Experiencia fantástica: Love this location. Everyone who works here is very knowledgeable and kind. I wish Corp would fix the AC :( I have to cut my shopping short bc it just gets too hot. Its uncomfortable for the employees as well as the patrons. I would be here all the time if they could get that fixed. Thanks Sig Gamestop peeps, yall do a great job

Experiencia fantástica: I cannot say enough good things about this GameStop location. Over the past few months, I’ve been coming in regularly to send off my childhood Pokémon card collection to PSA through their grading program, and Bryan, Fred, Brent, and Jermaine have made the entire experience awesome. Sending in cards you’ve had since you were a kid can feel intimidating, but they made the process so easy and stress free. They walked me through everything step by step, helped me understand how to prep my cards to be PSA ready, and answered all of my questions without ever making me feel rushed. Being able to track the grading process in the app has given me so much peace of mind, and they made sure I felt confident before sending anything off. We’re definitely hoping for some 10s! What really stands out is how welcoming everyone is. I’ve interacted with every employee there, and every single one has been engaging, knowledgeable, and genuinely excited to talk cards. We’ve had some great conversations about my submissions, and they’ve also pointed me toward other collectibles and items in the store that are right up my alley. At this point, I honestly consider them friends. The only small thing I’d mention is that the air conditioning has been broken, so it can get pretty warm or even hot in the store, especially if you’re there for a while. I’ve talked with the team about it, and they’ve let me know they’re waiting on a work order to be completed. I would honestly spend even more time browsing and hanging out if it were more comfortable. I hope corporate can get that taken care of soon, because this team deserves a cool, comfortable space that matches the great experience they provide. If you’re thinking about using the PSA program or just want to talk collectibles with people who genuinely care, this is the place to go.

Experiencia negativa: I will never go,shop, promote game stop ever again. This particular game stop lost 4 Pokemon cards I sent in through this location to get graded by PSA. Waited over 3 months and not a single update, email, call, or text. After over 3 months I received a call from a random customer service rep not even affiliated with the store to tell me they “lost” my cards. Their plan of compensation was 1/3rd of the total cards value. Cards included a BASE SET CHARIZARD. A mega charizard ex and 2 other pricy cards. They also offered me STORE CREDIT! Why in the world would I spend money that goes to GameStop directly when you just lost me almost 2 grand in cards. I have formally filed a complaint and will be pursuing legal action if not rectified in a timely matter. WILL NEVER GO TO GAMESTOP EVER AGAIN.

Just wasn’t satisfied with being sold an Xbox Series X battery charger, when I was purchasing an Xbox Series S console (yup, the charger station for an X has an additional attachments that doesn’t quite fit the S). Also, found out Veteran’s Discount is for used items only, and not new (we only buy new)

Experiencia negativa: Guess the phone doesn't work here, tried calling at least a dozen times from noon until 2:30PM and again from 7:00PM until they closed at 8:00PM and no one was available to answer the phone any of those times. Bonus that after it rings 6 or 7 times, a recording comes on and tells you to call back another time and then hangs up on you.

I was told they check and make sure it's all working and stuff. Well, it has a parental lock on it, so we aren't able to do anything with it. As much as we paid for it, and we can't even use it! However I only gave three stars because I have come to this store on three different occasions and had to sit outside for 30 minutes because this store is supposed to open up at 10am and three different times they have not opeaned the door until 10:30

Experiencia negativa: This location is horrible. just go to the mall. or the one near silver lake. The lady there is super helpful and nice. Promote her. She is helpful and has customer service. The store leader with short hair needs to find another occupation. He has to be 30 yrs old and cant function in a game store... Id get it if I was being difficult. I just didnt realize all the sales were for gs pro members only. He is rude. Doesnt have any customer service and has a nasty attitude. Cant even make a proper pitch for the gs rewards too. Promote the right people please. Wont being going back to gamestop in general. No point. The online store is just better. The benefit of the stores are they are fun to go in. But some of the employees suck the life out of it.

Experiencia negativa: All gamestops in Wilmington are pretty good except for this one. Been three times now and the people working up front are rude. They try and guilt trip you into getting protection plans for devices and I understand they can’t do much for you without it but that is my problem to figure out. Just think you should open your mouth less and just sell me the product if you’re gonna act like an a**.

Understand he is knowledgeable, but if customer is relaying a particular experience they are having, he should listen & address what they are saying. Not cut them off mid sentence to tell what he knows. Really disappointed. Turns out he was wrong. Got what I was looking for at Walmart.

Experiencia negativa: Went in a few days ago to browse the Nintendo switch games, picked a preowned and went to the counter to pay. Ima be honest, I didn’t even rlly pay attention to my total until I got to my car because I wondered why it was more than I had anticipated since I had a $25 off reward plus a additional $5 off coupon. When I looked at my receipt I noticed the cashier gave me the game as new and not the preowned version that I had wanted (literally the box I gave him said pre owned as well). Giving 2 stars due to the situation and having to wait an additional 30 mins to go back in and wait in line to get my refund

Experiencia negativa: I bought what was suppose to be a 1T ps4. I got home and it was 500gb. I went back and traded it and they gave me another 500gb. It was confirmed today while looking at my storage I only have 400 and something GB of storage. Absolutely terrible!! I’m beyond upset and unimpressed. Was told it was stickered wrong at the warehouse. Beware and check it as soon as you get home. I didn’t because I truthfully didn’t know how and didn’t take the time to do it until today I’ve had it for about a month now. I’m so , so upset.

Experiencia negativa: They usually have awesome Service, my fiancé went to buy a preowned Xbox one controller. After showing him the prices of the preowned controllers he thought he was just going to be paying 36.99. The lady working last night on June 27th 2022 towards closing time told him she could not price mark the same controller for 36.99 as stated on the internet and the website. He ended up paying 50 dollars for a preowned controller. He should have paid the original 36.99. Unbelievable.. Thank you to the associate Manny for helping him out and giving him the original price. I really like this GameStop and will continue to go here but please be aware.

She was willing to go above and beyond to help me, not only seeing that I was distressed, but was kind and professional even while I was upset (for reasons unrelated to the interaction alone). Experiencia negativa: I was in the Independence Mall, shopping with my 11 yr old son when we're realized that their Gamestop had closed down. I Google the next closest store and decided to call this one when the gentleman in the photo answered the phone, he immediately hung up on me. It was very rude. I gave a pass thinking they may have been busy, drove two miles to this store and nope. Not busy at all. Just rude. He admitted to taking the call. Customer service is awful.

Experiencia fantástica: My experience with this Game Stop on Sigmon Rd was a 10/10 all the way through. ISRAEL, (Issy) practices what I would call PERFECT CUSTOMER SERVICE. He was prompt, knowledgeable, attentive, patient, and above all he assisted every need with a friendly attitude and smile. I’m a server and I realize the art of providing genuine customer service is dwindling down. It’s important to recognize those who practice and uphold those standards. Thank you sissy and Game Stop:)

Experiencia fantástica: These guys are awesome! For Christmas my son asked for all my hero academia stuff and they had a zip up hoodie....with only one left in his size! My husband called and said what he found and I was 30 mins away. They held onto the hoodie until I got there which I thought was super cool of them! Ended up getting a bunch of stuff there for both kids there and Christmas was great!
