Was told my pre orders would be held and they were sold at the miscommunication of someone working there. Voiced my frustration with the lady and the entire time was condescending saying things like “idk what u want me to do” and I said it several times I’m voicing my frustration and hopefully you can communicate to your staff about the miscommunication and she said “ ya but I’ve already done that” disgusting behaviour staff. No customer service or care

Experiencia negativa: They never answer their phone. Why? GameStop at this point need to just throw the towel in. GameStop in this location let alone worldwide is never busy. There is no excuse to not be able to answer the phone when literally nobody usually goes there unless they actually have to have a genuine question about stock but yet, this location never answers their phone and I’ve called her multiple times during the day
Experiencia negativa: Just so you know Mr whoever answered the phone today is Labor Day. You didn’t have to be condescending . I asked if you were open because it’s Labor Day and google says hours may differ. You said to me google says we are open at 12. Implying that I look at google instead of bothering to call an inconvenience you.
Experiencia fantástica: Just stopped in for 10 mins driving around between appointments. Bought 3 items. In the time I browsed the guy working helping 5 groups. He was nice and helpful to everyone. He offered the normal things I know he's required too but did it with kindness and not pushy. I'd definitely come back. Great employee. Don't screw it up GS and lose a real one.

Experiencia negativa: Avoid andrew jackson a big over weight white male who hides pokemon product. I went there to buy some product for me and my kids and he hide them in the back. I asked him for it and he scuffed at me and laughed. He brough it out and when i was price matching he was rolling his eyes. I showed him price matching but he said he couldnt do it since this price match location was 3 hours away. There i no policy that says you cant do this. I will be refusing to buy from gamestop until this man is fired. He probably just wants to buy it for himself so he is hiding it and not allowing customers to purchase it.

Experiencia positiva: It's a gamestop, unless it's your first time in. You already know what to expect. The selection is a bit limited now. Wih the rise in digital media. While the pricing still isn't that great, you're better off just buying new. Unless it's an older game. While the trotsky's and apparel have been severely limited. Which can be good or bad depending on if you like that sort of thing. Staff is helpful/non existent depending on who's working. Locations a bit odd. So, unless you know it's already there you'll drive right past the location and not even realize it.

Experiencia negativa: Hello everyone this gamestop is in a wonderful location and usually has a lot of awesome things aside from the employees. I shouldn’t say all employees, because some are really nice and helpful. There is this one employee I don’t know his name, but he is very rude, condescending, discriminatory, and today was the last straw. My experience today was horrible let me explain. I was the first one in the store and I ask where the playstation 5 headsets are and he points me in the direction. I say thank you and continue to browse around and look at the headsets. Another customer comes in and is looking to trade in a playstation 4 controller. The man trading in the controller didnt seem to speak the best english and he was trying to trade his controller in for in-store credit to purchase a new controller. The employee automatically assumes he is trying to trade the controller for cash and throws an actual fit saying he cant trade any thing in for cash right now because the system wont let him. Im still at the headset section just listening and in the middle of it i ask if after hes done he can help me get this headset down so i can purchase it. He says okay and continues on and finally gets the mans purchase done with. Not even 1 minute after that customer leave another customer comes in and wants to do trade in for cash and the employee says okay!! I was already mad because he completely skipped me and helped another customer but he also honored a cash trade in when he cried about the last customer who didnt even want to do a cash trade in all because the second customer spoke better english. I believe this employee needs to be dealt with and reprimanded immediately.
Experiencia negativa: Customer service was fine but when you call and ask for a price quote there gonna tell you one number then when you get to the store there gonna tell you a different number and there gonna want all the original things that come with the thing you are trying to sell so you would just be better off going to a pawn shop

Experiencia negativa: Rude person no help their name was Madisyn, rudest person passive aggressive and no help. Told me to go to another store even though this store called me. My pre orders are at 2 different stores. They also said my ID was invalid so I couldn't get my money back. What a racket Gamestop is a scam even more than before. Never again.
Experiencia negativa: Was told they couldnt sell any game systems. Called all other GameStops in the area and said that only applied to new consoles. So I went back and asked if I could buy the one that all the other stores said I could buy. The cashier, Thomas(?) said there was nothing he could do. Has anyone ever had a positive experience at GameStop? Whether you were offered $0.30 for a game that's a month old, or general incompetence. I try to give the benefit of the doubt to these employees, because I know they're just there to do a job. But this company is a mess from the top down. If I can order it online and pick it up, how does it make sense that I can't buy it in store?

