Experiencia negativa: Okay so I have a Xbox series x that I tried to return to this location on 12th avenue I would say do not buy anything from gamestop they are notorious for screwing people over I had several returns on different systems that I have purchased it started when I went to Walmart I paid $500 for a PS5 then I took it to game stop and sold it for the Xbox series x which had issues I had issues so I was I went to the GameStop where I purchased where I took my PS5 to and got the series x well apparently they told me that they they saw me the series like then I went back and had problems with the Xbox series x and then they told me I could not they could not return the series x so I couldn't get the you know almost $600 if I pay for the series except on 12th on 12th and everything else it was such a bad experience that every game I contacted and tried to get someone to refund me my money they said they couldn't so while I was in the store I was told that I could not return the series x because they can't do returns on merchandise even though I had the one year warranty well so anyways if anybody goes to GameStop on Southwest 24th and 12th avenue which is the two Norman locations they are nothing but bad news if you go into GameStop on 24th and 12th avenue be born that you will get screwed out of money they won't they won't deal with you and if you come in and make exchanges and returns so many times like I did you will not get your money back and so now I am so upset with them I contacted corporate offices and talk to corporate offices because GameStop screwed me out of almost $600 and an Xbox series x even though I have the one year warranty they both games never find my money and they try to ban me from both stores and I called corporate and I'm working on getting a lawyer I have already talking to a lawyer about the matter because GameStop will screw people over if you go to any location here in Norman which is if it's the one on 12th and the one off Southwest 24th Street here in Norman which is the only two locations be where you will get screwed they will find anyway in every loophole that they can to screw people over I have seen people who have gotten stuff in games has had problems it's got a glitch in the operating system Microsoft is aware of what's happening and so they're trying to work out something and I'm so mad with GameStop on both sides the one on 12th avenue and the one off Southwest 24th here in Norman I call both locations and both locations are trying to say I'm bad they won't do business with with me anymore and they won't refund my money back so if anybody goes to GameStop's here in Norman Oklahoma beware that you will get screwed out of money that you're paying for for a gaming consoles worst people I've ever dealt with both GameStops here in Norman have the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my whole entire life they will rip you off out of your money and they will not be nice about it

Experiencia negativa: Just left here. Gentleman knew his policies. But he had zero idea how to communicate with people. Guy always had to have last word and kept on. I’m easy going and ok with their policies. But just communicate and do t be condescending. At one point he does wow I don’t have to test your defective system out. I go ummm it’s not defective. He goes yep it has a marker line in it. Dude. Seriously. Not the first issue I’ve had at this particular GameStop. I should have known better.

The employees here are great and have always been friendly and quick to help. I've been to some horrible Gamestops and luckily my local one is one of the bests.

Experiencia fantástica: Friendly staff, typically have what you are looking for in games if you call ahead to check on it. This store location does honor online pricing as advertised even if it's less than the price in the store. Sometimes online will say a store has an item in stock, when they might but are actually for patrons who pre-ordered or paid to reserve. Best to just call first and not be frustrated or disappointed. No complaints of this particular location!

Experiencia fantástica: Please be kind to the employees. They've been through a lot recently, they're understaffed, and often there's only one person in the building at a time. They're also required by field management to pitch the rewards card to you. The current shortage of consoles and controllers isn't their fault, it's due to a mass shortage of electronics components. They're doing the best they can.

Experiencia fantástica: We brought my child in to spend gift cards from his birthday and the manager was just delightful. We thought it closed at 9 instead of 8, and he never once rushed us or made us feel bad for coming in at close (I've worked retail enough to know this is a terrible thing to do to someone and would never do it on purpose). The whole process from buying this gift cards to watching my kiddo pick out the thing he's been talking about for months was a joy. We're definitely dedicated customers now. And as a side note, being a woman, sometimes these places can feel like they're run by gatekeepers who don't think we have any business being in there, but I never felt that way here, which is a huge comfort. It's unfortunate that it even bears mentioning when we're NOT treated poorly, but it's still a thing.

I much prefer personality, and when you're at a place that sells video games, it should be brimming with it. I digress, this store is my go to and their renovated floors look fantastic.

Experiencia negativa: Just waited in line for 30 minutes, only 2 people in front of me but apparently trade ins take forever and the person who called in on the phone is more important than those of us waiting in line. I just picked out a used ps4 game to play on a snowy day, waited all that time to find out that although I had the case in my hand, there was no game in stock! Very frustrating, if you don't have the game, take the case off the shelf would be my advice. Just a thought.

I assume one of them was the manager and I could tell he didn’t look at what he was doing as an obligation and would totally believe he wasn’t even getting paid and just loved helping people.
