Experiencia negativa: I called at 1pm, 130pm,2pm, and now 234pm and not one person wanted to answer that dang phone! It's too bad bc I was gonna buy a PS5 and an Xbox Series X with 1 game for each console today but before I came in I wanted to know if the games were in stock or else I'd order them online but no answer. I will order everything online and not from GameStop.

Experiencia negativa: Reserved to pick up a game around 11 pm the day before. Website said “pick-up as soon as tomorrow”. Boyfriend had a shift until 3 pm and was driving to go pick it up. He receives an email saying our reservation has been cancelled and we were refunded the payment. Terrible system. Do not bother with ordering anything online for pick-up. They will just give it to someone who wants to buy it in the meantime anyway.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a really great experience at GameStop and wanted to highlight how friendly and patient the staff were during my recent visit. I went in to trade in my Xbox Series X and purchase the new Nintendo Switch 2, and the whole process couldn’t have gone smoother. The employees were welcoming right from the start, especially Lexi, who assisted me with both my trade-in and purchase. She took the time to walk me through each step of the trade-in process, explained everything clearly, and answered all my questions without ever making me feel rushed. I really appreciated her patience, especially since I had a few things to figure out before finalizing the trade. Manager Shannon was just as helpful—super approachable and genuinely focused on making sure I had a positive experience. He double-checked everything, made sure I was getting the best deal possible, and kept the process moving efficiently while still making it feel relaxed and stress-free. When it came to purchasing the Nintendo Switch 2, Lexi continued to be just as attentive, helping me pick out what I needed and making sure I was all set before I left. Overall, the customer service was outstanding. It’s clear the team really cares about their customers, and it made a potentially stressful transaction feel easy and enjoyable. Experiencia negativa: Walked in, dude at the counter was talking on his Bluetooth earpiece from 2004 and walks in the back while still on the phone, doesn't greet me or nothing. Other employee is helping some customers finish a transaction. I stand there and wait until he's done. Once he finishes the transaction he then proceeds to put used games in their lil drawer behind the counter, doesn't greet me either. After about 5 mins of this awkward silence I asked my question, and without checking or anything, he's just like "Yeah....I'm not sure.." like it was answering my question with a question. I just walked out. Do better.

Experiencia negativa: Called a couple of times with no answer called the third time 5 minutes before pulling up still no answer walked in to no customers in sight. the two employees (one was on his cellphone) didn't greet me upon walking in I asked if the phones weren't working his excuse was they were busy assisting customers with a horrible attitude then proceeded to tell me visit the website if I was looking for something. horrible store terrible experience with two useless clowns

Experiencia negativa: I took my son up there to get some Pokémon cards at 3:45pm. There was a piece of paper on the door that said “at lunch back at 4:30” mind you the “open” sign was off. My son was really looking forward to getting some Pokémon cards. So I agreed to take him back. We got back at 4:32 and there was another sign that said out from 4:30-5. That is very frustrating and bad for business. I don’t like leaving reviews in general but this had me pissed.

Experiencia negativa: Store was closed for break (understandable as these places usually have 1-2 employees during later hours) it read gone at 5:10 back at 5:30-6 that hour passed by with nothing from the store then we proceeded to wait another 30 minutes without an employee which suck I really wanted to just buy 1 thing and this was the only spot.

Experiencia negativa: Avoid this GameStop. The cashier tried to add a 1 year insurance plan and charge me for it without asking, and this has happened more than once. That is dishonest and shows a clear pattern of bad business. They also never answer the phone when you call. When you try to sell games, they offer only a few dollars for items that are worth much more. This store has serious issues with transparency and customer respect. I would strongly recommend going somewhere else.

