Experiencia negativa: The manager is rude and not helpful. He allows items to be mispriced and will not honor the listed price. I have a pro membership and he refused to put my phone number in and stated he was unable to print a receipt. When pressed about it he said he would put the phone number in and preceded to pretend to do so. Seems like retail is not the place he should be.
Experiencia negativa: Unfortunately i always came here, but this time i went to purchase a game from this gamestop.They(store manager) had a price on this game that was not correct, ( I found out the hard way) I went to the counter to purchase this game, just to be told it was a higher price than the sticker on the game. They said they will not do anything about that. Im sorry but its not like I have their label maker and mark prices in their store, if a price is on something it should be honored, or do their job and make sure pricing is correct on the shelf before this happens again.
Experiencia negativa: I bought a PlayStation game card from the store. One of them scratched off nicely. The other one when you went and scratch it off all the numbers came off. I went back to see if they would reimburse me since I couldn't use it because the number scratched off. I was told that it is not their responsibility. They just sell the cards. I asked if I could talk to the manager about it. The lady I was talking to said I am the manager. I said well. Is there a phone number or anything that I can get to call these guys? And she told me to look on the card. They may sell the cards but the cards are from PlayStation and they have nothing to do with them. I would think if you're selling a card in your business that you would be responsible to help somebody out if they're looking to get this taken care of. I was told to find a number on the card and get out of her store. Terrible customer service for $10. I could have been a happy customer. All I was asking for is a phone number or someone to call who could take care of this situation. I would not recommend this manager or store.

Experiencia negativa: I drove 80 miles from the small town I live in on my Birthday (January 21st) and arrived there 7 pm to find the store closed, a good hour before it was supposed to be closed. Needless to say I was pretty pissed off. I severly hope someone does something about this because it's a terribke business practice and the responsible employee is dealt with accordingly.

Experiencia negativa: My son was just RIPPED OFF by game stop. They charged him $400 for a USED XBOX S. And sold him a headset that isn’t even comparable with XBox. Stay away from here if you’re new to gaming and aren’t super knowledgeable; they’re ripping people off who don’t know any better. That was all of his birthday money for the last two years. Your associates don’t have enough knowledge to properly support customers who aren’t already video game experts. Believe it or not, not everybody in 2025 was born with a video game controller in their hands.
Experiencia negativa: Called about a gamerelease told me yea just show up stand in line and get your game showed up early to be one of the first and get told no sorry your at the end of the line. Thats should have been something that was mentioned on the phone call instead of letting people stand in line for over a hour. Last game I buy from here.

Experiencia negativa: Went to purchase a few new games for my nephews birthday. At the counter convinced me to buy it used & did a switch. Ended up being the exact same price. Gave it to my nephew for his birthday & 1 of the 2 games after unwrapping it from the plastic was empty. Absolutely no game inside just a $40 case. Im not kidding you.

Don’t go to the GameStop at the mall because all the employees beg for pro memberships there’s this one guy named Damien at the GameStop on the southside that I went to and he’s a really nice guy he helped me with everything And he is the all-time best GameStop employee in my opinion so I definitely recommend him.
Experiencia fantástica: Went in today to give the PSA submission a try. Process was very easy! The employees were attentive not only to my needs but also the others in the store. Doing a PSA submission takes some “paperwork” it’s not just a simple transaction. The Gentleman who I assume is the Manager is perhaps the best GameStop employee ever. Experiencia negativa: I take my son into GameStop all the time and i am so DISGUSTED with how they handled this situation. We went in yesterday to buy a wireless Nintendo switch remote and it was on sale. I got home and didn't realize that is was battery operated and I didn't want that. Went back in today to return it and the manager was about to but then said, "oh, it was on clearance and I cant take it back." I was never told I couldn't return the item when I bought it and he didn't even know you couldn't return it until he tried to. I'm so disgusted that they wont honor returning it even though as the customer, I was not warned before I bought it that if its on sale or clearance, all sales are final. YOU SHOULD HONOR RETURNING AN ITEM IF THE CUSTOMER WAS NOT TOLD YOUR POLICY. As a manager, you handled this distgustingly. You could have returned it, and had a talk with the employee about your policies.
Experiencia fantástica: I get all my games here and never have any problems. The customer service is great. These guys know their stuff. I've never had a problem with any pre-owned consoles or games. Also, they offer protection on games and consoles for 1 year, or 2 years. If anything is wrong with the consoles or games, they will exchange it free of charge. The only thing I don't recommend is doing trade ins, simply because they lowball on trade in value. So it's better to just keep the games or consoles you want to trade in.

Experiencia negativa: Okay, so I'm gonna start off by saying that I have been a customer with gamestop since they were. Software cetera in the mall years and years ago. Each time I've went into gamestop. I've had nothing but a pleasant experience. I've known a lot of the workers for years as well as hung out with them and consider them. Most friends however, this last time I went in was probably the worst experience. I've had thus far by going to gamestop in the well over fifteen years. Now I also want to start off and say that Claire. The manager has been helpful. Yesterday I went in to go trade in some items to get a couple of new items. The items I went to go get was a 1 TB CJ hard drive for the Xbox, as well as an Xbox Series X controller, the elites series 2. Upon getting to the store, it took roughly about 45 minutes. For Claire to be able to help me due to the fact that she was the only one working and she was busy. Once I was able to be helped, I inquired about the controller as well as the sea gates. She went and got the items and wrung me up. I taken back a headsets. A controller with 2 battery packs. 2 switch controllers as well as 6 switch cartridges that were inside of a translucent's red case and 2 Xbox Series X games. I was told that the headset was not able to be taken in which is fine. The other items were taken in. However, the video games were not on the receipts. When I got home, I looked everywhere for the video games and could not find them. I back cracked inside of my father's vehicle as well as drove back. 2 games stopped to see if I could locate the games. However, I was unable to find them. I came back home and looked everywhere here in the house. And they are not anywhere that I can find. I have only been 3 places since going to gamestop my house. My father's vehicle and gamestop, so I'm not entirely sure. What could have happened to those games between them? But I know I did take them into gamestop to sell them towards this transaction. Also upon getting home. I noticed that there were components missing inside of the controller box. As you can imagine, that was very frustrating as well as my $25 gift card. 4 Xbox live that I had paid for that was on. The receipt was not in the bag as well. All I am asking is for this to be made rights for me to get the credit that I was owed as well as just have this entire situation taken care of as soon as possible. I will be contacting gamestop customer support through the 1 800 number. I hope you have a wonderful day

Experiencia negativa: Can be slow wait times as short staffed. Had called ahead to see when a preorder bonus steelbook from an online order would be available. First associate didn't know what I was talking about & the second one was rude telling me I couldn't get it because the game just released, so I couldn't preorder it. Re-explained about online stated had to come in to a store to pick up & was just calling to see if had any before I drove over. The associate once again told me I couldn't get it as I had to preordered the game. Thankfully, I have another store in town that actually understood when I called to check.

When I called the store I was told to call customer service but when I call customer service I am told to call the store. All I want to know is if I am getting my game. I WOULD NOT recommend ordering anything that you are going to have delivered! I would give 0 stars if I could
