Experiencia negativa: I went in to buy a new backbone controller for my new iPhone! Talked to a guy named Douglas for a half hour about the item he was trying to sell me and it ended up being the wrong one! I had to contact corporate through email and was messaged back telling me to go in and they can assist me to fix the problem! Well the manager was very rude to me saying she couldn’t do anything then Douglas trying to lie his way out of it I said call corporate she said no she can’t! I asked for her name because it wasn’t on her tag and she lied to me saying addy which I called later that night coming to find out her real name is Jen and then she threatened to call the cops to make me leave! Told them both I’ll be contacting corporate and reporting them both which I did! If someone goes to work in that kinda of business they should know what they are selling!
Experiencia negativa: Ehh wasn’t feeling the vibe. They don’t have anything really and the employees could be more helpful? They didn’t say one word. Sad to see the culture die out.
Experiencia negativa: Blue haired individual working here was extremely rude and disrespectful embarrassing me and my brother in front of everyone for purchasing a game seriously one of the most disgusting things I’ve seen a worker do. Do better game stop!

Experiencia negativa: The funny thing is, I don’t know if they think that customers are idiotic or maybe mentally challenged, but the fact that you think that you can change your price sticker on something without saying anything while I’m still shopping for something and didn’t think I noticed that you added an extra $15 when I purposely wanted that item at that price I didn’t think that I would notice but I definitely did notice that’s perfectly fine now we’re gonna have to get corporate involved because you want to be shady
Experiencia fantástica: Store Lead "Riggs" was great. Upper management outside of the store was useless when she called and gaslit her & I both, while she was simply trying her hardest to help, so I have to criticize that on their part but that isn't the associate's fault at all. Very clean store, well spaced, not claustrophobic.

Experiencia negativa: My husband and want to purchase a game console, along with different games, etc. Therefore, we went to GameStop to talk to someone about that and make the purchase. Unfortunately, the salesperson behind the counter was on the computer the whole time. She wouldn't even look up to acknowledge my husband and me, even after I wondered out loud (right in front of her) where the game consoles might be and which ones are the best right now. We could have walked out of there with several things and the only reason I am giving 1 star is because there is no option for zero! The store lost a very big sale.
Experiencia negativa: I tried to buy an Xbox One the other day and I had to bring it back 3 times because it was not working and then they said they didn't have anymore unless I wanted a more expensive one. What a complete waste of my time. Don't shop GameStop they sell broken junk
Experiencia fantástica: They have the most wheelchair accessible store in probably the entire mall. I was using a wheelchair today and had very few problems getting around, the isles are wide and have very few items sticking out to get caught on. The man at the counter was extremely kind and offered to give me wet wipes to clean the rails of my chair. I did not even purchase anything, and he was still extremely kind to me. I didn't catch his name unfortunately, but he had the most wonderful customer service. I have never had a more positive experience in a store as a wheelchair user. 10/10, I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Experiencia negativa: I bought a PlayStation 5 controller online for $74.99. I went into the Monroe store to pick it up. When I got home I noticed on the box that it was actually $54.99. I called to see if I can possibly get a price adjustment, and they said no. I asked why, the store manager "Joe," said that the price is $74.99 and they never changed the price tag back to the original tag. So it still had the old tag on there that said $54.99. which is not my fault that they did not change the price tags. I'm just requesting the price adjustment. And they're making it very difficult. The store manager customer service skills were awful and I believe that she should not have that position. She did not even take the time to figure out what the problem was she just said they didn't change the tags and oh well... If I can give the store less than one star I would purely because of their customer service.

Experiencia negativa: Came here to GameStop and spoke with the Store manager , who try to act like she’s nice with rude comments. wasted $60 on a used controller that I had to buy twice and when I came back the store manager told me nothing they can do and I basically should’ve read the receipt and all the policy , don’t waste your money on GameStop , go to Walmart or Best Buy better deals, and they honor they warranty .
Experiencia positiva: Last great used game store. Although it doesn't seem like they don't care about games anymore. The new price for pro is just crazy $25. You refused the price yet took all the best benefits away. Staying with 10% off used. With the horrible amount you give to trade in your still making a killing giving your pro members a better deal than you currently give. And pro days which turned to pro weeks are even more of a joke. This used to be something to look forward too, it was like a black Friday deal and you would even impulse buy, but now it's a random sale of stuff that you have too much of like clearance merch. I have been a member of pro since way back when you had a card that you printed the label on and was proud of it, back when you mailed game informer (not had a option) and you couldn't wait for the next, but this is the end of the line. Unfortunately you lost for values and we have this. Once the current subscription ends. It's over

The employees are always so polite, helpful and are very knowledgeable about anything game/system related. It's one of the busiest stores but they never rush you out,, you actually feel welcomed. It's really appreciated.
Experiencia negativa: Went to the store and made sure to check online that they were open before I went. When I got there the door was locked and there was no sign saying they were closed at all.....quality of this store is nothing like I remember a couple years ago.

I'm not sure who is to blame gamestop or the manufacturers but it would be nice to have the option to just buy a console, not a console with a game I don't want. In the end I feel like I ended up overpaying, and their membership with the points is garbage, don't bother getting it.

Experiencia negativa: Trying to purchase from GameStop is extremely challenging. The website offers promotions that advertise certain discounts in the store as well as online. The website also advertises availability in-store with same-day pickup and a discount if you purchase online. However, there is no way to get these promotions, because even though the website advertises same-day pick up - it only allows for next day. When attempting to call the store to see if there’s someway to expedite the order, if it’s placed online, there’s nothing they can do. They cannot pull it forward or use and receipt to allow for early pickup. They can’t price match their own website or match promos their website says exists in store. Even showing them their OWN website doesnt satisfy the management. After calling the competitor and finding out they were only $10 more they gamestops trivial sale price, i went to the competitor and paid $10 more than dealing with the back and forth nonsense with Gamestop. I did attempt to call GameStop first via their customer service number, I received a message that said they’re very busy and to call another day and hung up on me. I was only able to get through to the store to ask the question by calling five times, the first four times the phone system answered and said they were busy and to call later and disconnected. Gamestops Stock price is down 36% year-over-year, & I can’t say I’m surprised. Customers who want to spend money at GameStop (with plenty of other options available to them also) cant do so and are met with numerous challenges, false advertisement and zero support when needed. Sounds like a sinking ship to me! I think I will save myself any further frustration and just visit the local competitor. On first contact, they answered the phone, were ready to help, offered to match GameStop’s price and let me know i could surely pick up tonight! If your reading this post, save yourself alot of frustration too and just go somewhere else.
