Fantastic experience: I forgot to write my review yesterday after visiting , but I highly recommend this shop especially to women. I would go to a spot with my boyfriend in merrit island when I lived there , the first and only time I went in there alone - the guy charged me more than sticker price and argued with me when I brought it up after paying . I moved to palm bay, decided to say screw it and check out this video game shop alone...didnt catch the guys name but he was very friendly and even gave $5 off! Very stark contrast to other shops I've been in. Welcoming atmosphere which is a sure fire way to keeo and attract business, will for sure be back!

Negative experience: I drove a hour from Orlando and Honestly it was a huge letdown, nothing seems to be complete, hardware doesn’t have the proper connections (dongles for guitar hero etc) the shelves were full but mostly of the same copies of basic games. One thing I noticed is all of their ps3 games we’re default priced at 10$ which immediately turned me away, I find it to be a way to cut around actually checking prices, pricing them separate to make sure you’re giving customer fair prices. It’s a tiny loop of a store and you feel like you’re intruding when you’re looking around or asking. Thankfully there were some other stores In the area. If you’re just starting your collection and want some basic titles this place is one of the game stores just be aware you’ll be spending a little more for some of those ps3 games than at other shops. Response to the reply: You own a video game store, which means you should have a good stock of video games, not 15 of the same shovelware games. If you are getting poor trades and poor stock you should be outsourcing games and looking for trades, not just waiting for someone to come in to you and get mad at customers when they voice their opinion. You’re the first shop where they have said they only count on walk in trades and have no control over their own inventory which is surprising. Between that and having all of your games pre priced default at 10$ for 3-5$ games it seems like there’s lots of corners being cut which is not my issue. I’m sorry if my review upsets you and I’m aware it affects business but so does giving nasty responses and not fixing the issue and instead attacking the people leaving the reviews. Telling your potential clients to shop online is also ridiculous, I shop in store to support small businesses and make sure money goes to people that care about the hobby and not just resellers online, which is why my money was not spent here. If you’re saying you can’t keep old games in stock because they’re “10 years old” im confused on why retro games are advertised at this location. Because I didn’t see any new games either. So if old and new aren’t stocked what is? Have a great day and wish you all the best, if my review offends or upsets my apologies however I have been nothing but honest.

Fantastic experience: This is a solid store. This review is based on a few metrics such as price, location, competition, and store size. Price: This is one of the better priced local stores. They are often cheaper than the competition and on par with online storefronts. If you were looking for cheap games in the $20 or less range, they are extremely affordable and available. 5/5 Location: That area is not my cup of tea, but it’s not unsafe or anything 5/5 Competition: As far as I know, there are about five locations in Brevard County that sell a lot of retro Video Games; In my opinion, this is either the best or second best store. They have lots of variety and are fair on both trading and bulk sales. 5/5 Store size. Just big enough for it to take a considerable amount of time to look at everything. For me, this is about the perfect size for a retro game shop. 5/5 Overall, I recommend the store to both the casual HOA lady, the clueless divorced dad, the average gamer, and the “mommys boy” collector. There is a deal here for everyone, and you are not getting fleeced. 5/5

The store owner Joe is by far one of the best vendors out there and he’s very friendly now I finally understand why he owns 2 or more establishments. The establishments that he owns is well run and well maintained the staff team is very kind accommodating respectful caring and compassionate to their customers they don’t take advantage of you they don’t just run a business they run a go to hobby shop they do trades inside of the store they give free cards to children they show you the value of your card wether it is base on collectr tcg or market value. The prices are very reasonable they have almost everything that you’re looking for. If you’re looking for a go to card shop I highly suggest that you check this store and their second location located in renningers flea market in Melbourne FL. Fantastic experience: This is hands down the best retro place I’ve been too ever I’ve been all over America to retro game stores and retro places in general. The staff here makes you feel like you’ve always won the battle when it comes to negotiation, which is a great skill for a retro game store which always draws customers back into your store, places like ready set game can’t even Come close to Master those negotiation skills to the T. I do see this place going longevity in the future and I will say again they have over competed ready set game hard And I don’t see galaxy games ever having to compete with another retro game store in Florida period because every time there is another store that I think is gonna be better galaxy games always on top.

