Fantastic experience: The associate was very knowledgeable, we were looking for games for Nintendo Switch. And found us more games than expected.

Negative experience: Purchased a $10 product from this Gamestop that turned out to be defective. When I went in to explore the exchange or refund options, not only were they unable to offer a resolution, (there were no similar products available to exchange, and the associate was unable to offer a refund,) the associate (who was doing their best to help, FWIW,) called the manager for assistance when she saw she couldn't refund the item. While on the phone, (on speakerphone loud enough where I could hear him,) he said that he doubted I had made contact with Gamestop corporate and had been advised to return the product to the store for a refund, (I was showing the associate the email chain,) and said I was "...probably being really annoying." While I understand procedures and policies, not being able to offer any assistance AND insulting me was a very poor customer experience. Weeks of emailing has yet to find anyone willing to make things right. Would not trust them to take care of the customer.

Positive experience: I have no clue how this place is still in business. Majority of the items are a higher price then others around town.

Fantastic experience: Took my kids in to check out some games this afternoon, the cashier was AMAZING. Super friendly, and was so kind to my daughter and all her sass I think the associates name was Hailey but I could be wrong, either way glad we went today!

Negative experience: Do not send your cards to PSA through this location. While the staff is great and very friendly, the DM is awful. Makes it as difficult as possible to submit a re-slab claim, already approved by PSA. Once the DM finally agreed they would not give me any paperwork to show claim was submitted. I was just told I would get an email. Needless to say, I took my card and left. If I still didn’t have 2 more orders at PSA, I’d never go back in this store.

Fantastic experience: This GameStop location offers the PSA services that I have thoroughly enjoyed. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and the store is always clean and welcoming. I have nothing but good things to say about the Allen road GameStop!

Fantastic experience: I just want to say that the assistant manager Lexi is such a delight to interact with. Everytime I come there to shop she makes it such a bright experience, she's not pushy, she's intelligent and knowledgeable and has such a bright personality. She always treats me and others with absolute patience and understanding. Usually in most stores the way employees carry themselves says alot about the vibe and experience you get with the company. She always makes the gamestop experience such a delight. 5/5 Stars. Promote that girl. She always works so hard.

Negative experience: Stopped in to acquire about pokemon stock to see if I was able to buy to any.there were 2 girls working,and both claimed they were out of pokemon cards.but the girl with curly multicolored hair was walking around with the product I asked about.why is it OK for employees to lie to customers about inventory.is it so they can buy it themselves or what?tired of being lied to by retail employees on this matter.none for tge customers but available to employees.bad business gamestop.very bad business

Negative experience: 11:30 on Saturday , June 7 th. while it says they open at 11- door locked….. seriously???

Negative experience: Employees are buying all the pokemon cards before they hit tbe shelf,if they want to get paid for cards they need to learn etiquette.

Negative experience: Stock checker said they were supposed to have 38 of the 151 bundles in stock but they only ended up having 10. Waited in line for nothing, drove from out of town for nothing.

Fantastic experience: Despite all the chaos that was going on with a botched preorder schedule with Nintendo, the employee that worked today handled things graciously.

Negative experience: Visited the store yesterday about 2pm, the young gentleman behind the counter was helping me with all sorts of information on Pokémon, yet the young lady that works there stocking shelves just in front of the counter couldn't help but make countless remarks which were not only rude but made me feel stupid for even stopping in and checking to see if the store had any product in stock. Seems like this is more common when you stop into a GameStop now. You get laughed at for asking questions and that's definitely gonna keep me from stopping into this location again.

Fantastic experience: I recently visited this store for the first time. I had two old phones of mine to sell. Not only did I get fast service and a fair price, but I also got outstanding service. I'm disabled and the staff member offered to accommodate me with a chair. She quickly and kindly provided me with a seat for the duration of my visit. She also juggled the ongoing store traffic swiftly while my devices were processing. Lexi did a fantastic job of making me feel welcomed and valued. Thank you.

Negative experience: Bought damaged poke mon cards. Brand new sleeve had pack with bent cards. Asked if we could get a replacement and nothing. Also felt like I got screwed selling back my Xbox controller that I also bought a warranty for. Way over priced. Only positive thing is that staff is friendly.

Fantastic experience: Jessica and Ethan were the best today. I went in sad because I had to return my defective switch to Walmart, losing all my animal crossing data. On top of that Walmart was completely out of Nintendo items so I couldn’t even exchange it. But the staff at this store were so kind and enthusiastic and they set me up with an animal crossing edition switch and let me sell my old regular switch that was still working to make back most of the money. They were both so helpful and their positive attitudes made me not even care about the data I’d lost! I will definitely be returning here for my video game needs from now on.

Positive experience: It is a normal game stop store. Ok place to buy used video games. Game stop is well known for giving almost zero in return when you sell them back your used game equipment then turn around and resell it for like three times what they gave you for it. Basically game stop is a used college book store for video games.

Fantastic experience: I had a pleasant visit to this location. It was a little out of my way but worth the trip, especially after a poor customer experience with the mall location. What impressed me most was the dedication to helping me even when the store was busy with other guests. I wish I had gotten his name, but this fellow was perfectly friendly and helped us find what we needed. He had great energy and even with a bunch of other people (which at times he was simultaneously tending to), we felt catered to. Will definitely visit again.

Negative experience: This place f*****g sucks I bought a ps3 and a tv and GTA 5.the tv HDMI doesn't work and there is no sound.the ps3 won't turn off.Gta 5 won't install it just freezes.I highly recommend mega replay because they don't rip you off like gamestop

Fantastic experience: The new store manager, [Tyler maybe(?)] went above and beyond for me. All of the pre-owned games I purchased were cleaned on the spot and for the games with light scratches he went into a full physics explanation with me on why they were ok first and then made sure I was ok with everything before I bought them(all of which work just fine). He also looked up Gamestop stores that carried the games his store did not carry and called them to put them on hold for me...basically he just made sure that I was taken care of before I left the store. I have been into the store since my experience with the new manager and I am happy to say that his staff is also amazing. Everyone is very knowledgable and just wants to make sure everyone is taken care of. The store was super busy and despite the line the employees had conversations with me as if I was all alone. The staff at this store really care about their customers. 10 out of 10 times I would recommend this store to my friends and family. I can only hope that when I move all Gamestops operate at this level. SHOP AT THE ALLEN ROAD GAMESTOP!! You will never EVER be disappointed. -don weatherson peoria resident

Fantastic experience: While visiting family for Thanksgiving, I decided to take my son to Gamestop to get a new 3DS XL game. The staff at the Peoria Gamestop put my local Gamestop to shame with both their knowledge and friendliness. The place was packed with customers, yet the staff still asked if we needed help and even struck up a personal conversation. I came away extremely impressed, and my son was ecstatic that he got his game quick and easy!

Fantastic experience: I moved from out of state and they had no problem taking my pre-order from one store to the other. And went above and beyond. So go check them out and see Corbett. Great location.
