Experiencia negativa: Every time I’ve visited this GameStop, a few of the workers have been a bit racist towards women, especially African American black women. On May 4, 2026, at 11:20 am, for instance, the guy at the register was very condescending. He started speaking to me as though I lacked education, which was not the case. I want to go into more detail, but this has happened every time I’ve tried to visit this location. Today was by far worse. From the moment I walked in, I felt uncomfortable. However, I decided to drive to Fairfield, where I had a much better experience and was welcomed. To the lady who was also working at the register, you noticed his behavior and tried to be pleasant, but in the end, I guess you all stick together instead of doing what’s right.

Experiencia negativa: The employees are useless, rude and ignorant. Don't know the dates of release parties or get them wrong. I asked the employee who told me false information. Because of their ignorance I missed out on a release party. Too late now. They'd be more beneficial working for a vacuum company because they suck. They're rude and don't understand common curiosity. i thought maybe I would support them. But now I know going out of my way to support them will back fire.

Experiencia negativa: Yah this stores wack, yesterday I bought a used Mario cart deluxe for $54. Got home today to play it and when I open the case it was the wrong game. I called the store and they said come back they'll take care of it. I get there and they tell me I owe $6 for the same game cause the price went up from yesterday. So their employee messed up and didn't check the game, and I have to pay for the mistake? They have cameras right at the counter I said look at that and watch your employee not check then the one guy looked at the manager and said who they thought it was like it happen before. I wasted my time and fuel. Manager is useless imo. Its not the money its the principal. Save yourself the time and money buy off Facebook market place.

Experiencia fantástica: I went to the Fairfield store since they had Crown Zenith ETBs in stock just for the store employee to give me attitude and tell me that my pro membership wasn’t valid at the store due to a system glitch she told me to go to another store and figure it out, came into the Vallejo location where the store manager Gray and assistant manager Jade heard my situation and quickly found a solution, this store gave me by far the best customer experience I’ve received in years, it’s truly amazing what a smile and kindness can do for a persons day. Wish I could give more stars ⭐️

Experiencia negativa: Trash works here. Telling me they don’t see the purchase on my account, I just made the purchase three days prior, and I verified my account. I was doing a trade in, so they even verified it with my ID. Made the purchase for $60. Then they wouldn’t do the return, and offered me $17 as a trade in. Yall suck.

Experiencia negativa: I love this company, but this store has awful management. Either there is an absolute failure in communication across staff or employees are incompetent and just lying to your face. I have done device trade ins with GameStop for years and for some reason the store manager, Donnie, doesn't want to process trade ins or is just unwilling to work with people like me. Donnie told me that GameStop does not accept carrier locked cellphones for trade ins yet Tyler at the Fairfield location had no issues. I even returned to the location to show that he is providing contradicting information and he proceeded to blame me for the miscommunication. His story after I showed my receipts from Fairfield was that he understood "locked" as "blacklisted" or at least that's the only logical conclusion that I could come to given my person experience in the telecommunications field. Donnie gas lighted me over and over again and then said I was wrong after I clearly got the service that he failed to deliver. I will continue to do business with GameStop, but not with the Vallejo store under its current management. After dealing with Donnie multiple times, he has given me incorrect information regarding acceptable trade in times and acceptable trade in devices. He is either poorly trained or approaching individual transactions with discriminatory behavior. 'm an investor and believer in GameStop, but if retail is going to survive, it's not with people who behave like this.

Experiencia positiva: My Nephews (14 & 11), got $$ from my older sister. We were near a GameStop....guess where they wanted to go? Ice cream store? NO.....GameStop. I went in with them. It took about 20 minutes...they kinda knew what they wanted, separately, of course. Apparently you need adult to enter with minors. I enjoyed the visit (and the lady customer with shorts & tattoos up & down her legs) .

Experiencia negativa: I went and priced a bunch of items I was going to be buying and gamestop failed bad by alot even when it comes to gamestops pre-owned items I still found a better deal, cheaper prices on BRAND-NEW items from Target in the same shopping center! controller, games, and headsets saved about 35 dollars I would have lost at game stop

Experiencia positiva: Itnisna gaming paradise dont get me wrong. Just don't sell your stuff there, their offers are insulting. Their mark ups on used items is absolutely ridiculous. But they do have things for gaming no one else has. Also, shop around when looking at preowned items. I have found some items cheaper new at Wal-Mart.
