Experiencia negativa: Really off putting experience- The only clerk at the store kept loudly describing games as “retarted” in a conversation he was having? And when I went up to ask about the game I was looking for he said he didn’t have it in stock. Which is fine, he offered stores that did have it. But they were kind of far. I asked “do you think this Best Buy right here might have it” and he goes “does it look like I work for Best Buy” shame on me for trying to see if there was somewhere closer I guess.

Definitely not coming back for awhile.

Experiencia fantástica: My fiancé went in the store at Jefferson Point, IN on Saturday 4/26 and he was so happy with his experience. He took our 5-year-old in with him and when my fiancé was getting ready to pay, our 5-year-old runs off to play the game console they have in the store, the cashier told my fiancé that he can continue with paying because he had his eyes on him for my fiancé. Now, I don't know if this was to get my fiancé to hurry up and just make the purchase to leave but I am so happy that there are people that do these things just because... Thank you, Jordan, for helping not only get a game that my 5-year-old loves but for helping keep him safe while he was in the store with his dad.
Experiencia negativa: I just stopped at Gamestop in Jefferson Pointe during business hours and the doors are locked. There's no sign on the door to explain why they're closed, and the employee behind the counter just gave me a time out hand gesture and went back to looking at his phone.

Until the male worker with black hair and glasses possibly asian kept harassing me about buying the warranty and always trying to upsell even when i say no two or three times. I would watch the camera if i was the owner as he works he vapes in the store which i thought is unprofessional for this type of business.
Experiencia negativa: DO NOT TRUST GAMESTOP FOR GRADING CARDS! they tell you your cards will be shipped out by the end of the week then when you find out 2 weeks later it hasn't moved they will tell you that you can't have your card back "it's apart of the process" then they DON'T tell you that if it's lost or stolen only GameStop can say whether or not it's lost insinuating they can just take your expensive cards and you get nothing except pocket change. SEND THE CARDS IN YOURSELVES DO NOT GO THROUGH GAME STOP.

I was told in Nov 2nd, 2024, by an employee at Lima Road Game Stop in Fort Wayne, that the Blvd Jefferson branch would have the figure I was looking for (GIJOE Classified Mad Marauder Sgt. Slaughter). She checked the system and GUARANTEED me they had the toy. So I took an Uber and 30 minutes later, as I arrived, the only employee, Jordan, was away from the store and left a note saying he would be back soon. I and everyone else at the door waited 30 minutes for him to return and as I inquired about the figure, it was really on the system but nowhere to be found in that mess of a store, where everything seemed out of place. He looked for the toy in the back of the store where they keep products reserved, and there was nothing as well. What kind of attendant does not know or can not find what's inside the place he himself works? Anyway, Jordan offered me free shipping when he finds the figure or order another, but I am a foreigner and couldn't wait. The matter at hand is: How can I ever trust Game Stop's system or employees again? I lost my time, I lost my money and lost my mood. Thanks a lot, Game Stop.
Experiencia negativa: I’ve been trying to call this location for over 30mins and haven’t been able to get ahold of anyone. GameStop doesn’t care about customer service. It’s also crazy that they’ll sell you multiple controllers with stick drift but they won’t buy back the same controller they sold you with stick drift.
Experiencia negativa: I went in for a ps5 remote I have a $15 warts y that protects for defects and them getting broken from abuse. I've exchanged many remotes and bought a 15 wstrty again no issues. Today however I went in and some guy glassed blonde Mohawk cones out if the back. Looks upset I'm even there I tell him I wanna get another remote I have a warranty. He tells me "ah nah man I need more then that" mind you I've given gamestop a thumbstick and exchanged for a remote new. The whole was there but 3 pieces what more did you want bud? Probably should learn his companies policies and take some courses in customer service. Because I'm definitely not your "bro" my brose aren't rude to one another.

However, I truly believe that GameStop is an awful organization and they only believe in scamming customers to make money. I truly understand how depreciation works and believe that some of that holds true, however when you turn around and sell my “ junk” to another customer only to make a profit, shame on you. Offering me 20 dollars for an Xbox one and like 5 games is horrible. Then turn around and sell it for $100 plus. I only gave them one star because I had to lol

