Experiencia fantástica: i love this gamestop. i enjoy coming here when i have free time just to look around. they always have cute trinkets in stock. i usually buy pokemon cards and figurines from the store, and they’re not bad prices at all. the associates are always helpful and friendly, though i wish they’d stop pushing to get me to sign up for a membership. i understand that they are required to do that though, so i don’t blame them, just the store itself. if you like cute trinkets to adorn your desk, i highly recommend checking out this gamestop :)

Experiencia fantástica: I had a great experience at this location after becoming very frustrated trying to reach corporate support for assistance with an order I placed through GameStop's website. I was prepared to just return everything and go shop somewhere else, but the gentleman who assisted me at the store was patient and understanding, and was able to resolve my issue satisfactorily. It would've been easy for him to just refund the order and send me on my way, but he took the time to understand the situation and fix the problem, even though it didn't even originate in the store. I greatly appreciate his professionalism and willingness to help, and honestly his efforts alone retained a 20+ year customer. Going forward I will be much more inclined to visit and purchase at this location, and I would not hesitate to recommend this particular store to anyone.

Experiencia negativa: Every time my s/o and myself go to this location Randy is the only one working. He always has the nastiest of attitudes. One experience is going in checking on the preorders for one of the pokemon ETB back in late December (which closed by the time we went back.) Instead of professionally saying that the preorders were closed, just nastily said that they had no more preorders. We went back yesterday to check on another preorder, but the time is different on google then the store so we waited until 12pm for them to open. When we walked up to the store the screen was still down. When Randy did open it he looked at my s/o and rolled his eyes. Serval people came in after us and asked about pokemon card boxes and he would always give a rude response. Just before we left some one asked if all the pokemon boxes were out were the only ones they had had. “What you see is what we have” could have been said in a professional way. 2) just after that person left he pulled a box from underneath the counter and but it on the counter behind where all the controllers are. That is the shadiest thing I’ve ever witnessed in my life. Personally, I love GameStop as I found many of my Funkopops with them, but this location if Randy is there (which seems to be the cases 24/7) we will not be stopping in and going to the oaks mall instead as the staff there is more courteous and friendlier.

Experiencia negativa: TAKE YOUR BUSINESS TO A DIFFERENT LOCATION OR BUY ONLINE. The people that work at this location have no idea what customer service is. I walked in and told the young lady Mikayla exactly what I needed. She proceeded to tell me that it has to be printed on the receipt and then ended up selling me the wrong game of which nothing can be done about it now. They have the digital cards for MW3 for PC but apparently it was wrong and had to be purchased a different way. She ended up charging me $60 for the ORIGINAL Modern Warfare. Why would I buy a game that is over five years old? Especially after EXPLAINING to Mikayla that I need Modern Warfare 3 for PC and PS5. I've called and asked to speak to a manager but somehow I can't get a call back. Store says contact Blizzard, in which Blizzard says contact the store. So save your time and effort and go somewhere else.

Experiencia fantástica: I had an exceptional experience at GameStop on Butler Plaza. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by an elderly gentleman who exuded professionalism and positivity. I inquired about the availability of PS4 consoles, either standard or slim, and he informed me that they had them in stock. He offered me a reasonable price for the slim version, which I decided to purchase. What truly impressed me was when he went to the back and brought out the console. I asked if he could inspect it to ensure it was in good condition, and without hesitation, he agreed. This attention to detail was a big plus for me. He carefully checked both the controller and the console, and when he discovered that the controller wasn't working properly, he promptly replaced it with a new one. This thoughtful gesture put a big smile on my face. After everything was finalized, I left the store feeling extremely satisfied with my purchase. I regret not getting the name of this elderly gentleman, but he will surely recognize himself when he reads this review. His exceptional customer service made my visit to GameStop a memorable one. Kudos to him and the team for providing top-notch service!

Experiencia negativa: Went in yesterday to find a headset make a preorder and renew my PUR. Wasn't greeted, was ignored. The person who came in a few minutes after me was greeted and seen immediately. Ended up leaving without doing anything. I've worked for GS in the past for nearly 6 years, I worked in this district as an SGA and an ASL(left during covid for pay reasons and to expand my skills). I know the DM and this locations SL would not approve missing a $120 sale on top of a RES, PRP and a PUR considering corporate is hardcore about metrics lately. To the DM and SL this isn't new behavior I know things have been rough lately, but come on greeting and seeing what people need the second they walk in is the brand standard taught on day 1. Sincerely, A former Prestige employee and manager.

Ended up getting that GameStop subscription, about to trade in some games and half down for pre order and was in store about 20/25 mins. Get there today 330/4pm the guy tells me they don't have it. Says they got them in & sold them, then it changed to the company told them ahead of time not enough will be sent..sooo why are you still taking pre orders half hr before closing and guaranteed a copy will be there for pre orders? If I knew this ahead of time I'd have gone else where and have my copy in hand...I would never trust this process from them again. GO STRAIGHT TO THE COMPANY ONLINE IS THE BEST ADVICE.

Plenty of games, accessories and plenty for the collectors now too. Now for a bonus... Marie who works there is the best! Yes, total g.o.a.t.! Not to mention cute, she will go out of her way to help you with your gaming or collectable needs!

I am glad that I got a membership for this place because someone wet and got me a Nintendo switch. I personally would of bought a PS4 but that is the Adult Gamer in me. I saw a preview for Zelda Awakening and automatically had to have it. Not available at that location and at every other location. Service was nice but are strict on masks. You get a mask on greeting before a hi and ease use a mask. All good though I comply with a smile.

Came in to buy a charger for my Xbox 1 asked for it to be tested his Josh response oh it works. Not trying to up sell or offer another charger so i asked if they had a brand new charger My says there it is. Knowing it had to be unlocked to get so I had to get at the end of the line with 15 plus people waiting in line. No I won’t be back. Yes I went to Walmart where I received better customer service where I was treated like a person.

They should call the customer first. This is a joke. Not to mention the high prices and always trying to push after sales junk. They are going downhill fast. I was unable to come in earlier, and I wanted to grab something quickly around 9:35 in Butler Plaza from GameStop, yet they were already turning the lights off and locked up, with no employees in sight. Quite unfortunate overall, because of the good prices for Black Friday.

Experiencia negativa: Staff members either lie about trade-in value or are too incompetent to look it up. Called to ask about trading my launch Switch for the new version with better battery life, and was told the difference would be $100. Drive all the way over there only to find out it’s $160. The employees there said the person I spoke to must have been confused and thought I was talking about the Switch Lite. Then maybe he SHOULD HAVE ASKED ME TO CLARIFY instead of giving me a price and getting me to drive all the way over there. My exact words were that I wanted the “new version with better battery life.” If he heard that and assumed Switch Lite, he should have asked to make sure that’s what I meant. Completely irritated with this store.
