So blown away but my son was paying and wanted it.. Not once did the guy say.. "why don't u buy a new one for a few dollars more" he was a good guy and I shouldve thought of it.. But my brain was only thinking Holy crap! Stay out of these stores and move to pc gaming. More exp starting cost, but way less to sustain.

Experiencia negativa: Arrived at store at 735pm lights are in, people are walking around, sign says open til 8 but door was locked tight. Horrible business model. I'm ordering from Amazon and calling corporate. It's not like this is a fast food restaurant that requires some extensive cleanup procedure. Absolute trash store. Experiencia negativa: Keep calling the store and I have no idea what the employees are doing. I call every 20 minutes and so we passed to this store and when in and no customers inside so I dial my phone to the store to see if they bother picking up but nope. They just didn't bother picking up. Then on top of that, everytime we go in and ask if they have a game that is certainly on the shelf, they look it up and unlock the cabinets and lo and behold, it's missing. And that went for 30 minutes everytime we wanted to buy a game. This is the most unsatisfying uncustomer service gamestop that are lazy in this city.

Experiencia negativa: Ordered online for same day pickup. Drove to the store. Lights are on, open sigh is up, door is locked and nobody home. This was at 1pm. Tried calling hourly until closing time - nobody answered. Guess same day pickup isn't a thing.
Experiencia fantástica: Irondequoit gamestop has employees that know what they are talking about and will make sure you know what your getting.
Experiencia negativa: The employees don’t know how to simply answer the phone. Called 3 times in a row no answer. Call yesterday and the day before no answer. My 8 year old step daughter can do more than these GameStop employees.

Experiencia negativa: I went to simply to buy a physical game. The person who rung me up tried to upsell me to a membership, I politely declined. They then proceeded to ring me up, with the game + a warranty he added and quickly tried to throw in without me noticing nor did I consent to. I noticed the extra $5 charge. He was trying to slip it into the purchase for an extra little bit of commission. I then, politely again, asked him to take it off and he gave me some bs reasoning with high pressure sales tactic saying that people were claiming warranty all the time because discs were melting due to new discs being made out of recycled plastic. Pretty shady practice, buyer beware.

Experiencia negativa: I would like to bring to attention some concerning practices regarding the management of this GameStop location. It appears that this store is being managed by the same individual, Chase, who also manages the GameStop in Brockport (which is closing down due to his poor management and shady business practices). I have observed unethical behavior, including the appropriation of high-demand products, which are then sold to local shops in the area. This conduct raises significant concerns about potential fraud. I have already reported this issue to GameStop, and I encourage others to be aware of these actions. It seems to be only a matter of time before the company thoroughly investigates the extent of these activities, including the sale of products on the secondary market and any deception of customers. Given the severity of these allegations, I believe it would be appropriate for GameStop to take swift action, including considering his removal from his management role.

Experiencia negativa: I had the slimiest interaction here with one of the associates, I believe his name was Devon. He attempted to add a service plan to my bill without my authorization as well as overcharge me for a game I was trying to purchase. If I hadnt realized that the game was ringing up higher, i may not have noticed that he added the service plan. He gave me my total and acted like the service plan was a part of what I wanted. I explained several times that I did not want it before he finally took it off. I was firm but not rude in my interaction even though I was getting extremely frustrated. After this point, his attitude toward me soured significantly and he also gave me a bit of a hard time about correcting the price of the game and my coupons from being a Pro Member as well. I'm honestly wondering how many people he's done this to who were not paying complete attention which is easy to do if youre going in here with your child or a friend and just slide your card in expecting your total to include only the things you had said you wanted to purchase. Thats 80% of the reason why Im making this review just so other people are aware that this may happen. I go to Gamestop frequently and have never had anyone attempt this before. This was the first time in awhile I have been to this location and honestly after this, itll probably be the last time if i can help it. I understand there are sales goals but this left a really poor taste in my mouth. I might have even considerer purchasing it if he hadnt just added it to my bill. His whole demeanor was really arrogant, condescending, and slimy. Like a stereotypical used car salesman, not a Game Stop Associate.
Experiencia negativa: This store try to sell me a PS5 Pro forcing me to get the membership and when I refuse to get it they refuse to sell the PS5 saying without membership they will not sell any PS5 and bla bla bla… don’t waste your time going to that store the personal is rude and unprofessional.

No wonder GameStop it’s going out of business yah people are a joke

So much for “Refurbished” I literally just got back today from returning my last one and they gave me one with a shot hard drive what a joke. Purchase through Amazon and save your time. Gamespot is a ripoff.

Corporate, if you read this, give these men a raise. They have earned it. The store has wonderful selection and reasonable pricing. It is well maintained and organized.

Experiencia positiva: This store ignored COVID precautions. Signs in the front window said masks required and max of 10 customers. By the time we left there were 15 to 20 customers. Some of them were unmasked.

His mother or Guardian didn't have a mask on either. As this child was throwing games on top of the games I was purchasing, I needed ask for another game due to no masks and no social distancing.
