The cashier was standing there chatting up a customer or whoever it was, meanwhile the line was growing and he’s still standing there talking about his personal affairs. Maybe do your job?? That would have been awesome. Edit: Came back because I was on a time crunch. The service was 5x better than the first time. Customer service was good, the clerk explained and answered all questions, and was respectful as well. In lieu of this second visit, I gave it another try afterward and wasn’t disappointed! Upgrade from 1 star to 5. They’ve consistently shown improvement, so we go here from now on. Thumbs up

Experiencia negativa: I would give 0 stars if it would let me. I have been calling for 3 hrs and Noone will answer the phone. I guess they don't want my money. I will not do business there again. It used to be a great store. Best Buy it is.
Experiencia negativa: They never answer the phone, anytime I call them to see if they have something before I go no matter the day or time. This is the only store closest to me after they closed down the silsbee store, I live about 30 minutes away.
Experiencia negativa: I've called three different times in the last hour and no one picks up. And going by the graph on Google saying it's not busy at all. I can only assume they're being lazy and not picking up the phone. What's sad is there's only two GameStops in the area and both of them are pretty bad at customer service. They don't call you when you have a pre-order in anymore so I'm just wanting to know is my pre-order in cuz I don't want to drive 20 mi into town if I don't have to. Only to be told that my pre-order isn't in. It's no wonder that all these other online places that ship to your house or apparently the of the future. I should have gotten it shipped to my house but then it would have gotten near in another two more days and I really wanted to know if my game was in so I could play it this weekend. I mean at least had to come and courtesy to call people like they used to. I remember the store down by Kroger. Usually always called me early during the day to let me know my pre-order was in and that was a good store. This one is on par with the Port Arthur store which that store is horrible. So I decided to do my business here because the last two pre-orders I did were Port Arthur. They never came in and they wouldn't call you either. I guess GameStop will learn pretty soon. They're not the only place that has games. I guess I need to suck it up and just order from Amazon or vgp games or and just buy it straight from the GameStop app. Then I know I'll have it due to tracking. Within a couple of days. You'd think they'd have really good customer service considering how everything's going to digital nowadays, which I don't like digital and I keep buying physical trying to support these places, but what's the point when you don't pick up your phone? I'm going to attempt to call a fourth time within another hour. Because I live 20 miles. I don't want to drive all the way into town and have that happen to me again like I did at the previous store.
Experiencia negativa: The worker was five minutes late (at 12 in the afternoon, how hard is it to wake up on time???) then proceeded to tell us that it would take him 15 minutes to get everything set up. We asked if we could look around (it was my little brother’s 16th birthday so it was special) and he said “unfortunately not”. So we went to the Beaumont Walmart and they had a much better selection of games for less. If you can’t get up on time to get to work, you shouldn’t have that job. End of story. I understand no one wants to work that job so he knows they won’t fire him, but I think they should prove him wrong.

Experiencia negativa: Don't buy anything from them the will not help you even if you get a warranty first I got an Xbox from them that was messed up when I took it back they said they couldn't take it under warranty and said I needed to trade it in and get a new one so I did and it's been 3 months on new Xbox played it 3 times and controllers not working so I bring it back and they said that the 2 year warranty I got doesn't cover controllers that I'd have to buy a new one do yourself a favor and just buy one new off the internet at least you won't get junk also asked for store manager number they won't give it to me so guess I'm going to call the BBB
Experiencia negativa: The manager at the East TX Freeway in Beaumont TX location, Benjamin, is super disrespectful. They should get zero stars. Filed a complaint against the employee for the way he spoke to my 9 year old and myself. Just go to the one on Dowlen. Much friendlier and better customer service!!
Experiencia fantástica: Ben is the man!!! He was so kind and helpful, made the shopping experience very enjoyable. His knowledge and customer service is top notch. Would definitely recommend going and seeing Ben if you have any gaming needs.

She is a school employee and wearing her teacher's ID. It's antiquated store policies like this that have driven the stock price of Game Stop from $50 in 2015 to $9 today.

Experiencia negativa: Went to buy, far cry 5 which was at 17.99 and when I came at counter that clerk was going to charge me 22.99 +tx. I reminded him that it's on sale Today and the p4 disk is at 17.99. He didn't listen and spoke rudely saying this is what he is getting on his machine. I left the place empty handed. I like to shop at gamestop but people like this make it unbearable.