Experiencia negativa: Update - Worse now than ever. Strongly advise against supporting this location and the store owner. Employee/owner had white/gray hair and a mohawk, didn't get their name. I see other reviews that may be talking about him being hostile as well. Today I swung by to get a Steam giftcard using my monthly Pro benefits. When I spoke to the cashier (who later suggested they were the store owner) they had already sold $200 worth of giftcards today and couldn't sell more. When asked why that was a thing I was told it was to prevent people from being scammed. I tried to get an understanding of how denying me the ability to purchase a $10 giftcard protected me from being scammed but didn't receive an explanation. At this point I asked them if my Pro membership was no longer on auto-renew because I wasn't going to deal with such a silly policy wasting my time when I rarely come to the stores to begin with. When I told the cashier this, he stopped bringing up my account, laughed at me, and stood there with a cocky look and pose and asked me how protecting people from being scammed was stupid. I responded as I had, it made no sense, someone else purchasing giftcards should not impact me, and preventing me from purchasing a $10 giftcard certainly wasn't protecting me from anything. I then told him I didn't understand why he was arguing with me and that I wanted auto renew turned off and that he should drop the attitude. Another cocky response, I replied again that the attitude should be dropped, at which point I was told to 'get out of my store'. Not only did he refuse to cancel the Pro membership that I had (even opened it at this location), but to get an attitude with a customer and argue with them rather than simply explain how/why something worked the way it did makes no sense. If you don't know, that's fine too, but just be honest and don't get an attitude, laugh at the customer, and get sarcastic with them. I already have so little reason to go to Gamestop's brick and mortar stores but after this experience I'll never come back to this location and probably won't go to any others either. I've worked retail and customer service most of my life, I'd be fired for speaking that way to someone and rightfully so. Don't expect decent customer service here. No idea what the owner's problem is but if he thinks its acceptable to treat customers this way I can only imagine what his mindset is regarding the rest of the business. May as well stick to Gamestop's website, Walmart, or just order off Amazon. I can see why stores close when this is how they treat customers. I never have any trouble, drama, or sarcasm when shopping at Walmart or Amazon so why should I spend my time or money here?
Experiencia fantástica: I wish there was a way to give Clint a 5 star review, per my 11yr old nephew. Sid has been wanting this game and every store we went to was a fail! Until Jefferson Pointe game stop...Clint came to the rescue and was able to complete our quest! Thank you for being amazing Clint and making his day! You were truly amazing and made him so happy.. We need more people like Clint in this world!

Experiencia fantástica: I went into GameStop with a Cube disc stuck in my PlayStation 4 slim. 2 very nice salespeople (one being the manager) tried to fix it for me. Experiencia negativa: Would not refund me... had the receipt for a Christmas gift I bought my son. It was headphones that he could not use with his iPad. He never wore them, only opened the box to power them on and tried to connect them.. 100 dollar pair of headphones!! Upon initial buying, I was told they would definitely pair by the sales rep that sold them to me, and that if not, I could return for a full refund!!! They did, however, give me store credit, and I was able to get a different universal set. Still the fact that they wouldn't refund me the money was ridiculous

Experiencia negativa: Shop at the other Fort Wayne stores if possible, this store charges you for Gameplay guarantee and will not take it off when you ask. An ex-employee also told me that this store's employees have been told to always charge the max refurbish fee even when a game traded in looks fine.

Experiencia fantástica: We literally are living in a time, when Customer Service has just flown by the wayside…Where if individuals actually show up for work, they could simply care less about anything else other than a paycheck. I quit coming in to GameStop three years ago, after I had a negative experience back to back (all in the same exact day!) at 3 different locations; as the service that I had received was horrendous!! Today, I decided to give them another chance, at the Apple Glen location. From the moment that I walked into the door, to the moment that I left, the Customer Service that I received LITERALLY Blew Me Out Of The Water!!! It could not have been any better, had the Associate had of tried. He was dealing with myself and several other customers, and with each of us, he made us feel as if we were family! I honestly cannot remember the last time that I have received such amazing service…..Anywhere! I left feeling elated, grateful, blessed, etc. I needed this experience, especially after having endured the past several weeks as I have been healing from some serious back surgery. Kudos to GameStop for having given me such an amazing experience!! You guys definitely need to employ, about 30 more individuals such as the gentleman who you currently have employed at this particular location, as he is hands down the embodiment of what Customer Service truly is about! Thank you for showing me that there is still quality service all around us, and for allowing me to feel like a part of your family!

Also Oculus, computer keyboards, pads, mice, mics, cameras, Heavy-Duty storage SSDs for all the systems. AND THE MINI-FIGS also great selection considering its a small store. BLIND BAGS, Funko Pops, Plushes, TokiDoki, 5 Nights at Freddie's, Dragon Ball Z, Bakugan, Pokémon Cards, clothes and decent members benefits and pre-order capabilities.

Then employee exaggerated condition of an xbox controller to avoid having to go through the trade-in process of the xbox one x system. I left with nothing done and 45 mins wasted of my life. I will not go back to this GameStop again.

With all the options out there to immediately download games or have them delivered to your door Gamestop has an opportunity to make themselves stand out with excellent customer service, unfortunately they fail on this front.

I ordered and paid for a new gaming mouse, I should have known, looking at the packaging saw double seal (new on top of old). got home and open the case, scratched on items and product has some lint at the button of the mouse indicate it was use. I mean it could be a return items and why not mark as open item but instead sold me used item for a brand new price? WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS AGAIN! Your action is immoral and illegal!

They literally forgot to send the one thing I ordered! Finally talked to Scott the manager, after being hung up on by no name store associate. Please note I was talking and dealing with said sales associate professionally. Call back and talk to Scott, no empathy, no customer service, no apologies, just not his problem. Repeated that there is nothing he can do. If I go to the store to pick up missing game I am just out the extra money paid for delivery too. Will not shop here, EVER, again!

It helps when you doing business with a familiar face. One of the larger Gamestop locations around. Which is nice if you have been to Lima Rd./Stellhorn/Warsaw. Just a more comfortable space to shop longer.
Experiencia negativa: Unfortunately I have to edit my rating. I went in earlier to trade in a game and purchase my children a new game. The rep Scott asked me if I had the membership to which I replied yes, just not sure which number is active. I gave him 2 different numbers and he lies and said both were inactive. I know my wife renewed it because we were Just there for Christmas shopping! So I purchased another membership because I couldn't get the "deal." When I left I called 2 separate locations who were able to pull up my renewed account! Definitely refuse to go to this location anymore and would encourage anyone that does to Not trust Scott!
