Experiencia negativa: I was there yesterday evening 1/5/25 with my son. A mom and her toddler were there as well. The kid knocked over a plastic cup, and mom picked it up right away. The employee came and stood by the shelf. She then told the mom and kid "If your not gonna pay for it, don't touch it with your hands...just look with your eyes" Which was very rude and disrespectful!!! Nothing was broken, it fell from a bottom shelf! The employee was a younger woman, with brown short hair and glasses. She's lucky, she didn't say that to my kid!

Experiencia negativa: I was in this store last week 10/9/24 trying to sell my PS4. (I had it plugged in at my house working fine not 24 hours earlier.) The lady gets it all hooked up and then explains to me that they sell it as a bundle. I didn’t bring everything for the bundle so didn’t get a very good price for it. I came back in 10/15/24 with everything. The second lady plugged it in and nothing happened with the hdmi. She then stated that the hdmi port was broken. I didn’t want to cause a scene because it wasn’t this ladies fault. The first lady was in fact very rough with my console and wasn’t very polite either. I will be calling corporate and complaining highly. YOU BREAK IT, YOU BUY IT!

Experiencia negativa: The employee was nice but she had a friend who was there that acted very rude and inappropriate and told them about my past it hurt me so much I am going to be talking to the manager about that... There's a time to have friends around and your work is not it!!!!!!

Experiencia positiva: I would give this GameStop a 3/5. I would’ve given it a ( because I love the products but an employee had bothered me. When I went in yesterday I went up to pay and the employee was nice but he told me that he was going to sign me up for a membership. I didn’t know what it was nor did I ask for him to sign me up. He explained all the things about it except for the fact that they did charge for a person to be in the membership. I bought things worth maybe 19 dollars and I ended up having to pay for a 25 dollar membership I did not want. I asked him “wait you’re charging me to sign up with my email?” And he said that he explained it to me then charged me. Now I have a membership I don’t want

Experiencia negativa: I bought a used Xbox 1S for $200 expecting it to run decently without many problems. When I got home to set it up I noticed the download speed was lower than usual and it took a lot longer for a basic games to Download. I didn’t think anything of it until I booted up one of the games, it ran alright until it crashed, I did this multiple times until I assumed the worst. I tried factory resetting it, but it has been frozen since. I have tried to call the game stop, but they haven’t answered. I think that this game stop sold me a Xbox with a possible hardware defect.

Experiencia positiva: Most of the time I go in here and I have an awesome experience. Today 06/14/23 was not the case. I walked in with a friend and the cashier did not greet us as we walked in. The store reeked of the smell of marijuana. I couldn't stay in it for more than 3 minutes without becoming unable to breathe and the headache I already had worsening. I understand maybe needing only one employee for opening and closing, but they do need breaks so they can go outside and smoke if they need to.

Experiencia negativa: Bought 2 games, gta 2-4, and cyberpunk. The GTA trilogy is on a single disk and pretty hard to mess up. The cyberpunk however was supposed to come with 2 disks, and I only got disk 2 even after he checked. Now their saying call gamestop the company and the company told me there's nothing they can do about it. All I wanted was the disk I paid for and they won't even help, stating it's someone else's problem.

Experiencia negativa: On December 30th, my friend and I walked into this store, started browsing the shelves, and several minutes later a female employee came over and very rudely stated we had to leave because the store had 4 customers already and it could only have 5 total. Guess I've found the one store in town that has ridiculous and ineffective social distancing policies. I will not be returning to any Gamestops, and especially this one for such a rude employee.

Experiencia negativa: My son came in the Empire Mall GameStop to buy a game. He was really excited, he walked to check out. Alyssa started with are you sure you want this, My son said yeah, she asked twice??? Her condescending rude attitude was not unnoticed. Then she went on with her narrative I said no thanks he just wants to pay for his game, she replied with I have to say all this, I said ok. Then instead of continuing with her speech of offering something we already refused, she went on to say “if you don’t like it you can shop online, then went on to say you people are always like this” to my ever so patient 12 year old son. Then went on with her speech. I told her that was abrasive and she said she didn’t care. Way to ruin an experience Alyssa. As I left a guy stopped me and said she has had racial remarks before. Alyssa needs customer service training on race and her comments.

Experiencia negativa: Female employee practically assaulted my 7 year old daughter. This game stop has a Gashapon machine inside their store. My daughter was excited to see that they had one of the items she wanted and placed her coin in the machine a got the toy out. The employee then asked her if she purchased the coin from her, my husband told her “no” but we can purchase from her. The employee then proceeded to rip the toy out of my 7 year olds hands and told us that we were stealing. She then took the toy behind the counter and held onto it. We proceeded to purchase the coin from her and explained that all she needed to do was tell us, the parents, that we needed to purchase a coin from her and that we couldn’t use one of our own. She claimed again that is was theft and refused to give us any number to contact any kind of management. We stole nothing! We didn’t leave the store with it. What’s the difference between that and my daughter holding a game or other item in her hands until we purchase it? This could have been handled so much better. But this employee was terrible and kept telling us that we were stealing. Maybe GameStop should have better training on how not to assault children?

Experiencia negativa: Manager was extremely rude to my 8yr old son, I don't believe the manager knew I was in the store. My son tried on a hat this was (1 year ago) and the manager said to my son, you tried it on now you have to buy it. My son told him he didn't have any money and he told him to call his parents and that's when I stepped in. I was infuriated, what a sad man.

Experiencia fantástica: My 6 year old son picked out a game that was a little too advanced for him. We took the game back, but we're beyond the return policy. The employee we were dealing with was very understanding since we were unaware of the policy and graciously allowed my son to exchange the game and also gave him a gift card with the remaining balance!
