Experiencia negativa: I went to purchase a wired power a controller from this location. Mya was the person working. Upon walking in I say "hey, how are you" she says hey, wish I wasn't here. I said sorry, I didn't hear you, she says, wish I wasn't here. I said ok. So I ask if the controllers by power a have paddles, she says all of the controllers in front of me have paddles. I say ok. I wait by the register because she seems like she didn't care, she then goes to Get my controller, which is locked so I can't even read the back to see if they have paddles. Upon arriving home, I open the controller, and it doesn't have paddles, I call back, she is very unprofessional, she says I said they might or might not have paddles, which is a complete lie. The camera will show what's said. I wasted my time and money. Very unacceptable. Would not recommend this location, and she doesn't deserve to be a game stop associate. Would rate lower than 1 star if possible.

Experiencia fantástica: I'm 29-years old, and I've been a Gamestop customer for as long as I can remember. While going to Gamestop was always a joy as a child, as an adult I've often found myself disappointed with the customer service and quality assurance, especially in recent years. Perhaps it's just the times, or my own aging. However, this location brought a smile to my face over the holidays. I went to buy a game with my daughter just before Christmas, and decided last-minute to sneakily buy a "gift from Santa" for my daughter while she wasn't looking. The 2 attendants there (I think one of them is the manager) went above and beyond to help me to buy the game without my daughter fully realizing. I've generally had consistently good experiences with this location over the years, which I can't say for most other locations I've been to in the triangle. Thanks Brier Creek gamestop team for being a step above the rest
Experiencia negativa: Avoid this location. Bought a game on Sunday, needed to swap the game because I found out someone bought it for me for Christmas. I came to swap and they can’t process the return because they entered the sale as a new game but sold me a pre-owned and their system can’t process it now because of their mistake. Never even opened the game. Just a “I’m sorry. The system won’t let me do anything.”. Bummer.
Experiencia fantástica: I recently bought a Nintendo switch and needed help transferring the players and progress to the new console, the team was super helpful and spent an hour trouble shooting. The entire team is very knowledgeable and helpful. After an hour of trouble shooting Mr Zak made my sons day when the transfer was complete. Thank You Adam, Zak and Robin for excellent customer service.
Experiencia negativa: By far the WORST at answering phones...31 calls in 2 hours?! Seriously what the hell. I am over an hour away and you're the only one who has what i looking for. Is it really that hard to put your hands on an item that's behind you on the shelf...so yes I am gonna call before making that trip...
Experiencia negativa: Probably one of my least favorite retailers to purchase items from to be honest i actively try to avoid it just because of the check out process and the fact that if anything goes wrong after the purchase point you're probably just screwed. Gamestop just really doesnt seem to care about their customers at all and that is why i usually regret buying things from them. That being said I bought a ps5 literally a week ago. I should add that the process of buying my ps5 took well over an hour because there was a customer just talking to the clerk about some game for quite a while. Then when it was my turn to check out the guy tried to sell me a bunch of stuff i dont need. Then today i randomly saw the price of the ps5 dropped $50. so I went back to get a price adjustment and they said they don't do price adjustments. Almost every retailer does price adjustments within 14 days of the purchase. Smh another reason to hate gamestop. I wish I had bought my ps5 anywhere else, i'd be getting $50 back. I'm going to try my hardest to never buy anything else from gamestop.

First he had a line and was talking horrible about the company. He said he was store manager of triangle town center location , please don't bad mouth the company that signs your paycheck if you don't like it find another job it is unprofessional. Great customer service is meeting needs in timely manner.

Then walks away as I walked up to pay without saying anything. Just set my stuff down and left. Terrible customer service.

Experiencia fantástica: I am so beyond thrilled with the team at this store. Both the associate, Xavier, and the manager (I believe he said his name was Jared?) we’re incredibly helpful. I had ordered a refurbished PS4 online as a Christmas present for my dad, but when it arrived the disc drive didn’t work. After several days of not being able to get through to the corporate customer service team, I went to several gamestops in the area and none of them could help me. The Brier Creek location was my last hope. Not only were they able to replace the console, they ensured I had everything I needed for my Dad’s Christmas present, they gave me some tips on how to avoid the situation in the future, and they were overall SO kind and helpful to me, a very frazzled and overwhelmed pregnant lady. I live all the way across town but I will only come to this location from now on - I’ve never experienced such attentive and awesome customer service before. They clearly care about their jobs, the store, their team, and their customers. I am so impressed and so thankful.
Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely LOVE this GameStop and not just because of its convenient location. Every visit has been and enjoyable experience. The staff is always welcoming and knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. The store itself is always clean and well stocked, with isles easily navigated, and clear visible signage. On a personal note, Jared has always gone above and beyond, bringing professionalism and engaging energy, he is a pure delight. He remembers and personally greets the store regulars, as I observed on my first visit, and he has since done with me. He makes a point to understand the customers, our preferences and interests, to recommend games in a way that feels personal and not smarmy or salesy. On my visit today to pick up a copy of Pokémon Scarlet, he recalled my gameplay preferences and gave me a heads up about some gameplay mechanics in the game. He also made me aware of some minor frame rate lag reported in the newly released Pokémon games, and offered the protection plan to ensure that I was protected if I was unhappy with gameplay experience as a result. Skillfully done, again, this felt like a genuine gesture and NOT a hawkish upscale tactic. Every other game advisor at this location has been similarly friendly, informative, and helpful. Love coming to visit so much that I put off buying Scarlet while at Target today just to pop in here! Thank you Jared & Team! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Experiencia fantástica: Honestly man I’ve been to a lot of game stops in my time and I’ve been a massive disappointment except for one of capital so I figured I’d give this one a try and see how it goes but if it went bad I was going to ban this company for life. With that being said the manager was the nicest one that I’ve encountered more in formidable and this will now be my current only go to GameStop in the area.