Positive experience: What can I say about a store that hits upon my every fondness for "retro" or classic video games? Check it out! Every time I visit, I see or come across an old title which jogs an old memory loose of my younger self, already in high school when the first consoles were released. They weren't my thing, but plenty of people I knew got an Atari or Coleco, and when Nintendo arrived my little brother was JUST old enough to score one for Christmas. So, yeah, Galaxy Games sends me back decades to times shared in family living rooms or college apartments and we'd be sitting around playing a video game. Now, at 57, my fingers aren't as nimble, but I still enjoy a game every once in a while, as do my own children-turned adults, one 22 the other 20. So, when we're looking for an older title, Galaxy Games is our go-to over the Internet, flea markets, or antique malls. Their prices are pretty good, and their selection phenomenal. There's always a deal going on, too, on consoles, or console-specific games. And the one guy that works whenever I'm in - friendly, helpful, and we swap "old school" stories. Well, that's Eric and he's there to answer questions you may have about any of the games or their respective consoles. Galaxy Games is out of this world when it comes to a shopping experience. Negative experience: Galaxy Games turned out to be a very untrustworthy business. From the start, they gave me misleading information and failed to follow through on their promises. Communication was poor, and instead of taking accountability, they avoided responsibility when issues came up. Businesses like this make it hard to feel confident as a customer. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you value honesty and reliability.

Negative experience: My binder of Pokémon cards was sold here without my consent. Value of over 10k. After I found out I asked the seller to go back and get the cards in exchange for the money taken. The owner refused even after receiving the explanation. I called and explained and the owner refused to help. Said he sold them. Okay, no problem I have an itemized list with prices for every card. Let's go through and what you sold I'll request a share of. Like I'm just trying to make the best of a bad sit. I don't want to get the police involved. When I said I had an itemized list of my cards and I would give him back the 300$ in exchange for the above the owner got very angry and defensive. He said the cards were not mine and he runs a legitimate business. If you were told the cards were not sold with owners consent you are obligated by law to immediately cease sales of that item per a investigation by the police. Legitimate business follows the law. Even worse, on a human level this owner refused to help a victim of a crime and profited on that crime with no remorse. After he yelled at me and hung up on me. Do not assist this business or their other location in Rennigars Flea market. They clearly do not care about their patrons or the community they serve.

Fantastic experience: Hidden Gem. We drove down from Coconut Creek, and I had the pleasure of visiting this store and making an amazing deal. The owner Joe is a spectacular person, and treated us like family. Will definitely be returning. Amazing inventory very great prizes.

He hooked up consoles for us, and made the environment so friendly and welcoming. There is a variety of classic games, it’s definitely nostalgic in there. We loved it! I could have probably spent all day in there, honestly. We will definitely be coming back here. We live in Vero Beach, and definitely will make the drive back.

Negative experience: Pretty good store to begin with. But what bothers me is that almost all of the higher end games are $20 to $10 over market. What I’ve noticed is that you can barter for a lower price. Meaning you think you get a good price for the game but you actually end up paying market price. If I were to choose a Game store to go to around Brevard I don’t think this is the top option. Besides the prices this place is pretty solid. Just wish the prices were better. Sorry guys

Fantastic experience: Just went in to sell my nintendo and zelda stuff to them. The place is cool and loaded with games, and good ones too. The owner was really chill, and everyone else there was polite. People going in were pleased with the selection, and a mom while leaving the store literally said to her kid "this is a fun place, huh?" I scoped out some of the games and the prices were decent. If I was to be back into gaming, I'd for sure be stopping in there.

Fantastic experience: Went to all 3 location Galaxy Games in Brevard County, the store is very Autism accommodating, has the best trade price value, Palm Bay has more variety to offer since it’s the main store and they bring their stuff to the flea Market in case it gets too full, that’s how much great variety for your price value and the choice of games is worth coming to Galaxy Games in all 2 locations! The Main store in Palm Bay, and the Flea Market store! This is one of the best recommended video game store in all of Southern Brevard County and possibly the entire state of Florida combined! Furthermore, as I was on my 3rd or 4th visit to one of their stores, the owner Joseph Lanasa just gave me 3 things for free as displayed in the picture as a thank you gift for bringing in trade ins from both the Melbourne store and the Palm Bay store and for visiting all 3 locations! I will 100% come back to all of Galaxy Games Locations! I was first introduced to them since Phoenix Resale made a video about Galaxy Games spreading a positive light on the stores! Thank You Joseph! Fantastic experience: My 9 year old son is obsessed with Pokémon and I've been considering buying a Nintnedo NES for sometime. I decided to bring my son to come check this place out on 12/19 so he could grab a few cards. My son and I were excited the minute we walked in and saw all the Pokémon and old school game consoles. We were immediately greeted by Miguel. Miguel was awesome, hands down the best customer service! He was so helpful, patient, and friendly while helping my kid pick out a few Pokémon cards. Then it was my turn; I had no intention on buying anything, but because Miguel was so helpful, it motivated me to pull the trigger and purchase a Nintendo NES and a few games to go with it. Miguel was very knowledgeable in the game consoles and was able to tell me what was needed to get the Nintendo to function on a newer smart TV. He was also very knowledgeable in video games as my little brother is shipping me my N64 and I couldn't remember the name of my favorite basketball game. All I told Miguel was there was a really fun basketball game on N64 that I couldn't remember the name. Apparently, that was all the information he needed as he immediately knew I was talking about NBAJam. The coolest part of our experience, I just got done paying for my Ninetendo NES, a few games, and a handful of Pokémon cards for my son. We were walking out and my son spotted one more card he wanted. I was excited to go check out the Melbourne store so I told my kid to hold off. Miguel must've heard it in my kids voice that he was slightly bummed about not being able to get that last card. Miguel offered to hold the card for my kid until we got done checking out the Melbourne store. After we visited the Melbourne store, I decided to take my kid back to purchase the card Miguel was holding for him. Overall, I was highly impressed with Miguel's amazing customer service and knowledge. Followed by the selection of inventory the Palm Bay store has to offer. Well definitely be returning customers!

