Negative experience: They give horrible prices for the games and also. Didn’t assist me and said we are closing soon even tho on the website it said they close at 7 and I went at 5. Also they didn’t answer the phone after I called twice in the time of five minutes.

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience subbing to PSA with Simi gamestop. They’re always helpful. Things were done in a way that made me feel confident to sub through them again.

Negative experience: I called because I had a question they didn’t answer I waiting a few minutes still no answer I thought okay they must be “busy” I have it another 10min still can’t get someone to pick up the phone. I just think there’s has to be someone that can answer the phone or Someone just doesn’t want to do their job.

Positive experience: Coming back for the deals and promotions that they have in the physical store compared to the online store.. You will always find more surprise prices.. But we need more options for all the consoles not just in the middle.. Keep it up..

Negative experience: I told them I wanted to purchase a playstation gift card for a friend in mexico. They sold me a gift card, and it did not work because they are locked to the country of purchase. The employee did not know that, and when he told the manager, he was rude, and said he can't and won't do anything about it. He suggested I sell it online for less to recoup some money. Bottom line is they screwed up, and take no responsibility.

Negative experience: Great staff, amazing service. However I purchased a brand new game from gamestop online. Drove 40 minutes to pick it up only to find out the game is not sealed. I can't believe gamestop is allowed to sell open items as new.

Negative experience: It deserves no stars for unruly customer care. On Saturday 10/22/22, the store is supposed to be open till 8 PM, however it was close by 6:50 PM. The representative was inside the store and I knocked the glass door and asked him why it’s already closed. He says it’s closed at 7 PM, when it clearly says outside closing time as 8 PM. Even if it’s at 7 PM, why would the guy close the store 10Mins before. Totally being irresponsible and giving no value to customers time. I and my 10 yr old had to go back home.

Positive experience: 4 stars because it's pricey, and ove heard bad things about the way the company is managed, but they had whay I was looking for when no one else did, so cool on them for that.

Fantastic experience: I didn’t go into the store physically, but I just called in search of the unicorn Xbox X and Jimmy was SO extremely helpful. He looked online to see if there were any available in the surrounding areas and informed me on the best time to call back to check back in. He was easy to talk to and informative! If you’re looking for a PS5 though, they have bundles!

Negative experience: Only giving it 1 star because I used to reside in L.A. and know how busy a large city like that is...now I live in Simi and there is no way this gamestop in Simi Valley is always so busy that every single time I call it rings for over 2min till I eventually hang up. If L.A. gamestops which are dozen times busier than the ones in Simi and still manage to answer phones. Honestly as a person and costumer idk how or why they aren't able to answer their phone...

Fantastic experience: I love it! The cashiers are nice and make great short-small talk. A big selection of games and plushes. My favorite part about it is that it has experienced game journalists reviewing and talking about games. Great shop!

Negative experience: We tried calling this store 23x but it keeps on saying the store is busy right now so we decided to drive 21 minutes to check if they have the Switch controllers. We got there and we went in the store as soon as we went in 2 employees were there a man and a woman to my surprise they didn't even greet us or acknowledge we were there and we are the only one in there store. It was me and my 3 daughters. Customer service was terrible and very unacceptable! A few minutes later a Caucasian woman went in and the Heavy set employee guy said Hi to her...lmao ...so I said ok So we decided to pay for our stuff and the woman employee helped us but it seems like she had no choice. We will NOT be going back to this store! Do yourself a favor go to Walmart instead and you will get a better customer service! Good luck GAMESTOP!
