Negative experience: Place is hot garbage, phone doesnt work so you couldnt call in for a question if they got something in store. No greetings, dude working just chillin, sitting on the floor on a personal call. Nothing in stock. Who knows, maybe its a 1 off type of scenario, but wouldnt go back to find out if so

Negative experience: Guy that works here is weird. I put my pin in wrong a few times and he then began asking personal questions like "is that your card" and tried intimidating me by telling me he's a cop, as if it's relevant to the situation at hand. Your job is not to play detective; process my order and shut up.

Negative experience: I went to the store to do a pre-order for the Nintendo switch 2 and they supposedly gave out too many stickers for the systems. I have never been or wanted anything brand new especially video games or anything. There was even a gentleman who gave me his ticket and they decided to choose me to cancel my pre-order. I've never wanted anything brand new and I usually wait years before getting anything. I just started playing the Nintendo Switch lite and it's been out for years. I'm never even able to do midnight releases because I don't have the resources to get to the store and wait for hours and hours. I know I'll never have the resources or be excited about a new thing like this again because of my Autism and enjoy having a set routine. I feel like they targeted me because someone gave me their ticket because they heard my story about never being excited for new things like this.

Negative experience: I'm very upset with Game Stop. I had talked to the owner John over the telephone about my situation. I had purchased a VR set and still had the receipt. I never specified the time I bought it and he never asked if it was in the package still. All he told me was able to return it with my receipt and I would be taken care of. I went today before they closed and the young man at the counter had John on the phone. He told the young ma he couldn't take it back because it was past the return time and it was opened. I was angry because he could of told me all that before I drove their. I had to drive far and waste gas. I can't afford 300 dollars going down the toilet. I now have to sell it on Ebay. I also told him why I didn't come sooner. Most times I called including today no one ever awnsered the phone at the store. As a customer that's very frustrating. I assume no one is their and I'm not going to drive all the way their for nothing. The reason why I went their earlier is someone finally awnsered the phone and than I was not taken care of. I now understand why a friend of mine stopped working their. It's not a way to run a buisness. That is terrible customer service,especially coming from the owner. He also had to mention he was a fellow policeman which had nothing to do with what was going on unless it was meant as a threat. I will never go back their. I also warn other people of this location in Ann arbor. I know reviews work and many listen. It goes along way. You treat customers bad they tell other people. When you promise something the owner should keep their word.

Positive experience: Look. The employees were really a positive experience, but the decent of this chain into a seller of knick knacks and funco pops, along with the closure of nearly every GameStop near me, makes me think the perception of overvalue back during MoaSS wasn't inaccurate.

Negative experience: Avoid this game stop. This Ann Arbor Game stop does not accept this card . Gift card with game stop listed. Associate names Anthony said his manager Scott told him not to accept them . The back of the card say run like a credit card. Called the card company and was told, absolutely they are supposed to take them and run like a credit card.

Negative experience: Picked up a used switch here and they slapped on a recurring 'membership fee' without asking me about it. That's Fraud, my dudes. After a lot of back and forth and them refusing to refund the fraudulent charges they've now conceded to canceling the automatic renewal of those fraudulent charges, while still refusing to refund their fraud. Do not buy from gamestop.

Negative experience: The way they do business is dishonest. When I bought the Switch here, the staff told me that I had to be a member to make the purchase and the membership fee is around $15 one time. So I paid the money. However, after contacting the customer service, I was told that this is not their policy. What's worse, after a year, I got charged for renewal. So I visited the store to ask but they just gave me the most generic number for customer service. When I called, first time, nobody picked up after 30 min of waiting. The next time, despite the long wait, I was told that because it's more than 48 hours so they can't do anything.

Fantastic experience: It's been...awhile since I walked into a Gamestop. I walked in and both people behind the counter gave me a friendly greeting. I told them that's it's been a while and I had questions about the Switch and Xbox One X. Micheal answered all (and I mean ALL) of my questions and we had a few laughs doing do. I think I was there for about 20 minutes just asking questions and they put me at ease with their friendly manner and their incredible knowledge. I had no intentions of buying anything on this visit and they didn't try to push anything on me, they just walked me through how much things would cost when I was ready to buy. Thank you so much!

Negative experience: I have been shopping in gamestop for over 20 years and this is by far the worst gamestop I have ever been to. I have had multiple terrible experiences with employees at this location. They are rude, and they give out misinformation. They dont even look at the customer when helping them. I asked to speak to a manager and was refused and told they could not tell me when the manager would be in. I was refused a product that was in stock because the employee told me it was not in stock before even checking. Never shopping here again.

Fantastic experience: Just like any other Gamestop I've been to. It has a pretty good selection of games & other things as well. The employee there was attentive & store was clean & organized. I was surprised to see one of the Monster Hunter Amiibos here! Probably because this location seems to be kinda hidden in a older Ann Arbor stip mall. So possibly one of the less frequented Gamestops lol

Negative experience: Walk in younger male helping customer at counter. Another girl walking around couldnt have been less interested in helping. So we aked her for help. she said ill go in back and look for you. 10 minutes later she still just in the back talking to another worker not once bringing up what we asked about because we could hear the whole conversation. Want to know why your going out of business gamestop because i can get better customer service online from a conluter.

Negative experience: Was in line (4th to be exact) waiting for the series X and did enough research to know that they should have more than 2 series and one series X. Was told they were all out, but looked shady because there were people who knew the associates who skipped the line and went in for “pre-orders”. Little did they know, I over heard one of them say they didn’t have a pre-order, even though they went in before those of us who have been waiting hours. I will be making efforts to reach a corporate higher up to find out what there true inventory was that day for that location and have some give explanation for the misrepresentation.

Fantastic experience: Nice customer service! I arrived close to closing time to pick up an online order just to realize I have headed to the wrong store, Benjamin at the register immediately checked the stock, suggested me to buy a copy on the spot and offered to call the store to cancel my order for me. So basically because of Benjamin I saved a trip to another store, and pretty much right after I left I got an email about my order in the other store being cancelled, thanks again Benjamin! (I hope this is your name, it's the one on my receipt)

Negative experience: They are friendly in person, but they flat out ignore their phone calls. Been trying to reach them for days since they called about a game we ordered. Now they won't answer and even told my brother before they don't care about the phone smh work on that.

Negative experience: I paid for a gaming console over 24 hours ago online, due to person to person restrictions. I was told that after I made my purchase, I just come up there, show my ID, and get my system. I purchased the item, received an email saying it was ready to be picked up, but, when I went to pick it up, they told me they dont see my purchase in their system. So, game stop took my money out of my account, was told it will take 7 days to get a refund if the product hasn't been picked up, and.....I held on the phone for 2 1/2 hours to talk to customer service....I'm Very Disappointed, and Frustrated. Thanks!

Negative experience: So I was buying a game like everyone else until this one lady and her son came up to me and said "may I cut you it's my sun's birthday and he wants to buy and play his new game."I simply said "sorry mam I've been waiting in line for a while now and would really like to go home" She proceeds to push me away and take my spot.I yelled "Hey!"and the replied with this was her spot. Fantastic experience: The service at this location has significantly improved. Management and the staff seem to be on to of everything more often, they're informed, knowledgeable, and move quickly. I was thoroughly impressed with our most recent visits to GameStop on Eisenhower Pkwy, in the Cranbrook Plaza.

Positive experience: It's a Gamespot.... For all the salty, neckbeards or fourteen year olds who didnt receive a rated M game it's a respectable spot to buy from. In my experience every Gamespot has a similar experience and this location in particular has very experienced employees who can assist any mothers or fathers unknown to the hottest realeases for their childs Xmas experience.