Fantastic experience: After a 20 year slumber I finally got around to replace the DVD drive in my original Xbox and it lives again. New to the Palm Bay area i found the local Gamestop and paid them a visit last Sunday to see if they had any games for my revived console. They had a total of 3, yes 3 games and were incomplete (and I already had one of them - Halo CE) so I was quite a bit disappointed. Fortunately the young lady that worked there said I really should check out Galaxy down the street as they probably have more selection. Fast forward one week later I googled Galaxy for their address. That wasn't as easy as I thought it would be but after some detective work by reading through their Facebook posts, to my surprise I discovered they actually have 3 locations. So bright & early this morning I started making my way to the location on Babcock. Dude! Matt was great! I walked out of there with 16 original Xbox complete games in hand for less than $70. On the way home from there I stopped at the Palm Bay Road location. OMG, they had even more to choose from than Babcock. Forgot the name of the guy behind the counter at this one but he was awesome and hooked me up as well: 14 more complete original Xbox games for $75 out the door. So yeah folks, that's 30 complete games for less than $150. Galaxy is like a goldmine. The selection is awesome. Staff are super friendly and you can just see their shared passion for games. And the prices? Unbeatable. The wife's out of town so I'll definitely continue taking advantage of that by sneaking a visit to the third location tomorrow to see if I can snag another haul of items from my list. Thanks guys.... and the girl from Gamestop that sent me here. Highly recommended to everyone!

He and the owner are the absolute best and this store is a must visit from anyone looking to get games. From entry level games to high dollar they have it. In case I’m unable to find and share I also want to shout out Matt @ the Melbourne store. Matt was outstanding at their newest location and super to to work with. Then there’s Mickey at the location at the Renninger’s Flea market in Melbourne. This guy really set the stage for me. The desires to help with heavy hitter games to entry games and suggestions of what to play for why I love to play was outstanding. Overall you HAVE TO VISIT all three locations and tell the guys Jeremy says hi!

This particular store stands out with its excellent prices and fantastic deals. The store owner and the employee are incredibly friendly, making the shopping experience enjoyable. The selection here is impressive, especially for the specific items I was looking for. They offer a wide range of consoles, cards, magazines, and more. I always appreciate seeing a 'clearance' section, and this store doesn't disappoint in that regard either. It's always a pleasure to visit this store, and I highly recommend it to fellow gamers and collectors.

Fantastic experience: Came in a day before and purchased an OEM PlayStation 2 controller & Game from their store. Came home to try out the controller and noticed none of my inputs were working. Came in today to addressed the issue I was having with my purchase. Bryce was very chill and took care of the problem, he tested the controller and realized there was definitely a defect, he than tested another OEM controller which was working and swapped it for me, and in addition let me walk out with any playstation game in their library for the inconvenience. Pleased with the customer service, and will shop here again!!!

Store's only in business because its the only one wishin 25 miles.

Fantastic experience: It's clear that that Joey and everyone at Galaxy Games truly cares about the customer. New systems, older system, accessories... there isn't anywhere else in Brevard I'd go. The reason? Anything wrong, unusual, out of place, they got your back. At the end of the day they want you to be happy. I can't say that about literally any other game store I've visited. Fantastic experience: I visited the new Melbourne branch on the second day that they were open. Amazing customer service and product knowledge! Friendly staff helped us get our retro video game system and games package together with ease. We walked in with what I thought were tough questions and hard items to source, the owner took my questions seriously and breezed us through the transaction. I was probably there only 15 minutes. Retro system and games worked great, no complaints! Can’t wait to come back and fill out my collection! Excellent value.
