Store opens at 11 in Fridays, he didnt open the doors until 1106. This happens often. ZERO for customer service. Zero for store experience. Zero for helpfulness. And the store always stinks.

Old man in the Zelda shirt needs to be trained on customer service. Maybe you should consider hiring more staff so he isn’t left alone with customers

Experiencia negativa: Joe the store manager is a tyrant. He’s hateful to customers and employees. He loves to try and force customers to buy pro memberships and if you refuse he is immature and belittles customers. We’ve watched him flat out ignore customers asking him questions. He refuses to give service to anyone who won’t give him the numbers he needs and forces other people to do it. Little boy, you are working at GameStop and think you’re better than other people? We will never shop at this location or the Hoke Road because he manages both but he needs to be managing his account info with unemployment! Fire him because he’s evidently harassing customers, employees, and you have got to be losing thousands of dollars in profit if that is how he is leading the store. If he was my employee he would get removed asap! You’d think if he was a store manager he would have learned a long time ago how to control his emotions and not abuse people around him! FIRE JOE. He’s a liability!

Experiencia negativa: Went in to pick up my preorder for Mario Party Jamboree today, since my husband had to work third and then I first and we have kids or I would have been there at release at midnight Thursday. Anyways, preordered this game back when I preordered the Switch 2, only to come in and be told the preorder was for the extension pack and not the game that I ordered and they do not have any in stock. Don’t know when they will have a copy in. As soon as I entered I was greeted from the cash register in the back and talked to from there about what I was looking for and if I need help. Two employees and you can’t walk out to me and greet me and speak to me and instead holler across the store while I’m looking at specific things and expect me to holler back. Next, you do nothing to rectify the situation…I only am buying this game hard copy because I want to use my rewards. And just irritating that customer service today is out the window. No effort to seek it out at other stores for me and hold it so I can go pick up because I would have paid and no apology and just no desire to rectify the situation. So, I’m out after my pro membership ends next round and will purchase my games and consoles elsewhere after this. I already chalked it up they didn’t have my donkey Kong preorder as I got it electronically snd love it.
Experiencia fantástica: I had a great experience here. I just wanted to buy a few packs of football cards, which they had. I pulled a few good cards and I also became a pro member. Saved some money and got a free email notifying me when the switch 2 comes out. I'll be back to buy some more cards!
Experiencia negativa: Id give this place half a star if I could but I can't I won't be coming back here sold my gaming console they wouldn't give me cash I got forced to take a gift card thats supposed to work any where that takes master card I could pull the money off it at a ATM it wouldn't come back they won't do anything they won't give me my stuff back when I was really only selling it so I could eat tonight I didn't get no money for this the card it junk and will not work iv tried two different ATMs multiple times this money was for my dinner tonight the only way I was gonna be able to eat tonight and I'm diabetic and I don't get to eat anything at all tonight so I will be calling corporate

Waited 15 minutes patiently and clerk finally got a response saying we can do it. Great! Then proceeded to tell me they only price match if you’re a pro member? Rip off and another example of why the company is dying.
Experiencia negativa: GameStop accepted my money for a preorder online two months ago, and when the game launches it doesn't ship until the day *after* launch. To make matters worse I can't take my order to be fulfilled at a local store. Thanks GameStop for ruing launch day for me. I'll be returning my unopened game to this location and buying the game elsewhere. My recommendation: never preorder a game here!

Experiencia negativa: This place is a SHAM!! They DO NOT stand by their warranties at all.. Purchased a controller for my boys and a little over 2 months later it just stopped working.. I didnt have a receipt but showed them a receipt on my bank statement and they still wouldnt award it.. I said how is it possible you cant find a receipt in your system but I can show you the bank statement and store number?? I honestly wish I could give this place 0 stars because thats what they truly deserve.. Very sad

