Fantastic experience: Recently bought new release product at this location and it was missing items inside. Customer service was useless but the 3 employees there(Andy, Zoe and Sky) were extremely helpful on getting it resolved!

Fantastic experience: We had such a great experience at the GameStop in The Woodlands Mall! The store was clean, well-organized, and easy to browse—but what really made the visit stand out was the staff. Everyone was genuinely helpful and super friendly. They took the time to answer our questions and helped us find exactly what we needed without any pressure. What made it extra special? I ended up finding a fun little surprise for a family member—something they weren’t expecting, and it made their day. It’s always nice when a shopping trip turns into something memorable. Negative experience: Not about this GS specifically, but the fact that you have to have a pro membership to just BUY physical items, when the membership has virtually no perks anymore, is absolutely ridiculous. We spent a full five minutes looking through cards to be told we could even buy them because they didn't have a sign or anyone helping.

Negative experience: Este lugar es un chiste me ofrecieron una membresía la cual acepté y jamás me enviaron el correo para activarla, fui varias veces a la tienda a ver que pasaba y nunca me ayudaron, resulta que llame a servicio al cliente y anotaron mi correo mal y nadie en la tienda se dio cuenta en 3 ocasiones, pedí el reembolso y no se puede porque pasaron más de tres días, su gran solución fue subir mi cuenta a pro ( lo cual igual ya había pagado), cuando yo pagué un año completo y no la había podido usar en muchas ocasiones un asco de compañía

Negative experience: Was actually disappointed here. A lot of merchandise didn’t have prices. The girl with purple hair and eyebrows was not helpful. I asked for a price and when I finally got her attention (she didn’t notice and the guy that was working was helping a customer over he phone clearly so she should’ve stepped up). HE was actually really attentive and doing his job. She gave me the price and turned around right away… like I wanted to buy it! SHE WAS ON HER PERSONAL PHONE TALKING TO SOMEONE ELSE USING HER EARPIECE. Seriously?! That’s okay now? Ignore paying customers… giving a sob story how she needs her phone on her all the time in case of emergencies. I can hear your conversation and it’s not your mom. I had to get her attention again just to buy the item. I almost dropped everything and walked out.

Negative experience: Drove all the way to this location today because it says online you’re open at 11, just to walk all the way through the mall and see the gate closed; The lady standing at the counter said “no we don’t open until 12, I’ll probably open at 11:30.” What kinda business is that.

Positive experience: Wasn't impressed with this games top, I feel there are more items other than what games top was made for. Prices are mall prices, and just isn't the same. I like the games top on Rivers it has a wider selection of games.

Fantastic experience: Daniel at the Northwoods Mall GameStop is AMAZING ! He was so sweet to me and he let me know the Pro Event that was coming up for the PlayStation five drop at this location. I was able to be one of the lucky few people to snag a PlayStation five yesterday and I’m very happy that Daniel was looking out for me, knowing that I was looking for a PS5 a long time ! Me and my fiancé are both active gamers and we plan to make this location our go to for any of our gaming needs. Thank you so so Daniel , I really appreciate you and thank you for all of your help yesterday you made my day! If you need good service for gaming , Daniel and this location is the place to go ! Negative experience: Showed up two days in a row at 6pm to find the gate closed and no one inside. Staffing issues or not I know it’s not impossible to have someone at the store, whether they send someone from another store or whatever else. How can a business continue to operate like this? Management needs a change so the staff can get their rest, and the store can help their customers. Honestly such a joke

Negative experience: Danielle or Daniel was obviously in its feelings today. My son simply went in thx store to purchase a controller. This jerk was absolutely rude to an eleven year old that patiently waited in line to purchase & had a simple question about the product that he was buying. Must’ve made themselves feel macho talking slick to a child. Daniell or Danielle I invite you to meet me outside of your store & talk slick to an adult.

Fantastic experience: Gamestop's employees in northwoods are some of the friendliest and most helpful people. They helped me reserve items and held them for me until I got paid, they would search other stores or order games that I was looking for. And even when I was having issues with gamestop, they did everything in their power to help. Zoe, Deanna, and David are the ones I'm most familiar with and they are literally the best!!!

Negative experience: Went in for a "new" Nintendo 2ds, and was sold a pre-owned one. It wasn't properly cleaned, and I returned it. Then the employee all of a sudden had "found" a brand new 2ds (same price as pre-owned), when I was initially told they were out of stock. I know this was to boost profits, to flip a used console instead of selling a new one for the same price. Pretty shady behavior, only told me about the new one because it's better than getting nothing from me. You know whether or not something is in stock...

Negative experience: I've had nothing but issues with this GameStop, and all the ones in this district. I definitely advise you to shop at a different location. The district leader and I had came to a conclusion to resolve my issues I had been having. He told me to call him back when I was going to be going to the store again and so I did. When I call the first time, no answer. When I call the second day, again no answer.... The third day, again no answer. I tried a week later, again, and still got no answer. The customer service in this district is horrible. Shop at a different location, you'll be glad you did.