Experiencia negativa: Jesus Christ, this is the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Gamestop. Some kid brought in a box of garbage to sell, and the guy at the counter painstakingly has taken over an hour to get through it and he’s still going (I left since it was pointless to stay any longer than an hour, literally until closing). He ignored all other customers who were actually going to buy things waiting forever for him to notice or have the customer ask to be helped so they could leave. I get that the kid brought in a box of garbage to go through, but he should’ve taken one look at that box and just told the kid he wasn’t gonna get anything for it. It was all old and trashed and gross. He could’ve also been way faster getting through those trades. I’ve worked at Gamestop before, it shouldn’t take you over an hour to get through a small handful of games and some wires if you know what you’re doing. I had stuff to trade too to buy a Nintendo Switch 2 and some controllers and games, everything in perfect condition and I bet this guy still would’ve taken forever to do it. The worst customer service.

The lady that answered the phone was EXTREMELY rude for no reason wouldn’t look up my order and kept hanging up on me. I was very polite and she kept cutting me off. She lucky I’m a changed woman and I choose to report her instead of going up there and showing out. She wouldn’t give me her name but I hope whoever runs this store gives her a class on customer service.

Experiencia negativa: Shady practices or improperly trained employees.. went to trade in an Xbox One x for a Xbox series x and the employee was very sloppy.. plugged in my Xbox to test it and insisted the controller didn't work.. told me I had to buy a used one for $35 to turn around and trade toward the console value .. if I didn't even would have to defect the whole trade and cancel it..I insisted on going home and grabbing another controller .. came back and it was a repeat issue . I noticed he only plugged in a micro usb.. which would turn on a controller but it won't work because it isn't the right power source..he asked his boss and he said to try using batteries and syncing it to the xbox.. go figure it completely worked..so are they doing purposely doing this to sell people a used controller? If you didn't know better you would be forced to buy a new controller.I also mentioned that I literally went home for nothing just now and they didn't say sorry. I had to ask for him to retest the 1st controller..he said the button was sticky so I have to take it as a refurbished. I mentioned you can just iso alcohol clean it and they didn't say anything.. tried to upsell me a monthly warranty for $10 a month for my Xbox.. insisted I was saving money buying it instead of just the standard warranty.. I asked how the much the standard two year warranty was ..it was only "$70"..how is spending $170 more over two years saving me me money ?They replace all items at GameStop under both warranties well . So why would I pay $170 more over the same course and time ?Also the manager was beside this employee during both transactions. Over all bad experience. Don't shop here

Experiencia negativa: I usually don’t leave any reviews for any company but I just had to say something. I am surprised that GameStop is even existing now. Games are super expensive and the person that was working was not helpful at all. I asked him a few questions and he was very short with me and offered no guidance. I was trying to start a small conversation with him and he was not responding and it was really awkward. He kept on pushing to sign up for the rewards program and I told him I was not interested. I asked if they price matched and he said no and I found the same game I was purchasing online for a 3rd of the cost. Honestly they should shut them down, how is that I could buy the same game online for a lot cheaper. Mind you, target and Walmart had it cheaper than they did. I will never step foot in a GameStop again

Experiencia negativa: This GameStop is the biggest joke. Waited in line forever for the pre-order release. I only wanted the new Zelda Collector's Edition as we already had the digital edition. Didn't matter if you were the first one in line or not. You didn't get it as they played favoritism and let people CUT IN LINE. Claimed they were there earlier in the day and "pre-ordered it". The Collector's Edition wasn't even able to be pre-ordered. Essentially, they played favoritism and just told their buddies to show up at Midnight and they could cut in front of 50+ people as long as they had a pre-order for the regular edition. Never EVER shopping here ever again.

We traded my consoles and I got my bundle. Tricia was awesome, the experience was the best I had at GameStop in a long time! She went above and beyond while also helping everyone else that came in.

Experiencia negativa: Tall/large white gentleman who works there is extremely rude. A product was unmarked and I wanted to know the price and he refused to tell me a price while, instead, working on a large trade in. The trade in was so large that if I had to wait I would've been there for at least 30 more minutes. I don't think he understands how simple the task was and my cell phone signal was bad in the store so I couldn't load the GameStop website to check myself.