However the Gamestop associate was very friendly and knowledgeable as to why no controllers are in stock. I then found other collectibles and figures that seemed to be exclusive to gamestop and I still left a happy customer despite not obtaining what I originally had come for.

Experiencia fantástica: AMAZING Management and wonderful transparent staff. I was fortunate to get to this location for the PS5 online order drop. 6th in line of the 7 available. Took some time but staff was fully transparent and worked with corporate to get us all checked out. Have heard some horror stories of locations telling people they were SoL after waiting 4 hours in line. This was not the case here. Once the system went down, Michael was on the phone with corp and other locations to get everything sorted out. The entire staff went above and beyond with little to no preparation. They all deserve a raise.

Experiencia fantástica: For a gamestop this is one of the better ones I have been to in the country. The employees make it seem more like a local business and are ready to engage with anyone about inquiry or what's coming Bryn is a good example of that.

Experiencia negativa: 9/25/2019 3:00 I brought in several video games and a ps4 (Ps4 was missing the hdmi cable) I knew the condition of the console , still in very good condition. Rory, was the employee that helped at first he was pleasant. Explaining that in order for them to accept the console: 1. I would have to purchase the hdmi cable 2. I would also have to purchase the controller Which sounded odd but I agreed. I asked for a quote before consulting with my son on whether he wanted store credit or cash to go toward his car. Rory then tallied up the value of the games, inspected the ps4, and subtracted the amount for the additional parts I had to purchase for them to then sell. The total i was to receive was: 1. $215 store credit -or- 2. $158 cash We decided to take the cash. Upon completion of transaction. I signed twice. It was then Rory explained to me the first signature was to acknowledge and agree upon the amount verified on screen of $158. Second signature was the agreement that gamestop was now owner of the items I had brought in. All was good at this point. *THIS WAS THE SIGNED AGREEMENT * When it came to pay out, he then told me, it was only going to be $111! I said no, that is not what we agreed on. That is not what I signed on. He made some excuse about how their was additional charges... this was not what had happen. I had seen on the screen all charges, I scrolled through and there was the-$ for the additional items I needed to buy for them to buy the ps4. It was then I stated I wanted the $158 in cash that we agreed on. He talked to his manager. Rory then said unfortunately we can only offer you $111. I again refused a d told him. I wanted the $158 we agreed on or I want my items back! Rory then stated "unfortunately the agreement you signed states that these items are now gamestops" he refused to give me back my things!!! I repeated I want the amount we agreed on or I want my stuff back. He talked to the manager again and continued to deny either of my requests. After stating one last time I wanted all money owed or my things, I was so frustrated. I did not want to do business. I wanted to take my things and leave. He refused to give me them. I then told him I was going to call the police if he did not return my items to me. He still refused. After having to call the police, and file a report. The officer went into the building and with in moments returned and said they're going to give you your stuff. Then! When I went in to retrieve my items, it was then the manager came out from the back room and says to me " we would have just given you your stuff back" NO THEY WOULDN'T HAVE! I had to go to.the extent of calling the police in order to have them fix their wrong doing. HOW UNPROFESSIONAL! Do not shop here! Not only are they rude but have no intention of making a wrong situation right. This whole thing could have been avoided and the lengths I went to to get MY belongings returned were unnecessary. They will take advantage of anyone who will not hold them to their end of the agreement.

The sales person was so rude telling me "he could help me but they wouldn't be making any money." Who says that?! I have spent 1200 dollars their in the last year, what a joke. Experiencia negativa: Preordered a game as a gift. Came in a week after release and they gave me a used copy. Said they were out of new copies, and told me I couldn't pick a new one at a different store.
Experiencia negativa: There was an employee here who lied that my PS3 console had a broken HDMI port and was only worth $20. Before taking it to the store I had already tested the port and system for malfunctions and it was running smoothly without anything wrong. Knowing that everything with my PS3 was fine, I took it to a different gamestop and got $55, the proper amount. I forget the employee's name but he worked 8pm May 22nd. Not cool at all for being dishonest.
