Negative experience: Showed up at 450 store was locked said be back at 5 505 nothing 510 nothing 515 nothong not sure who is running this place but service sucks

Negative experience: I called to asked if they had a game and they hanged up on me and left me talking.

Negative experience: It’s 12:37 gates down no one in the store this happens way too often. Supposed to open at noon.

Fantastic experience: Steve has amazing customer service skills. He was very helpful with my PS5 purchase. He is always helpful and informative. Great store.

Negative experience: This store is trash. Usually has a sign during business hours saying closed for a few hours. Also called to get a price but was told I had to come down in order to get the price . Ended up going to target and had them match the same deal that gamestop was promoting.

Negative experience: store always not open on time is April 27 12:45 pm , store suppose to be open at 12:00 , a lot people waiting outside and some left , no wonder store going out of business.

Negative experience: I went here during open hours and the store was closed I called and was told there having a meeting and i don’t understand why they changed there permanent opening hours to 12pm Mon-sun I could understand when it was COVID but this is the only location I know that opens around noon half the day is gone and the staff doesn’t always ask if you want to use your rewards points nor do they tell you when they have deals going on

Negative experience: This store is terrible now. The past 4 times I went there, the store has been closed during “open hours”. One of the times, the female worker was sitting right outside on the bench and refused to go back inside. That is not the first unpleasant experience I’ve had with that same employee. This store has gone downhill drastically.

Negative experience: Brittany gave me a "discount" by tacking on a subscription I turned down and assured that it would not auto renew. I called their hotline to make sure, and it does. Don't shop here. They are desperate for subs. She also used a fake email so I wouldn't be notified

Negative experience: In the last month I visited this store 4 times during open hours and it was closed 3 times. Right now it’s closed even though it is supposed to be open until 9pm. Very disorganized and I definitely won’t come back here

Negative experience: Came there during a convention on October 27th, 2022 at about 6:30 pm. The lady there at the register harassed me and my friends, and was extremely rude. We left without buying anything, I do not recommend this store to anyone. Worst experience at a GameStop ever.

Fantastic experience: Zach has the patience of a saint. I never seen anything like it. He was working alone and was hit with a wave of customers, all wanted help and had different situations. Zach was very calm and cordial. He kept his composure and dealt with every customer accordingly. He greeted everyone with a smile, made a few recommendations, and treated everyone as if we were family. Most people would not be able to handle that kind of situation but Zach did an exceptional job. Even when he had some technical difficulties and the phones ringing off the hook, the man stayed calm. Zach must have a PhD in customer service the way he held the set down today. Absolutely Amazing. While Zach dealing with some technical difficulties, trade ins, returns, selling the protection and sympathizing with the customer who came in for a game that was not in stock, the phones ringing, the line grew longer as he was assisting me and the other, the man stayed calm. Zach was a one man army while dealing with so much by himself. It was amazing, you couldn’t pay to see stuff like this on cable. I had great experience and highly recommended this location.

Negative experience: I am long time supporter of GameStop. I enjoy the experience of going in store and the option of buying used games. Unfortunately, I have had repeated bad experiences at this location. Everytime I’m there it is the same employee and he never gives you his full service or attention. He is constantly distracted with conversation and is immensely unhelpful. Next, this location rarely has popular games in stock so I highly recommend to preorder or go to another location. I love GameStop but I wouldn’t shop here.

I understand that times have changed and procedures have been altered to provide a safer environment. But this is laziness. I can’t even turn a game over to see what I’m buying? I rather order online from somewhere else.

Negative experience: Whoever was working on 9/17 and 9/18 treated me extremely rudely when I asked whether the store had GTA5 in stock. I understand this is a busy time, but the employee was very dismissive and wouldn't offer me any advice on whether it made sense for me to drive from Norwalk to Stamford for a first-come, first-serve copy. So I took my business to the Westport store instead. The Westport store team was very polite, told me how many copies were in stock, and gave me a reasonable estimate of how soon I should get there to make sure I could get a first-come, first-serve copy. Common courtesy's not so common!
