Negative experience: Called there business number about 10 times they don’t answer

Negative experience: Ripped me off out of 14 bucks because they misentered a price, then didn’t even reimburse me. They just handed me packs because they were too lazy to properly refund me. Just another shop cashing in on the Sneakerfication of trading card games.

Fantastic experience: I purchased the Kyoshi funko pop and I'm delighted to say she arrived wrapped and in a second plastic sleeve! I've struggled to find this pop at a decent price and I'm happy she arrived perfectly! Thank you!

Massive selection of in box Nintendo games which was a massive plus. Great display of single cards as well. Next time I’m looking to add to my collection, I’m confident this place will have something good for me

Review gets 5 stars but I won't lie, a little bit sad that Neopet cards aren't available at the store but they get a pass because the owner is just so exceptionally awesome along with the employees! Couldn't recommend this store more for all your nerd needs :)

Negative experience: Hispanic man yelled at my six year old son for putting his hands on the glass while he pointed to a card he wanted. Was about to buy 2 booster boxes for surging sparks and a black bolt etb but thought better of spending my money there after he was so short with my child. Editing after the response to my review. I heard this same guy be very short with 3 other children shortly before yelling at my child. Disgusting behavior from a store that is geared told children. You guys sell pokemon if you don't want children in your store post it.

Fantastic experience: Took my grandson here for some Pokémon cards. Excellent choice for collectors. They have all ranges of prices. You can find some treasures

Negative experience: Not a good place for game collectors. Games are priced pretty badly. $60 for Mario 64 is kinda crazy. Also 'graded' video games are a huge red flag. There're far better places in Ventura for this kinda product.

Negative experience: Staff is unprofessional, extremely rude. It’s definitely not me as I can see from all the other reviews about their attitudes. Will never shop here again. I had a confusing return involving a gift card and Apple Pay and instead of calmly explaining the process, the associate raised his voice, spoke over me, and appeared dismissive, even exchanging looks with a coworker. I was asking reasonable questions about whether a refund had already been processed, and the situation did not need to escalate. Customer service should involve patience and clear communication, especially during returns. Very disappointing experience. My heart goes out to those customers who have experienced their bitterness and lack of respect.

Negative experience: Prices of cards are insane here, the times we have bought cards we have never once pulled a decent card which makes me think this place possibly weights their cards… not sure but it’s odd. The employees are also so unwelcoming.

Fantastic experience: Great games at good prices. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Fully recommend going in for classic games, pops and minifigs.

Positive experience: I generally like this place. I think their sealed products are fairly high priced against the actual secondary market prices. The singles are very fairly priced around market or sometimes a little below. They have the largest Pokemon singles collection in the area (that I know about).

Negative experience: ‼️PLEASE READ‼️Staff are very unwelcoming, the prices they charge are insane, you’re better off going to other card stores. If you’re looking for kind employees who actually know pokemon, support literally any other card shop. Don’t bother with this scalping store.

Fantastic experience: Great store, as for cards it's a cool place to stop to check out a huge collection of Pokemon cards. However, there is not much at all for MTG cards unfortunately. They do carry play boosters for mtg foundations and final fantasy though!

Negative experience: Pokemon cards are 3 times msrp… literally scalper prices

Fantastic experience: Ordered the Funko Pop "Eagly" figure. The price including shipping was amazing; because every other place I found the seller was definitely engaging in price gouging. Which is common for a figure that had been produced several years ago. But at the time it was made I didn't even know it existed. What made the purchase even better was the original Funko Pop box was inside a clear plastic box, which I think was meant for displaying it in a store since it has that hanging tab on top. The clear plastic box has plastic film on it to keep that box from getting scratched. I am not a keep in box collector; but if I was I can't think of a better place to buy the figure from. The plastic box was wrapped in brown paper and then sent in a cardboard box. Had never heard of the website/store; but the price was so good compared to everywhere else I decided to take a chance and give them some business. Glad I did. Used paypal for the payment method since paypal does protect your payment details while providing assistance if there is an issue. The Eagly figure is patriotic and so glad I was able to get one. Considering its patriotic nature Funko Pop really should keep producing the Eagly figure. That way other people could buy it without being price gouged. At least this website/store wasn't price gouging with this item. Would buy from this website/store again.

Positive experience: The prices on pokemon cards are high, but that's just the Pokémon economy these days. They have a wide selection of Funkos and retro (and some modern) video games. I will come back for sure.

Negative experience: Was a customer when place first opened up, their prices were very close to retail for cards and the workers were nice, now he turned to the dark side. Dude marked up the prices like crazy basically 2x retail price. The person who works behind the trading card table got meaner too lol. Saw a little kid ask to see the card behind the counter and the worker said, “Are you sure you can even afford it?” How can you be rude to a kid? Unbelievable.

Negative experience: There were two employees working this afternoon. One didn't seem to know much about cards and the other was an older man who was attending a customer. He had been with that customer for about 20 minutes. Three younger boys with an adult were there waiting. One of the boys asks for help because the person they were with had to go to work. The man's response, "too damn bad." These are 11 and 12 year old kids. Pretty disgusting way to speak to your customers even if they are kids, they are still customers.

Positive experience: Changing my review. ETBs and packs are still pretty overpriced but single cards are pretty fair. To the guy asking where you get ETBs for $50: you can't find them because scalpers have run rampant on the hobby and have been out buying them then reselling them for 2x-3x the MSRP prices. If people keep buying them at overpriced costs then scalpers will continue to out buy and ruin the hobby

Negative experience: First time at Mero games in Oxnard Collection and the costumer service was the down fall for me. The man over the counter where the Pokémon stuff is a total waste. Two thumbs down for giving any care to a customer. I was with 9 yr old daughter during my visit. That visit gave my daughter a life lesson… I told my daughter on how to treat customers and not to be like him. If Mero game has any improvement is that!

Fantastic experience: It's a pleasure to do business with the 2 gentlemen running the shop. Very friendly and very helpful. they were kind to go above and beyond that they had to for me. And for that I will always come back. I love walking into thier shop. all the vintage games pokemon cards, vintage toys, all the loungefly backpacks and more pops than you can imagine. Negative experience: I imagined that I could save a few dollars ordering a Funko Pop! from Mero's online store instead of ordering it online and found a good price from their online store. I waited almost a month and never got my item or heard a word from them. I called them and it turns that they didn't have it and didn't feel the need to write to me or call me to tell me that they weren't going to send it. My suspicion is that they sold it out from under me. I gave two stars instead of one because they refunded my money when I asked them to and when I called them they were fast to look up my order number on the phone when I decided that I had had enough of waiting. I'm not going to order from them again. I would have purchased the item from another store and would already have it by now. It was a very disappointing experience for me.

They should be more helpful and considerate. Def will not be coming to this store ever ever again. I rather go to the Ventura classic game store called Pastime Legends Video Games & Arcade.

They always have a great selection at super fair prices, and the employees are super friendly and helpful. It’s great to have found a local Funko Pop dealer! I will definitely be returning often!

Great selection of retro and current games, helpful and friendly service, huge assortment of pop figures if you're into that, and Pokemon cards! Plus they have movies playing in the background. Fantastic experience: I recently bought a large amount 0f funko pops and when they searched their inventory they did not have 3 on my order. Received an email within a day of purchase notifying me and they offered any 3 pops for 12.99 or under. I ordered all the pops in the 20 dollar range off their site so had no need. I asked if I could do one of their 35 dollar ones as replacement and received said pop. They also worked with me on the shipping as it was such a large order. Will continue to shop here for new pops. Awesome staff.