Experiencia negativa: Called the store to see if they had a specific game, Sakuna. They were the last gamestop in the area to have it, and it was the last copy. They said they would put the game on hold for us as we were driving 30 minutes out just to see them. Okay awesome! Except it turns out we get to the store and they already sold that last copy to someone else. So the trip was a waste. Next time just say you can't put a game on hold if you're not going to. EDIT: Just found out that the game was bought just before they could hold our order. Which still really sucks. At that point we wish they would have called us right back to tell us before we drove all that way.

Experiencia negativa: Bought an xbox controller from this exact location around 3 months ago, paid for the protection plan on it as well. Was told I wouldn't need the receipt or the warranty sticker since the transaction would be linked to my rewards account. Been having problems with the controller so I decided to return it under the protection plan to get a new one. Being that it's been a few months and I was told I wouldn't need the receipt or warranty sticker, I couldn't locate either so I went to try and return it anyways. The store informed me that they can only see the past 5 transactions my rewards account had made. I had just recently purchased a console bundle that was appearing as 5 separate transactions so I was told that I couldn't return the controller. Obviously, I'm somewhat at fault as well for not keeping my documentation, but it's still pretty frustrating that there was little to no effort put forth on their part to reconcile the situation. Thanks for nothing, GameStop!

Experiencia negativa: In all my years of buying at GameStop never have I had this type of experience. The fact that I have to give any stars for this location infuriates me but we are here to talk about my experience so here we go. I have visited this location over 10 times and 10 out of 10 times I am never greeted. But today was the final straw and I will never visit nor recommend my friends and family to this location again. As stated previously I walked into this location and was immediately side eyed and not properly greeted. I made my way to the pop section as I normally do and saw a great promo game stop was running and a few other items I was ready to purchase. All in all I was about to spend well over $300 at this location. As I walked to the action figure section I noticed on the counter that there were newly received miles Morales pops (over 12 to be exact) that were being received. not paying much attention to them I over heard the store manager hunter say that he was going to buy the chase version of the Miles Morales. I had purchased all 9 of the Miles Morales pops from a different GameStop the day before and that particular pop was the only one missing from my set. I walked up to hunter and say hey man if your going to buy one is it ok If I purchase the other chase pop as you have 2 there for purchase. He immediately told me that they were pre ordered. he didn't have a customers account open and the fact that he told me someone had pre ordered at particular SKU and not even having a customers account open to verify such a claim shows me he thought that I was ignorant to the facts and that I am not. I know that chase variants cannot be pre ordered and that he simply wanted to purchase them for himself. THIS SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED. It is unfair that those rare items never make it to the shelves because employees deprive the customer of that experience for selfish personal gain. On top of that he attempted to back track and say he apologizes for saying that and that he was not going to purchase them beware he dosent even like it but at this point the damage had already been done. HE IS LIEING and if this is the type of people who are representing the games stop brand no wonder there having some problems. its not all of them but this location take the cake. This situation will be escalated so that way the customer has a fighting chance to make these type of purchases and not have have them taken by ROUGED SELFISH employees. Whoever over sees this locations needs to seriously evaluate the leadership there as people are definitely PROFILED before a transaction can event be completed. Again 10 out of 10 times I am never greeted.and yes I am black..... ill let you be the judge of that.

Experiencia fantástica: Thanks to the amazing staff, I was able to save my Animal Crossing New Horizons island from extinction. When I had a problem with my switch they swapped it out, with hardly any questions asked (thanks to them for talking me into a warranty). When I realized I didn’t backup my island, they let me recover it before it was sent back to Nintendo. They are very helpful and extremely careful due to the COVID situation, I will always come back to this GameStop for my video gaming needs.

Laron was SUPER friendly and helpful explaining prices and deals on PS4 game bundles and VR - he walked me through the black Friday deals through sony - they have a $199 bundle with PS4 and three of the best games God of war The last of us and horizon zero Dawn. GREAT deal. Probably go back and get it.

Went in to trade games in, asked him about an upcoming game he just gave short answers. - asked me was I tired of a game already that I went to trade in. Didn't ask why or suggest any good games based off my answers I could've given him, to help me out.
