supporting it has always been amazing. The team is always awesome. The workers can tell if you are unsure and try some add-ons or recommendations and they can tell when you just want to get your sh^- and get out, that is if they aren't busy. Even at the counter they do it. Got a question they WILL go out of their way to answer it. This store has always been clean, always organized and the community respects it. Even now with COVID-19, there's a 10 limit inside that, we the people, look inside to count and respectfully wait to go in. Everyone is very easy going with everyone! Strike up conversations at random and you will find favorites among people. And that is a reflection of what this Gamestop is. If this specific Gamestop was in another city within county, id rather go to this team.
Experiencia negativa: One of the men that works here is absolutely awful. Every question seems to be painful for him to answer. He doesn't want to help you in any way shape or form. Heaven forbid he should have to do his job! I cannot speak for the other employees, but as long as he works at this location, I will be going to other stores. Do not risk encountering this man unless you cannot go elsewhere.

Telling me that my pre ordered game is not available that she cant find it on the computer and tries to give me a different game instead WTF?! Worst gamestop store ever wasted the pre order bonus. Went to another gamestop, they check theyre system it says that store has 11 copies but the lady did not bother to look for my game.... not coming back here and I want my refund!!!

Experiencia negativa: Constantly short staffed. Nothing against any employee they are simply spread too thin for the various things they all have to do. The biggest gripe I have every person selling video games already knows all too well. Their buying prices are absolutely atrocious. 30 bucks for 40+ xbox one games? There is absolutely no way anyone in their right mind should be ever selling to gamestop. I sold 10 of the 40 to game exchange in Brentwood for 30 cash.

Experiencia positiva: They don't always have have what you're looking for, but most employees are very polite and know what they are talking about. When they don't know, they try to search for you and will at least provide the next thing you should try to do. This store is very generous with their exchange and return policies and are a sell a decent mix of games and gaming culture items. They also have a pretty varied online service as well for more vintage games. Unless you're looking for obscure games, this should be the first place you call.

Experiencia positiva: It's a great store with great staff. The only downside about this GameStop is that it is very small. On the weekends there's going to be long lines and there's going to be a smaller selection of items. If you are looking for something really specific it's best to call the store first before going in yourself. other than that waiting in the long lines is worth it since the staff is really great at giving customer service. If you want to beat the line though advice to go in the morning when it opens or late at night when it's about to close.

The purchase showed up on my account, but due to company policy I wasn't able to get a cash refund unless I had the receipt... or the employee that helped me before could vouch for me. The person I talked to let me know when to come back in so I could talk to that employee, and when I returned he was able to help me right away. I'm very appreciative that they took the time to see how they could help me.

I had to purchase the cases without a game in it, drive to another location, return the empty case and repurchase the game at the new store. Talk about inconvenience! The one game this store had in stock turned out to be scratched. So I go back today to return it. Guess what, they don't have the game. He offers to have one shipped to my house so I don't have to go to the other store again. Then tells me I'll have to pay shipping which is almost the cost of the game itself! I say no thank you and ask if there is anything he can do to compensate me for having to come down here and drive to the other store 2 to fix their mistakes. He tells me no I just need to be inconvenienced. To date that is 4 mistakes on this particular stores part and here I am having to go out of my way to fix their screw up yet again. This store should be closed because they aren't helping anyone with anything what so ever...