Experiencia negativa: I would give this location 0 stars if I could. Absolutely the worst GameStop I have ever dealt with in my opinion. The workers are unprofessional and down right ignorant I have literally tried to call this location 30 times just to find out some information about buying Rocksmith 2014 remastered for the PS4 for his birthday coming up since he just started learning to play guitar. The first few times the phone just rang then stopped automatically. The next few times whomever it was answered the phone and immediately put me on mute for a solid 2 minutes. Then I tried again a couple more times only to reach a busy signal. Then there were a couple of times whoever was on the other end just answered and immediately hung up the phone. I feel that is very unprofessional and childish. I can understand being busy but at least have the common curiosity to answer the phone. I will honestly never shop there again. To be perfectly honest I think all people who are currently working 1st shift should be fired for being that rude, childish and extremely unprofessional especially with someone who is trying to be a good customer by supporting your business and buying your products. I don't deserve to be disrespected for no reason. I even attached a screen shot of how many times I've tried to call you guys just for some information so I did not have to waste time and gas to drive all the way there and you guys not have it. That's part of your job to at least support your customers with information.

Experiencia fantástica: This particular GameStop is my go to store in the area. I'm a regular customer up here because the staff is always really kind and cool. They always help me to get the most bang for my buck on things whenever I buy or sell to them. On some occasions, I'll go in just to ask for a recommendation on what I should play next and they're always more than happy to take the time to help me figure out what I want. The only thing I'd like to see them improve on is their selection of trading card products. They always have a few packs of Pokemon, and Magic: The Gathering cards on hand, but it tends to be limited to just a few recent set releases. If they could get some more variety in from their suppliers, I'd be extremely happy. All in all, I would highly recommend this particular store over many of the others in the Dayton area.

Experiencia negativa: Anybody reading this make sure you check prices online before you buy...online has botw for 37.99(gamestopwebsite) but they sale inside for 59.99 they will give u your money back but its just the thing that if I didn't know its was only 37.99 online they would of just let me walk out paying 59.99they didn't even mention anything..so just check online 1st because they have been over charging everyone that doesn't games inside don't match prices on their store website

Experiencia negativa: The experience I had tonight is absolutely unacceptable. I bought the ocean blue controller in January along with the one-year warranty. I just took it in to have it replaced and they basically told me they could not except the warranty and couldn’t replace it without me paying extra money even though I already paid the extra $10 for the warranty in January. I had the receipt and sticker. I then call the Huber Heights location and they told me that there shouldn’t be any problem since I had everything and to come up there and they would take care of me. So now I have to drive 15 mins out of the way. Never again will I shop here or recommend to anyone. Been spending money with this company for 20 years. I will never spend another penny with them again.

Experiencia negativa: I'm only giving 2 stars because this is the only game store in my area. The store is poorly stocked, selections are limited and that's IF they even have what we're looking for. A month ago, I tried to exchange 2 controllers, they literally had 1 controller for my console and it wasn't even the same kind as what I needed to exchange. They offered to take our number and call us when another controller came in.... guess what? We're still waiting on that call, and yes we have followed up Unfortunately, having a good customer service experience is very rare, most of the time no one answers the phone or it rings more than 10 times before anyone answers at all. Poor customer service is normal for this store too, the associates seem annoyed or irritated when you try to ask questions, they're just very rude. Then again,, maybe it's part of the company's business plan, the standard poor customer service does make me appreciate the 2 good experiences I've had.

So This particular GameStop has always been a easy hop n skip due to multiple stores in the vicinity, BUT as of late the employees and customer service has fallen off big time! Two months ago I purchased a Super Nintendo with the warranty only to return it due to the console having issues and the employee didn’t want to pay back the $10.00 warranty. He argued instead of showing transparency or professionalism. I vowed to stop going there. Then I heard MKT 11 had the ultimate edition to upload all of the characters for the PS4 so I ran into GameStop to grab it only to be played out of another $39.00 for a game that was $40.00 brand new? The employee talked me into buying the $39.00 dlc but neglected to tell me that I needed to have the PlayStation pass to play with the new characters I was livid! So I rushed back and pointed out the facts and the manager rudely said that I couldn’t get my money back and I explained that the employee didn’t explain to me how it worked! I have had enough of the bias from the area and the store in general at this point! Englewood GameStop is way better!
